Wow. Finally someone who knows what he's doing and can relay that knowledge with excellent videography so we can all follow along. Well done..

It is easier to just put the test light on the positive battery post and test those glow plug wires individually if it lights up your good if not most likely it is bad but check for continuity at each wire to make sure.

Liked how you explain everything in great details. Yet I'm stuck here with ECM B fuse keeps blowing, cranks over, have fuel, won't start up, and lost communication with my TCM and ECM

Could you do a video on the other wires in the center connector on the controller? I would to know about the feed back wire in relation to the truck starting or not starting depending on what it sees for voltages. Also the yellow wire ,what does that actually do for a function?

Thanks for this video! - One question - on my truck, all but the number 5 glow plug read under 1 ohm, however, the number 5 glow plug shows no change on meter. You are showing that a high meter reading indicates a bad plug. What does it mean when there is no change? Would that be a broken connection between the controller and the glow plug? i.e. bad connection or broken wire or is this, also, an indication of a bad glow plug? TIA!

If it's truly reading 0 ohm, that means there is a short circuit in the wiring to that glow plug or the glow plug has short circuited internally. This is very, very rare. What's most likely happening is your ohmmeter is reading "OL" or something like that, which means Open Loop. Open Loop mean infinite resistance (no connection at all). Either way, if the rest of the glow plugs ae reading between .5 ohm to 1.0 ohms, you can assume either the #5 glow plug is fault or the wiring to that glow plug is faulty. Do the same resistance check directly on the glow plug's threaded post. If you're still getting a reading that's out of spec, the glow plug is bad. If testing directly at the glow plug shows now shows a good reading, then there's a problem in the wiring between the glow plug to the controller.

Question, so on one side of my truck I get , .6 , .6 , .6 , .4 , other side I get .4 , .5, .4 , .5. On ohm setting and negative terminal removed , when I did the amp clamp I got 0 on all of them and both neg and pos terminals on .
I can’t believe their all broken ! Could I have done something wrong ?
My feed back voltage was 1.923
