Yooo that's sick, also it is crazy how we can actually learn skills and how to do stuff for free, all the information is on the internet, just gotta have some free time and dedication. Came out awesome!
I tested the day version of the game! Really cool so far, I like the controls and basically everything! Graphics are fine even on lowest settings. Its just amazing testing out every part of the map after seeing you building all this by yourself throughout this beautiful instructive series! I hope you continue this project and update the game because it has much potential for sure and I, as well as others would all like to see some more of your creations fs!
A visual note - It would be extremely nice if there were visual cues on the track for the jumps or sections were you basically need to "know" the next section and can't really see it until it's too late. Example being the white pipe - in the exit it would be cool to have some track lines at the exit. Other than that - I randomly stumbled on these videos and just wanted to congratulate you on it. Amazing job and I definitely see a potential for expanding this. :)
Really happy for you that you managed to overcome those tiny really annoying problems! The game looks really good and the graphics are outstanding. I would love to see you put even more work into this and even work with other people to bring some creativity and some new ideas. This has the potential of trackMania maybe even better, keep up the great work !❤
Good job finishing your first game! I'm currently studying game development and making my own games so it's really cool to see you doing the same stuff on your channel :D
The project looks like what the latest hotwheels game should've been like. Looks like a ton of fun! I'm currently working on my own game as well and was trying to figure out a similar time record keeping thing but just couldn't figure it out so now I've been re-making the game in Unity and it's gone pretty smoothly overall! Just have to add a few tweaks and menu things but hopefully should have something playable soon. I hope your game does well and many people play it!
This looks insane and I’ve never seen a UA-camr do something like this and actually spend months learning how to code and model from scratch. You are the definition of inconceivable! Insane stuff you have accomplished. Well done! Is this available on mobile?
@@Hazardous heyy, make it for mobile and add multiplayer. Or sell it to a company and let them do it. (Idk if it works like that lol) At least i would be veryyy happy if that can happen
I just want to say that I love your content I have been watching your videos since the OG Q&A funday's when I was in high school and to see how you have grown within UA-cam is amazing, keep up the great work my dude.
Bro that’s awesome. I have been waiting patiently and finally after hours of work from you we finally have this AMAZING game and we can even play it. This game is gonna be sick.
i just discovered this channel tday and i fricking love this idea plas keep on working on it i would love to play this game and seeing it rise and get updates in the future! keep up the good work!!!
hats off bro i downloaded the game and it was really fun and the mechanics were something else the point that we all play games is to have fun and feel good and this game really made my day
This is super cool. One suggestion I would add for the Settings menu is a screen shot of how each of the settings effect image quality on the right side of the screen. That way people can see what they're changing and how it changes. Plus a small explanation of each effect underneath the image showing what each of them are and how impactful they are on performance. This could help people know what each setting is worth turning on or not and how to easily tune in their performance.
i haven’t watched a vid ina long time and comin back to see this is just freakin awesome fr, the game looks sick can’t wait to what else you do with it
Super cool for a first go! One thing about racing games that really helps with the sense of speed are props or details that whizz past, so having something like dashed lines or some sort of design on the guardrails or floor would go a long way in helping the player tell how fast they're driving. Smooth materials aren't so great for that.
I downloaded Apex Rush, the game is insane, i love it, knowing that apart from amazing videos you are a game creator is insane, i hope we can get updates on the game because i love it!
Awesome update! If you use UDS you can add a flip switch on the Menu to go to night mode, unless of course you have a lot of other customization done to the map for night time versus day time! For FMod Studio I can help if you are stuck, it is relatively easy to put in place although it looks scary at first alright! EDIT: you have Ray traced shadows enabled and AMD RX 6/7XXX users cant play this unless the shadows setting is on low (its a bug in AMD Drivers for RT)
Been keeping up with this mini series. Can't believe I missed the last one! This is amazing dude. Edit: It would be so cool if you kept working on this series! Some really awesome additions would be a custom track builder for the players, and if you could add a photo mode to the pause screen. (Also if you turned this into a mobile app that would actually be crazy)
I feel so dumb, I watched the few last videos that you post and I really liked them and you reminded me of some dude that made GTA V stunt videos a few years back, I was so surprised to find out you're the same person ahaha Feels good to know you're keeping up with the great content!
Congrats on the launch!~ I wish you luck with bugs that may pop up on different operating systems. For the timer, I think your approach is about right. Really, tracking the difference from one point to another is just… saving the time at one point, then later subtracting the saved time from the current time: Checkpoint1 = getTime() then later… Checkpoint2 = getTime() Split = Checkpoint2 - Checkpoint1 For game *engines* you can usually trust yourself with arithmetic like that unless the creator of a component overwrote the meaning of a math symbol lol (don’t worry about that for now though) Great work!~
this looks absolutely amazing and I will be giving it a go, and what a bummer that the controller support bugged out because keyboard + racing game isn't that good tbh. but I will still be givin it a go. but whenever you manages to fix the controller support am I sure that this game will be pretty damn fun as it stands right now and the potential is insane. I really hope you will keep working on this one and it might become my future go to racing game.
Using the Hyundai 76 was a good choice such a good looking car. You could use a engine sound from engine simulator which imo uses dam near identical car sounds
You came a long way great job to see some new developers Also adding in controler support can be setup within 5 minutes But if u made it in unreal engine 5.1 or above its a little more work because here the changed the way inputs are done
i think you should add a tuning section for players to find their comfortable setting and its gives me track mania vibes but overall this looks amazing and i hope to see this game be talked about in the later future
I found out that for the 2nd check point after the big jump, once you respawn there, you can just hold forward the whole time through the tunnel and dodge all of the obstacles with ease. You only have to slightly adjust yourself at the very end to land on the platform, thought this would be helpful for you and players.

Yeah "used some references" that's basically N76 with a huge wing and no fenders :D
+ full body kit, roll cage, and an engine xD (N74 is electric/hydrogen)

yeah this is looking hella good. You should consider adding more customization and maybe a map maker where people could make their own tracks.
I started watching you at those gta v challenges and q&a's era and now you made your own game..
thx for the game!!! A little smart move would be to add a workshop for the game so you can have stunting maps and other stuff from the community
