Beautiful video. I have lived in pa for some years and the beauty of the land never ceases to amaze me. You're doing a beautiful thing with these videos man. Sharing the wonder of the earth, right here in little pennsylvania, with everyone on youtube. It is doing a great service to your fellow man and fellow living being by reminding everyone that we have MUCH to cherish. Your vids are inspiring.
Awesomely beautiful nature video! I love nature, the rustling of leaves underfoot, flowing streams, rich melodic bird soundWhat a beautiful patch of woods.
I just love your videos. I use to take the same walks in the forests in England. Now I live in a part of Asia where they have cut down every forest. It is only rice fields, so going along with you for a walk in these videos is just wonderful. Also, I love the way you have mastered the skill of walking so quietly. I use to do the very same but does take time & practice, as that way one does get to see so many more wild animals. Thanks again I love these vids.
I really like rotted and mossy logs like that too! They always have interesting colours and textures and often have lots of little creatures in them. That was neat that you got to film that yellow jacket! This is a great video, some of these scenes are just heart-breakingly beautiful.
Thank you again for sharing your lovely woods with us. I agree that there is something special about that green. I absolutely loved the bird sounds and the closeups of plants and insects. In case you are interested, the plants that you showed were (in order of appearance): spring beauties, garlic mustard, raspberry, henbit (I think), wild strawberry (very similar to buttercups), and the hairy, heart-shaped leaf is wild ginger.
Spent a number of years out near Dingmans Ferry, Ephemeral Rift - Such a wonderful amount of forests out in Pennsylvania :) Thanks for the binaural nature journey! The spatialization of the audio is amazing here (even the plane overhead)
Soooo lucky. Where I live, in Maine nearly every patch of woods is a moody dark green and usually always damp. But you get such vibrant beautiful leaves. :D
hey Ephemeralrift. ive been a quiet viewer for many years. you are one of the few to do hiking asmr... anyways, thank you. and also i have the perfect way to explain Asmr to ppl. it is like how monkeys groom each other, like when someone plays with your hair. except, its auditory. :] i think its exactly a kind of grooming. both soothing physically, and a sense of safety/connection in it. like a calm lazy day from childhood when people are quietly engaged in activities and occasional murmering. peace...safety...and reciprocatory grooming. a very communal experience. a facet of a human existence
Awesome, thank you. It's great to see this and love nature strolls too. Sometimes we just need this, just contemplate and relax. One of the greatest experiences when going into nature (hopefully), is the lack of noise. By that I mean, human-produced noises: power lines, cars, motors, planes, etc. Just a plain silence, along with the own nature sounds. That makes you find out: we live in a low but constant and permanent stress, to which we are so used to that we don't even notice anymore, caused primarily by noise. The body literally, immediately relaxes. My eyes see and my ears hear (with headphones), but my nose is like "where is the smell of grass and soil??" though haha. It like it wants its own share of the experience. Also thank you for your other live/still videos of rivers and stuff. They are great! I use some of them to study, focus and relax. Yours is one of the greatest uses of UA-cam IMHO.
I love this video! The whispering is amazing! But my favorite part, was your foot steps. If you made a video with the same microphones and just walked on that type of path it would be so relaxing. Keep up the awesome videos!!
Thanks for sharing! I think you would enjoy the Delaware Raritan Canal in NJ. Also in Franklin Twp. (somerset Cty) there are many beautiful trails with water running.
Love these videos! Want to try one my self. Im in the UK...we have some great forests etc...just takes a bit of effort and planning to get to, not really that easy to just go for a stroll. You live in a really beautiful area :)
Wow, those binaural earphones are really effective, at 2:30, the airplane flying overhead sounded amazing, like it was really there. Throughout the whole video, the 3D audio was great through my earphones. Great video bro, keep up the great work! ASMR fan, shout-out from LA dude. Happy ASMRing!
+Milky Filmz Dude... That binaural airplane... I'm an ASMR cynic and that had me closing my eyes. That, though, was just this time's fancy whipped cream atop the wonder that is ER's dedication. Oh! And. West coaster here, too.
As much as I hate it, I think the mosquitoes are the most impressive showcase of binaural microphone... precisely because I hate mosquitoes so much, hearing it go around felt like there was one by me for real haha. Either ways, great video like always, ER!
This is by far your best walkabout, but I hate the parts where the planes pass. I live less than a quarter mile away from LAX airport, so I get enough plane sounds with my headphones off.
This is amazing! Thanks for bringing the nature journey to us! And it sounds pretty great, I never thought about bringing the binaural recording device into nature. May I ask what binaural recording device you are using for this video? And did you use any amplifier?
I guess it's due to me living in a desert but forests like those sort of freak me out. I'm used to a lot of brown not green everywhere. So yeah I'm tingling and panicking at the same time basically
Have you ever encountered any other people whilst doing one of these? The forest is so beautiful, yet I can't recall ever seeing anyone else in your videos.
Oh, alright. I'd be pretty skeptic about doing something like this :p the thought of running into someone whilst walking around with a video camera, whispering to myself...
i can hear the stereo audio recording. was it made separately by your camera?. what was your audio setup? i would be very gratefull if you answered my question. thanks again. great work.
@@EphemeralRift ouu! I’ll have to check em out, i started getting back into your content more again. I’m glad to see you’re still doing well and the channel’s still booming. Take care my good man🫡✌️
I highly recommend you look up the video "Neature Walk." This video is really wonderful and pleasant, but if you've seen Neature Walk suddenly it's kind of funny to compare.
This video is so immersive it made me feel itchy.
So peaceful and relaxing. Thank you. Wish you Love, Peace and Balance in your life ♥♥:)
Ann Senes Thank you and the same to you!
I wish I had a forest like that in my area
bro where do you live with no forests?
find onee
@@domib.3924 There are a lot of places without forests.

That airplane flying over is trippy. Thanks for sharing your walk.
As always, another uniquely creative work! Thanks so much for sharing and will continue to anticipate future releases.

so wonderful. I love you nature. Thank you!
Love the in-ear binaural mic. Great sound.
I'm deaf in my right ear, so your videos are always an interesting experience! I loved this!
i love the sound of those birds!
this reminds me of when i'm stoned and wander around sometimes, pretending i'm doing a nature show.

feels unreal to see a forest like this to me
Some say the powerful relaxation whisper hypnotized the slender man.
Nice area really beautiful America and Canada have really breathtaking nature like Europe.
This worked great with my headphones in! Thank you!
this video is so FREAKIN' GOOD...thanks so much for sharing this
This really calmed me down and relaxed me! Thank you very much 🌺

Oh. My. God. That microphone is amazing.
love this walk... so relaxing, thanks ~~~
Thank you. Very nice. I live in PA. It is beautiful here and I like to make videos in the woods.
Love this walk, many thanks~~~
I was so immersed in the sound that when a bee flew by the recorder I jolted in fear. Lol

Lmao true but I can't tell if you're being serious or not lool
I am completely serious man. Rift is a beast at asmr.

Oh! And. West coaster here, too.
The first bee that buzzed him was crazy!
Wow! How do you get the calming low sound of your voice, yet also pick up the vibrant sounds of the forest? Wouldn't your mic pop from this?
omg everythings so green :3 its still gray and dead here no snow though
Lovely video!
As much as I hate it, I think the mosquitoes are the most impressive showcase of binaural microphone... precisely because I hate mosquitoes so much, hearing it go around felt like there was one by me for real haha. Either ways, great video like always, ER!
When you said shrubbery I thought, bring me a shrubbery, and then you said it. Well done sir.
This is by far your best walkabout, but I hate the parts where the planes pass. I live less than a quarter mile away from LAX airport, so I get enough plane sounds with my headphones off.
loved it. Good job

Okay ER, I live in PA, near Pottsville and our words don't look like this. I'm starting to think you spray pain the forest that color green T_T
Pretty to me, then. He must live in the Jim Thorpe area, haha. We have it green near Newtown/Washington Crossing
Make more like this in different views of nature
Have you ever encountered any other people whilst doing one of these? The forest is so beautiful, yet I can't recall ever seeing anyone else in your videos.
He cuts off the video when he encounters somebody, he said it i think in one of his Bigfoot videos.
Oh, alright. I'd be pretty skeptic about doing something like this :p the thought of running into someone whilst walking around with a video camera, whispering to myself...
Turns out you can't eat Doritos and watch ASMR simultaneously.
Yeah, I try to snack and relax at the same time. It never works.
+1_bullet_death_strike yeah me too I tried but it won't work 😁
+iBFP hi
Mary Zicari hi :)
i can hear the stereo audio recording. was it made separately by your camera?. what was your audio setup? i would be very gratefull if you answered my question. thanks again. great work.
Dude, this was awesome. I love this vids. Is this the same area you shot the Shaman/brother video?
your camera has a really good zoom...
At 56:58 at the bottom of the tree it seems like a skull appears on it. ER one of your best nature videos!
A couple of questions: What kind of camera are you using. It gives great detail. Also, have you ever seen bigfoot out there? :))
Which camera and lens are you using for this? Awesome quality
Its amazing you don't run into more people out there really
That might be because they're all inside watching ER's videos :P
he does that is why sometimes there are random jump cuts
thank you, man!!!
Do you still have these specific microphones? They sound amazing outdoors
Yeppers! Been using them in many of my outdoors vids this year (2024)
