Hello Polarity. Thank you for your cool devices. I would like to add that to control clipping you can do a delta solo, you just need to mix the effect through Chain by 50% and reverse the phase. Then the clipped signal will be clearly audible.
HA! very nice Idea to use the Button as an LED! I just tried it and used an audio sidechain modulator on a tool device instead of a grid device. This seams to be for me even less CPU heavy. But this was just a LED test Test ;) Thanks so much for that idea! 🌻
Very Awesome! Do you have a recommendation for autolevel (or in general) to visualize volume levels easily when playing live? I would love to have a clearer view when playing with the band of the level of the vocals, guitar, drums etc. I was experimenting with your prev version of autolevel for this purpose
@@PolarityMusic ok per song (scene) i use different fx for guitar or vocals or bass, all different presets and off course the volume differs every time. I try to automate it as much but i would like to develop a system where i could see the desired volume per track so when we’re playing i can easily adjust the faders to that threshold.
Nice update to the clipper with LED indicator :). I must say though, Over has become my absolute favorite clipper and I hardly use anything else anymore. But I have to try your spectral clipper. Sounds like an interesting idea!
@@PolarityMusic I agree it seems to have a character of its own. Absolutely love it on bass lines. Let it clip the peaks a tiny bit and then open the knee :).
For these reasons I don't understand the bit wig, the FX3 which is a very useful device within the DAW, and for mixing, which was necessary to be surgical, generates several artifacts, I can't have more than 2 inside my master, or buss channels, but a modulation, sound design and experimental device I think I can say so, is a clean device, with linear phaser, type ?? Can't understand the bit wig
Polarity, is it possible to create Make Noise’s FINAL output on their DPO oscillator in bitwig’s grid? I wish I had the sound of the FINAL output in the box.
wow! Rob, we need you to give us more lections about phase. Not usual phase in sound, that is easy. what a hack is bitwig grid's "phase"? transporter's phase or internal clock phase? how it relates to tempo, should we start playing to trigger it or it always running, i've alredy got much of that stuff from your videos, but creating a deep lecture on grid's phase will be a cool thing!
Amazing stuff!!! I’ve sometimes noticed that when using Auto Level Fancy and then bouncing a track there would be like a lag in the leveling so like low then sudden jump up to full. Is this an issue with bounce setting? Or tough to say without an example?
I know what you mean - it’s a problem I need to address. On every bounce, the preset initializes without any values, which leads to these jumps. I’ve wished for a persistence module in the Grid for years to store values with projects, it would really help in this case.
@ gotcha! Yea I guess the array won’t help with that. Would a workaround be to record the output into another track live? Would that work? Do I lose access to 32bit rendering?
The biggest hero a DAW could ever have. Cheers friend. Happy New Year.
🙏

Yeah, in this case, I just wanted a quick and easy indicator.

Awesome! Thanks for the updates.
Super useful. Thanks a lot for the new presets!

what do you have in mind? or whats wrong with the meters on the channels?

Over is dope, but I found it uses a lot of CPU with many instances and sounds a bit different in some cases.

Fair play giving this out for free, cheers!

That's a hell of a program😃 👍👍👍👍

There's a nice video about it on the bitwig channel from a couple years ago

Very cool, thank you.
You are a beast. Thanks!
Polarity 5.3 - Nice Tools
thanks man
Thanks, my bitwig version 4.4.10 no work preset(
Sorry, 4.4 is very old for me. why no update gaudinni? 😅
@@PolarityMusic It was a difficult few years, there were many losses, and finances didn't allow it.
thanzz mann¡¡
Ahh yes, anti eye-lacing is off.
we don't deserve you
