    Been a good year in WA. Third biggest grain harvest on record. Might be selling a few of these machines here. 😂

    Would be the best video of the big NH that is going around. Think the 60 foot front will be a handful on your contours and for any one with melon hole country. An excellent width for flat country

    They tested on of those 60fters here in SK. I think 2yrs ago, it was ok in thinner crops, but in heavy the acres/hr. fell off a cliff and the l/hr on fuel were out near Jupiter.

    Very impressive. Gotta say, yellow looks a lot better than green this year.

    MATT thanks mate wasn’t really expecting a video until January. This is a very interesting machine from a mechanical engineering perspective. Some great cotton crops and perhaps we see one at Moree 😁😁
    Any way hope all the Jackson family have a great xmas break, I’m sure we are all looking forward to your 2025 year. Cheers from Pete in IPSWICH.

    But can you repair it?

    • @einfelder8262
      @einfelder8262 Годину тому

      It's not green, and has fewer moving parts than before, so should be easier to maintain. But we don't know how this would perform with Moree rocks.....

      It was amazingly simple but that usually means electrically not simple 😂

    First Season with an FD241 big improvement on old FD75 👌

    Doesn’t look like a 5t/ha crop from Moree, I just look at how much ground you can see under the crop before it is cut in the aerial. It might need a few extra wheels on the front to handle the contours. I guess the auger is about 10 m long? Nothing like a bit of sand.

    Looks great but still massive advantages running two cheaper more basic ones. This machine is great when it is working well, bit still needs a twin sister too .

    Nice header

  • @rwfoxtrot
    @rwfoxtrot Годину тому

    Have you guys looked into using or trialing a stripper header? I think it’s by a UK crowd called Sherbourne?? From some of the YT videos I’ve seen they can harvest at a much taller height and what you lose in HP driving the header front you gain more by not having to thrash as much straw through the main chamber and sieves. It might keep the smaller machines you’ve got going a bit longer without having to completely re-do the CTF tracks and other equipment to a bigger width.

    I’m sure Brad will find a way to tweak the horsepower issue. Was the first hat Brad was wearing a bit of clue as to the brand of the new trailer for the Star?

    Phenomenal capacity in these big machines. The next time you have a spare million you can make a downpayment on one.
