60 frames per second of high definition beauty. Seriously this is the most beautiful video ive ever seen. The image is crisp and so is the sound, and the stabilisation is amazing.
+Aaron Wilson I know right? This is like some stabilization advertisement haha. Never seen anything like that. I thought the first few shots were drone shots.
Wonderfully done. Great filming! I'd just like to say thank you for all your work and time put into your videos. If there is ever a doubt in your mind about what you do, or why, etc... please know that real people do appreciate it. I had a bad day today and by bad I don't mean shit happened. I mean that I remembered my father, whom passed away in 2004. He was everything to me. Every once in a while, something reminds me of him and I can't simply smile and look back on found memories. Some times it just totals me and all I can do is cry. I had one of those days. But watching your videos helped me. So for that I am grateful.
+alyssa arceo He's using a camera stabilizer I think. It's this huge metal thing with two handles that use gravity and weights to keep it steady, pretty cool tech!
I loved this video thank you so much for taking us along for the walk. I loved the birds'songs and the waters sounds, your footsteps and your soothing voice too. so so very relaxing and calm x love from New Zealand
These nature videos are so amazing really enjoy them, I didn't use headphones for this video and I still felt really relaxed by the nature and your voice :)
I was all geared up to head out on a 3 day hike here in Newfoundland but then in one day it went from blooming flowers and rolling green fields, to 38 cm of snow in a single night. This video should hold me over.
You know what's really a treat- Longwood Gardens right after a snowstorm. Lots of trail paths, people tend to stay away because it's so cold, but if you catch it early January at night while the Xmas decorations are still up, it's absolutely phenomenal.
Thank you so much for this! I've got a sprained (possibly broken, doctors aren't sure) ankle and I'm unable to walk. I've been cooped up in my apartment wishing I could go outside and enjoy the springtime weather. This video is so beautifully shot and the audio makes me feel like I'm there... I really needed this. Bless you.
That is a very nice state park I live in Illinois and there are some really nice state parks to hike through as well. You said in the video that it was 8am in the morning that is the best time to go I think. Keep making more nature videos
I've been a longtime casual fan of your channel, and finding out you live in Pennsylvania and moreover have visited some of the state parks from my childhood is just mindblowing to me. Such a small world!! French Creek looks wonderful as always.
Absolutely top class! I loved this from beginning to end and know it will be one I return to often. Just the sound of the stream/water at the very beginning would make for a good ASMR video - and hour of that would be bliss! Thanks Mr Ephemeral! (Superb quality camera I'd say.)
P.s. one idea for a video... try to make like a camping video with Indian fire and some kind of a grill or something. when it's night so we can hear bugs and see a stars at the far. Also, put the radio on a low volume. Make it like "in a second plan". That would be AMAZIIINGGG! I love camping in a tent with Indian fire right next to it and meat on it^^
you managed to keep the camera very steady it looks amazing ! I like those little walks videos, makes me want to go outside too (: Hope you're doing well Mr.Rift
I love your nature walkabouts. They are soooo relaxing. If you come up to Maine, to Baxter State or Acadia or elsewhere, let me know. You and yours are welcome to stay with me and mine.
If you want quiet trails far off the road in fr. creek, I'd recommend the trails on the east side of the park. Also, in terms of natural beauty, i think Scotts Run Lake beats Hopewell lake by far. If you can't tell, I'm gently prodding you to go and do another of these haha. Keep up the good work!
Hello uncle E, I have been a big fan for a long time now. I have was hoping that you can do a social anxiety and how to get over it video. I am a very shy person and it is ruining my life. Even if you don't see this thank you for making videos and being there for me.
everything about this is epic, I love this amount of commentary with nature trip. epic picture and asmr sound of nature, I have two things to say though, even though they would probably be hard to do. first I'm not really sure if the slight buzzing from the camera steady thing helps the asmr or not, but if there was a way to sound proof it maybe thay be cool to try. lastly I said this on one of your last ones but if you ever get a 3d camera, put that baby on your stability mount thing and that would be fucking sick!
Hey Rift. Music doesn't exactly bring ASMR the same way whispers and things like this do for me, but there's an artist called Nujabes that sort of has a real chill and relaxing vibe to his beats. You may like his work. It's generally piano or acoustic guitar music with a hiphop beat.
This is the new revamped fire watch. Er felt bad for not playing the game so he got a super secret code for this one, only one code exists besides Rift's
He has the camera mounted on a sort of swivel tripod (without legs) and its on a bearing so it smoothly tilts. They are kinda expensive. He also has a steady hand.
Rift you live near French Creek? Dude were practically neighbors. By any chance was this the Boone trail. that one was always my favorite. Also fantastic as always

The steady cam you're using is so smooth I couldn't even fall asleep! I was so in awe by the footage. Great job Uncle E!
Ikr. it looks like the camera is floating
+alyssa arceo He's using a camera stabilizer I think. It's this huge metal thing with two handles that use gravity and weights to keep it steady, pretty cool tech!
+chagis100 His other one was electric and made a wirring noise when it adjusted, sounded horrible.
ahhh... spring.. all the birds sings and the nature comes to life again after a cold winter.
This camera feels like I'm looking around in a video game! Awesome footage and video rifty
+Nuka Cola I never thought about it that way, you're so right lol!
+Nuka Cola It's like he's using a console controller at a locked framerate :o
Makes me want a freesync monitor!
I hope video games look like this one day
I loved the water sounds in this - very soothing. Also the soft rustling of leaves underfoot was great as well. This location has lots of potential.
Used to go here all the time as a kid during the summers. Thank you for the nostalgia.
The crunching of the gravel and dirt perfect and the park is beautiful 😍 Loved the video!
I loved this video thank you so much for taking us along for the walk. I loved the birds'songs and the waters sounds, your footsteps and your soothing voice too. so so very relaxing and calm x love from New Zealand
I'm not usually one to make demands, but you have to go back there next fall! You must! I insist!
That place is just so beautiful.
I gotta say this is a really nice style of video

Nature; creating ASMR even before there was an audience.

A Kayak ASMR video sounds like a wonderful idea :D the splashing of the water... Oooh, that'd be great ^.^

nature walks should be in the near future for me. Fantastic video, loved it uncle E
I love nature. Here in the uk we have the lake district and it is only about 30 minutes away. I love going in summer and sitting in the woods.
Soooo relaxing and unique. Thank you! :)
Man, while you're enjoying that nice weather I'm here in Colorado just getting over a huge blizzard haha! Great vid!
So serene!
Love you

Wow, can't wait for the beta to come out!
Dude this was a real nice video please make more
your gimbal does this footage wonders, so smooth. some movie scenes aren't even this steady A+
So still, the camera, the lake, everything.
Would make a great place to have that picnic you were talking about awhile back.
I love your nature videos !
Wow, this looks almost as good as stuff rendered in Unreal Engine 4!
you managed to keep the camera very steady it looks amazing ! I like those little walks videos, makes me want to go outside too (:
Hope you're doing well Mr.Rift
He had a stabilizer for the camera
Oh ok, makes sense unless he was a super human P:
Which actually might be true
Rift you should totally make a ww2 themed ASMR video
Gas Chamber ASMR
Fox hole ASMR with battle in the distance
beautiful place 😍
Great idea to bring us with you. How'd you keep the image so stable? Nothing better then a good nature walk. 😊
I really want to see that fire tower, maybe you could even do a "Firewatch" roleplay! That would be awesome :) Nice video
Kayak asmr! Yes please!
Your best videos dude
This makes me want to make trip to the nature
+Barbarian King Me too , I did that every week with couple of friends but we have to go more than one month
I enjoyed watching this video game
Uncle E we live in the same state! I live on the west side of the Susquehanna river though.
I love your nature walkabouts. They are soooo relaxing. If you come up to Maine, to Baxter State or Acadia or elsewhere, let me know. You and yours are welcome to stay with me and mine.
Reminds me of "The Vanishing of Ethan Carter". Love it.
Between the 60fps and the gimbal this was as smooth as Bill Clinton
This was great 💃🏽😱💛💛💛💛💚💚💚💚
So beautiful :)
Spent some time in Michigan's nature today myself. Hoping it will solve some problems.
BTW, its amazing how still you are able to keep that camera!
great video!
This video came at a perfect time. Had trouble focusing on work today, now I can power through :)
didn't know you were from the area. this is nearly right in my backyard!
this camera is amazing man😀
French Creek State Park is a personal favorite! Only 30 minutes from my house!
So beautiful
I lived in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania when I was a kid, and went here a few times.
Well howdy neighbor ! Or ex-neighbor if you’re no longer in PA..
How is this so smooth!

This is like watching Fire Watch but with better graphics
The graphics in this game look amazing
This is the new revamped fire watch. Er felt bad for not playing the game so he got a super secret code for this one, only one code exists besides Rift's

Nice video
That HD is pretty crazy.
this looks exactly like a video game..so surreal
Its nice to see rift less insecure.
Does anyone else think the steady cam makes it look almost like a video game?
23:46 the squirrel ran :)
