Been watching a lot of videos on quail cages over the past few weeks, really like your design. I was thinking about making them back to back like yours due to worry of it tipping over in the wind, I live on top of a ridge. Your idea of making it moveable is fantastic! I’m definitely going to base my design on yours. Very nice job! I do believe yours is the ultimate design.
I like your idea of the wheels. Your design is sweet I think I’m gonna copy that design if you don’t mind. I built my first one from cortunix Corner design with the egg rollout, that one will be in mud room. But I like your tractor idea as well. Great video once again! Thank you
@@TheHandsOnChannel My cage will be indoors but I like your idea of having the meat birds outside I would definitely build something similar to what you have I think it’s a great design to get a fine job on it
The pen I have I put a sand box in it . Mine are young and just starting laying and so far the three eggs have been in the sand box . So when I build my next one it will have sand boxes in it . And they love the dust bath
I follow your design and only made minor changes. 48 inches wide by 60 inches deep. I also made for rear shelter With a 3 inch deep sandbox. I like your idea of the wheels and I think I'm gonna end up putting some on. I did run electric advancing around the bottom of the legs. Because I have Three dogs that are Real curious. Thanks again for showing us your design. I think I'm gonna build a second one as well. God bless your brother appreciate your videos
I have chickens for eggs as well and am interested in growing quail. I love your hutch design because it looks lightweight enough for a senior to move around as needed.
Great video. We live in an HOA and have a few chickens, some rabbits and just hatched our first batch of quail. Gonna show your cage design to hubby. Some people think I’m crazy. I say crazy like a fox😜.
10:55 Woah there! Those are some dangerous words! You should be careful saying stuff like that these days! 😂 Next thing you know the FBI is gonna be knocking on that door of yours
This looks really good 👍!
Like the idea very much
Looks great. You did a really good job building it.

Go for it! I thought about the egg roll out design but I was worried snakes or rodents might be able to get in.

Nice cage. And good to see your other meat stock set up.
Thanks!
Nice build on the quail hutch, looks great. Russell Crow is a great name for a rooster. Thanks for sharing and hope you have a blessed day.
Really great design! Nicely done on the wood and tin recycling ! Who knew a half double on wheels could be so awesome!

That is an awesome build.great job
Use your bunny droppings, no need to cool it off or anything.
Thank you. I've been adding it to the garden, hope it supercharges our crops this year.
Very ingenious upgrades. We'll be building one very similar when the weather warms up.
Really enjoyed this video

I like your cage design.
Wow. Great design.
I have a bunch of old fence boards I'm going to use to make this. Or try to al least. Lol
Would be great if you had some measurements.I would love to build that.Exact cage set up
Nice-looking cage now you got to fill with bird's.🌎🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🙏🙏
Thanks, they're hatching right now. We are very excited.
Great job!
Thanks!
Curious about if you experienced any significant flexing of the 1x2's on the 6' length when you had it loaded with birds?
Where did you buy the hinges? What kind of pallets do you have for this project?
How did the hatch go? Update to see food and water system?
How is it working out for you?
If my life depends on having a few birds in the backyard I'm screwed. Lol
But yeah, I have 14 quail and they are very low maintenance

Couldn’t raccoons get in those simple latches?
Not so far but we have it inside a fenced in backyard that our dog patrols.
Looks great 👍 good luck.
