I find this soooo relaxing. I just had to move back to Sydney Aus after living in Vancouver for 2.5 yrs, which means I miss out on the rest of fall. So it's so nice to come to this vid and have a touch of fall whenever I want, and hear nature and leaves crunching
I love how you capture ASMR in all of your vids. You also did one of the best crayon vids that I've ever heard. Love your creativity in all of your videos.
One of these should end with a guy in a Bigfoot costume pretending to beat the shit out of Eph. Eph: And that's why we don't need money because…what the hell is that? OH MY GOD! **Drops camera as screaming and punching sounds are heard**
I honestly believe that many of those who don't see the importance of nature, have never 'really' experienced it. We owe it to ourselves to open their eyes and make the world a better place for everyone.
I live in PA about an hour out of Philly, I've lived here all my life and I have to say the nature and pure beauty of where I live has to be one of my favorite things about living here. I'd say Pennsylvania has some of the best weather, Exocet for winter it gets so cold. x
Thank you for having this relaxing and interesting walk together. You inspired me to talk more in my nature videos. I love your thoughts my friend and feel also the beauty of green. :)
Thanks so much, this is of great value to me, as there are few trees (especially like these!) where I live, and I miss being around trees and chirpy birds. I mean, the desert is beautiful but it's nice to pretend to go for a walk in this gorgeous forest. Especially hearing all the critters and the friendly conversation. Thanks so much, sincerely.
I'm not sure why but I really prefer listening to male asmr videos, maybe its because my brother used to read books to me when I was younger and he would always speak so softly :') who knows, but these nature walks sure are relaxing to watch and listen to. :)
Uncle E, while you were talking about how you are more than just you, it reminded me of "I contain multitudes" by Walt Whitman. Have you thought about doing some poetry readings?
You know, Ephemeral Rift? I love your videos just like all your subscribers do I'm sure. This video is great and really shows the beauty of Pennsylvania. I live in York Country near the Maryland line about 7 minutes from it actually. I saw your video on Hershey and also how you like to vacation to Ocean City with your family. If I run into you some day I'd like to shake your hand and tell you in person that I appreciate these videos here on UA-cam! Season's Greetings, Erik
Ephemeral sounds faded af in this video, maybe that's just me but that thing about left and right brain from the bit about finding a center kind of got me lol.
Damnit Uncle E, this video reminded me you might live nearby, but Springfield is almost two and a half hours from Williamsport. It would be cool to meet you in person. :/
wow this must be a really expensive camera.... and oh my gosh I'm not used to seeing UA-cam videos on 60 fps cuz most are still 30 but 60 just feels so different
uncle E, you should do an alien abduction roleplay in a mask and a hood with a huddle of other aliens. id love to see that!! thanks so much for this video, i watch these when i meditate :3c
I totally agree with you about the flashy "culture". I personally dont have a problem with people being rich and awesome, but knowing the rate of suffering that a vast majority of people face, I would feel like a complete a$$hole showing off all my diamond studded $hit. It's like being the only kid in school with a lunch while all the other kids around me dont have anything and they are hungry. I would feel horrible. I couldnt possibly enjoy my lunch no matter how delicious it is. It's like that old song: "It aint no fun if the homies cant have none."
+Brandon Terzich I started to get into that, but then some of the caches are in overgrown places. One word: ticks. But... I have yet to do a geocache video like I wanted/planned a couple years back when I got into it. Hm... let me think about it. Maybe I can make that happen.
Very relaxing! The discussion on biology and the function of the mind from an evolutionary standpoint was frustrating, to say the least, unfortunately. Quite a few misconceptions about the topic.
+Valoria SaysSo The first that comes to mind is the discussion about the body existing to keep the brain alive- on the contrary it's quite the other way around. The brain was developed as an adaptation because individuals with the capacity for pattern identification and analysis were better at surviving. In effect, the brain exists to help creatures procreate. Or so it was originally. Now, the brain exists to do whatever the brain decides it wants to do. To a degree, anyways. The topic of "free will" is still in debate.
WhisperScientist I agree with pattern identification as adaptation to keep yourself alive. However, I get that feeling all the time that my body is just carrying *me* around. There's so much we don't know about the brain still..so...*shrugs* who knows.
Meanwhile in Austin TX, it's been pissing rain and hurricane Patricia is about to butt hump us... BTW, after the bounty hunter vid, I'm not sure I'm super comfortable going into the woods with rift. Not unless I have my brush axe, kukri machete, and preparation h, the cuddy two for protection, the last one for this wicked hemorrhoid I got. Otherwise great video, ER!
I know this isn't a related comment to this video but I know you are into Tool and Tesseract. Have you ever heard of or listened to Steven Wilson? He was originally in a band called Porcupine Tree, who I think you'll love also. He is a progressive rock God who writes about depression and all sorts. I think you'd really appreciate him man. :) check out album. "Hand.Cannot.Erase" let me know what you think!
+Harrison Smooth Someone else mentioned Porcupine Tree maybe last year. I believe I checked them out and I think they make some longer songs? Anyway yes I liked them. But not Steven Wilson directly. I'll try to check him out.
They do have longer songs yeah. Some dark, some not. They have alot of albums. The best are: In Absentia, Fear of a Blank Planet and Deadwing. Although they're all good. Steven Wilson's solo stuff though Is literally on another level. Hope you enjoy :)
We have very similar world views uncle E. Your vids make me feel so...human. Thank you
The crisp leaves softly bouncing off the ground makes the most excellent sound
The calm after the storm that is summer, autumn has always been my favorite time of the year. Awesome vid, good sir.
I love these videos! very relaxing!
I love your nature walks they wipe away my stress and help me sleep thank you E.R

I absolute love these woodland walks
One of these should end with a guy in a Bigfoot costume pretending to beat the shit out of Eph.
Eph: And that's why we don't need money because…what the hell is that? OH MY GOD!
**Drops camera as screaming and punching sounds are heard**
I like this kind of video :)
+Monsieur X I'm glad to hear. :)
it's been almonst a year, and i still come back to this video. i find it soo relaxing
almost*
It's so beautiful there! Where I live nature is all yellow, orange, brown and red and it has been raining now for a few days.
I honestly believe that many of those who don't see the importance of nature, have never 'really' experienced it. We owe it to ourselves to open their eyes and make the world a better place for everyone.
That place kind of looks like the area of countryside around Riften. Which is in the Rift... the Ephemeral Rift if you will ;)
Damn, if only I knew how to mod Skyrim. That would be an amazing mod to have. Traveling throughout the Rift to different regions.
CreaturePlaysGames I'm pretty sure portal mods already exist.
Harperlarp I mean a specific Ephemeral Rift mod.
I hope to see you do another one of these, I LOVE very soft speaking mixed with nature sounds
oh my this is perfect , I slept to it last night very nicely , now I'll fast forward a bit , sure will fall asleep to it again , thank you sir .
Seriously it is amazing that you use 60FPS!
this is peaceful🌲🍂☀
Yes!! I love your nature videos!!
+tkbruise kc I'm glad to hear, thank you ;)
I was listening while studying and that loud crow at 1:17:08 made me laugh so hard that I completely forgot the stress and concern I was under.
Thanks so much for these types of videos. I can't get out into the forest, so this is great.
I live in PA about an hour out of Philly, I've lived here all my life and I have to say the nature and pure beauty of where I live has to be one of my favorite things about living here. I'd say Pennsylvania has some of the best weather, Exocet for winter it gets so cold. x

Well thank you for watching.
Oops, WOODLANDS, not forest. I was listening to you, and yeah I didn't know the difference either.
+anni dee what is the difference?
I love your way of thinking
I'm not sure why but I really prefer listening to male asmr videos, maybe its because my brother used to read books to me when I was younger and he would always speak so softly :') who knows, but these nature walks sure are relaxing to watch and listen to. :)
Gotta love Pennsylvania!

Awesome job!
Well done and thanks
Uncle E, while you were talking about how you are more than just you, it reminded me of "I contain multitudes" by Walt Whitman. Have you thought about doing some poetry readings?

You know, Ephemeral Rift? I love your videos just like all your subscribers do I'm sure. This video is great and really shows the beauty of Pennsylvania. Season's Greetings,
Erik
I love Delco.
how big was this video file when you had to upload it? nice video btw
tbh Eph...you sound like Nic Cage as you describe nature xD
I think he kinda sounds like the Candy Man in my opinion
+Xanathos Prince (Evan Douville) OH wow, he does sound like Nicholas Cage.
Maybe even Professor Clemmons.
Ephemeral sounds faded af in this video, maybe that's just me but that thing about left and right brain from the bit about finding a center kind of got me lol.

Anyone have any idea what camera he uses to record?
What camera do you use ER?
60 fps is awesome. However I still struggle to articulate the difference between 60 and ≈30 fps
wow this must be a really expensive camera.... and oh my gosh I'm not used to seeing UA-cam videos on 60 fps cuz most are still 30 but 60 just feels so different
You should do a roleplay of Bob Ross painting

+Mister aspi lol king Yeah I've heard of it but never played it. I'm down for anything not human so I'd say Orcs too ;)

If I'm not mistaken, aren't these woods near your job and not your house?
i wont be who i am tormorrow or who i am today tormorrow because my cells die then, new ones are made.
uncle E, you should do an alien abduction roleplay in a mask and a hood with a huddle of other aliens. id love to see that!! thanks so much for this video, i watch these when i meditate :3c

Little does he know... he passed a geocache....
Is that a relation of Geodude?
+Don Linton No, its a world wide GPS based scavenger hunt kind of deal. www.geocaching.com/play
+Brandon Terzich I started to get into that, but then some of the caches are in overgrown places. One word: ticks. But... I have yet to do a geocache video like I wanted/planned a couple years back when I got into it. Hm... let me think about it. Maybe I can make that happen.
+Ephemeral Rift Not going to lie, that would be awesome! Wear some boots and tuck your pants into your socks. Works for me! LoL

Wait, you say Autumn? I thought the American English word for this season was 'Fall'
Hey Rift! Whispering Dead soon??
How did you know I was coding lmao
I bet that you just scrolled to the bottom to try and find his first video
I don't know the science behind that. If you can science that. Lol we'll put into words
