** This video shows my Wltoys 124018 Desert Buggy running with the wider tires taken from Wltoys A979.
** There is great improvement in handling when driving in fine gravel or rough surfaces.
Now there is so much fun bashing this rc car even if the electronics system is still stock ( 550 Brushed motor & 60A ESC).

what size wheel adapter would you suggest for the 124018?
Just curious as to whether you have tried 104001 wheels on the 124018? I’m thinking of getting a set of LC racing truggy wheels for mine (deep offset looks to give stability aswell as the additional ground clearance)
The rear wheel of 104001 wont fit, so I didnt use them
Even on a brushless A959, the A979B wheels cracked after a few hours of hard bashing.. I can't imagine these soft nylon wheels lasting long on a 124018 if you drive even remotely hard :/
These wheels are very cheap, so I also dont expect them to last very on hard bashing ... anyways, these tires are still ok for me since I dont bash my rc car that hard.
@@RcModwerks23 Yep, you could just buy a bunch of these and replace a wheel if it breaks! That's what I did for a while, too. :-)
how to convert 7mm hex wheels on a 12mm hex wheel??
There is NO Conversion required, just use the appropriate hex for your tire

I have seen people use 3s lipo but Im not sure if it will last long
In some video i see,3s is not recomended in 124018.maybe heating issue.thank you rply my comment.✌👍

Yes, you only need to get 7 mm Hexes to fit these tires from A979

Rip diffs
The diffs are still ok until now since Im only running it with 2s lipo ... the diffs dont last long if you bash it with 3s lipo
