Most signs say he's a Duke lock but.. The fact that he didn't commit on his visit, should make Duke just a little nervous, whether on an official or unofficial. His mother shut down those rumors of him going to Duke really fast, the article came out the other day which really surprised me. He's a New England kid, deep tied roots from his parents being ball players and all that. Cooper himself has openly expressed how much he loves living and playing in NE, means the world to him and his parents. Not trying to rile anyone up or stir the pot and instigate, so please don't anyone take this the wrong way. I love having discussions about college ball and recruits etc.. But I'd be on the lookout for UConn. Of all the schools recruiting this kid that Duke should be worried about, it should UConn. At this point, they just won #5 and defending champs and recruiting now just as good as any school in the country. There's nothing Duke can offer better than UConn right now. The kicker is, Coopers mom and Clingan's mom (UConn big man) were friends, teammates and roommates and she quoted and shut down Cooper to Duke rumors really fast. This is going to be a fun back and forth between these two schools. I, myself believe it's down to UConn and Duke for Cooper. Can't wait to see how this plays out.
Thanks for the great insight on Cooper Flagg Isaac. As for anybody voicing the idea that Boozer and Flagg couldn’t coexist, that is utterly asinine. In fact, those individuals should have their opinions completely revoked. Those two kids playing together would be absolutely great for both of them. You couldn’t ask for a better scenario. Both are willing passers and playmakers, so they will bolster each others stats. It makes the game come easier and relieves the pressure off each other because you can’t double both of them. They could have a special year if they came together. I’m just not a big fan of Cooper coming early unless Duke absolutely needed him to come. He hasn’t impressed me with his defense. This is a case where if you look at stats rather than film you will have a distorted understanding. The blocks he is getting just isn’t the caliber of competition he will face in college. He’s still only 16 so no worries. But defense in high school and defense in college are on different solar systems.
Just get that Nike money ready... and send him to a Nike camp... where Nike promotes their schools... Duke, UConn, Kentucky, and Oregon... but mostly Duke.
@@cliftonsnow6354 there was a report Cooper and him were playing 1v1 at the Jayson Tatum elite camp. Cooper apparently started giving him buckets and talking smack while doing it

If I'm cooper I'm going to Duke..perfect fit
Flagg to UConn
You could be looking at a three peat Mr. Cooper Flagg and doing it in front of family. UConn is family for life. Be Blue my friends, Go Huskies!!!!!
Cooper should reclassify and replace Flip when he leaves after this year.
It's a good pickup if you can trade him for dame in the future.
Good one
