First and,Thanks for making Apex rush,Because i Like Games that you can race and learn racing so Tysm for making the game!
would you share your drift controller ?
if you put it on ps4 i would buy it for $100
@@RealNoobmaster It's taken a lot of time and effort to make it, so I can't just give that up for free :) It's all made with Chaos though, just watch a lot of guides, read up on how physics work on real cars and transfer that to the code. It takes a lot of trial and error, and the setup I have would most likely not work with your car/game.
@@Hazardoushey will the drifting have assists because you said it will be easy and arcady, would it be possible to add a harder drifting mode like with assetto corsa with its counter steering. it might not be possible as it looks hard to make
6 months and made so much progress well done bro 👍
200th like!
This is really starting to give me major Trackmania vibes, and tbh? Keep it going, because it's amazing
Huge props, can't wait for what future will bring with it!
I’ll take that as a big compliment! Trying to make it bit unique, handling is completely physics based which is a big difference from Trackmania :)
@@Hazardous It is! The approach for physics based instead of the deterministic from Trackmania might push players into becoming better at driving instead of patterns which is the current Trackmania meta
It isn't bad but quite optimizes away the fun, the physics-based preserves it because you never can 100% be sure about what the car will be doing, so you rely on your own skills which turns to be much more satisfying at the end
Your map editor already might be better than Trackmania's, idea of adding connected close blocks higher or lower surely makes it so much easier
brother my pc my is low end ha but my dream is becoming a game developer can you help me some! plss @@Hazardous
Its taking a lot more for "professional" developers to make a game that good, just shows your passion and commitment to the game
I mean, this is literally trackmania with a different skin
Wow! This looks so much better than the first original playtest. Loving the new UI and the new map looks really good. At this rate you will become a full time games developer haha. Keep up the amazing work as always 🔥
Thanks! It's miles better, the handling is actually responsive in this one haha :D
@@Hazardoushey, can you make a mobile version of this.
@@sebastianeleisonstenli2660It's gonna take more than 6 months to make a mobile version

Haven’t even seen a minute and I love it.

This looks so cool! Cant wait for the full release
Insane progress! Great to see you so invested in this project :D
Now this is a game that's a very rare gem you cant find anywhere. Lot's of potential cant wait for the full game to release!
This Game is just so amazing. I am extremely impressed as an Unreal Engine Game Developer myself to see how much you have improved :)
thank you, appreciate it!
@@Hazardous No problem :)
i definitly think when you get the exaust sounds better the echo in the cave would sound so good. i also think that there should be a slider for how loud people want the echo to be in the cave section. game looks amazing man im gonna try it rn.
i have played this game first when you announced it, and since then, i almost don't recognize it no more, its just amazing how far have you came, and the fact that you listen to your community and add their ideas is just something else man, i proud of your work, keep it up ❤❤❤
i used to watch u a ton back in 2015 and seeing that ure into gamedev now is very cool to see, im hyped for the following updates. keep it up
Wow, so cool!
I'd recommend increasing the kerning a bit (space between the letters) as some people might struggle to read what it says if they have worse eye-sight.
Good job on the game!
personally i would make it a setting, so people who cant read very well can turn it on (or increase it), and people who dont can have it off
amazing progress im downloading the play test right now good job looks amazing
bro only six months have passed and this is already looking like it took 3 years of hard development u ve done so much this game is awesome just continue and 1 day it ll grow to true masterpiece i really like the concept !! keep it up !!
It's so cool how you started this project with 0 knowledge about game creation, and now you have this amazing game for us, keep going! This man proves that anything is achievable if you set your mind to it and just commit:)
Maybe on parts where its required for the player to slow down, you can remove the fence around the path so if they dont slow down they fall down? It would make it harder for sure.
If he does it, it should be an optional feature
@@jacksonbuck888 something like different difficulties?
This is such an entertaining series, keep up the good work
So proud of u Eric been watching for a super long time and its amazing to see how far you have come mate, this game looks very good im very impressed ML bro.
This gives me vibes of Trackmania Sunrise and Trackmania 2 Canyon (in my opinion 2 of the best trackmania games), but the important thing is that the physics looks completely different, so, Trackmania vibes + unique physics = winner combination. Keep going, this looks promising!
When you first started this project I was super critical of it; but now that it's starting to take shape, this is looking good. Nicely done.
Been following the whole way, youre amazing man. Love it.
Just tried the game for the first time so smooth high fps no matter what. Cant imagine what the game will be like when it comes out! 💯
Awesome to hear!
it is free or not ?
Some features are free and some are paid. While installation is completely free
Bro you're actually awesome, I started game-dev like around 10 months ago and I've been working on my game that I am currently working on for over 9 months and it isn't NEARLY as good as this game, that's some serious dedication man!
Wow, I’m so impressed ! Can’t wait for the finish product ❤️
Honestly beyond impressed bro! You're killing it :) totally breathes inspiration in me, thanks for that!
#1hourclub !!! Thank you SO much for all these excellent videos! I love you so much Haz ❤
adding a little camera shake and those air tides when going fast would make this even better, love the great work I hope you goodluck on your journey!
Crazy that 6 months have already passed
I really wish that someday in the future this will be a full Game available for all major gaming devices. Keep up the great work!
now i am inspired because you didn't know anything about game dev and you made this i might try to make game in future, keep up good work man
First time I have found a vid from you. Huge respect, it looks super cool and with steam workshop support it can actually have a community. Which is missing from so many games today. The drifting looks surprisingly good, its super hard for games to make drifting looks smooth. As far as the drifting points, if you watch a formula drift event you will see there are boxes on the ground called zones and the more you stay in the zone the more points you get. You could also add the clipping points like you were talking about and it could be a pretty cool system
You've made alot of progress man, this is awesome. Keep up the good work! :)
This has gotten really good, congrats.
It just keeps getting better and better!
I'm amazed how quickly you've learnt. I can't wait to play the full game. You could add a finish camera to the track builder so that the level creator can choose what the player sees when they finish the race, and the camera slow motion speed.
Damn, was watching your stunt Videos like 9 years ago and just randomly stumbled over your dev video. I want to get into game dev too and was surprised to see you doing game dev. Just got a wave of nostalgia thinking back about your videos :D
Now I need to search for my signature I got from you back in the days :D
This is sick, 100% going to follow the rest of your development!
Idea: make it work with racing wheel, gear shifter and pedals setup
The physics looks sick!
Hey Hazardous , Great Job Brotha Keep up tha hardwork . The game is fricking awesome . I think there are 2 things you should work on , Car sounds . Like now even if the car is in 200kph it dosent feel like it ifyk what i mean . And I think you should add Multiplayer . Where we create our own private lobbies and play with our friends . That be pretty sick . Great work going on bro keep it up
I love it!! good job the game is comming out amazingly, u should be more succeseful!
This is actually amazing, and its only been 6 months wow im impressed
Congrats ! I love your channel, keep it up =D
Been here since the start of this project. Looks sick!!!
It's crazy how a youtuber with zero experience made better drifting physics than NFS team full of experienced people. Congrats and keep it going!
man this is actually so good, well done bro
It looks really cool. You should be proud of yourself!
Fr this looks like the best graphics looking game
this is so awesome, would love to see this released on Ps4, Ps5, Xbox, Nintendo switch, Etc
this is slowly reminding me more and more of Trackmania, and im all for it
i was watching your video since you started making this game keep it up
Bro after this game is complete this is gonna be a banger!
I just played this game for the first time and there are 2 things I want to address.
1. I want to be able to corner better at high speeds. This car goes really fast and I just want to go fast in the turns. I always needed to slow down a lot when making some turns. Slowing down a little makes sense, but not this much in an arcade racer.
2. The pitch and yaw should also be bound to the arrow keys. I don't like using one finger (The little one) for both buttons.
This is awesome! It looks like trackmania but better in a way.!
It's amazing to see all this progress considering that you were new to unreal 6 months ago! Well done man
Honestly amazing work! You’re setting such high expectations for indie game developers 😂❤️ keep on creating and make sure to have enough breaks so you don’t experience any burnouts
Bro that is sick, great job! I'm working on an FPS in Unreal too! Keep up the great work! Love it, I'm gonna play test it.
This will be a great Trackmania competitor, good job!
Im so shocked with the before and after results keep up the work bro 🤟
You are so Talented!! 🔥
Cool stuff. Cant wait to see a release to the public for some content driven competitions.
😍I love what you have done so far
Cant wait for the full game 👀
A point system would problably fit reaallyy great in this game.
Great work!
Wow ... I am seeing you for the first time , so i don't know with what experience you've started , but this is amazing! Keep going with improvements and I'll definitely play this game once you've released it.
Thanks! 🙌🏼 more to share soon.
Looks great man! I think it would be so cool if the tracks use more of the world around them. Now it just feels like a backdrop on some maps, and it would be better if the tracks are really part of the map in my opinion. Just a thought :)
This is such a great project, looks amazing and the passion is very nice to see :) For the engine sounds, there is a guy who made his own software that simulates an engine, which also outputs simulated sound based off of real physics. He is currently working with an electronic motorbike company to implement it into the bikes. I was thinking it may be possible to use that software with the help of the creator to maybe implement some really nice engine noise into your game. The only issue I see is that the software runs on many thousands of frames so I am not sure how you would implement it, but it is a cool idea. It would be so fun to see 2 great projects get put into 1. The youtube channel AngeTheGreat covers everything he has done with it and also has the software free to download somewhere in the description. Good luck for the future development of the game.
cant wait for some more dynamic environments, the cave is great and will be awesome to see some water based environments, swampy, jungle, ect having also objects/tracks that suite the environment would be epic. maybe even rally stages as well? haha Great game, great vid.
So much dedication ❤❤
This reminds me of trackmania turbo. Cant wait for the future of this game man!
I cant wait for this fast paced game sounds fun
This just shows how long it takes to make good games looks beautiful btw❤
dude, I've been here since day one, I can't believe you came from no programming knowledge to this, huge respect man
Something that in my opinion would be pretty cool is a checkpoint like thing that changes the car you use to the drift car, so that you can try both cars even if you only play the time attack part, it also helps in adding variety to the gameplay and for those who will compete for the fastest times adds another layer of skill.
man i wish i had dedication like this, i work on projects like for a week and then abandon them :d days ago i started working on vehicle physics and i hope i will finish it as a full game
This proves you can do anything, if you have dedication.
As TMNF(Trackmania Nations Forever in short) player. Landing bug came from Trackmania Nations Forever. Now in previous Apex Rush build. I see now why this bug is now both. Great job on working 8 month! (Ima give a try because I never tried it)
Congrats mate!!
Congrats man!! 🙌🔥💪(15 for it is chill price tbf btw!)
Id like to say that a really good engine sound can be really impactful to the game and its feel
Bro you’re bringing back Rush2049 vibes. Please keep working on this!
Downloading it right now, looks good!
from gamer to vlogger to musician to game developer. ( multi-talented guy )
I like the addition of the cave a lot, the rest of the track still feels very disconnected from the terrain though, I suggest maybe having a straight going through a very narrow canyon section or something like that
that game is so cool well done bro
HYPE TO PLAY
seems like an arcade-type version of trackmania but i think thats something which is appealing to me even as a trackmania player i would love to play both
Really great work tks a lot😊❤
Awesome progress! You should add booster and slow down pads.
cant wait to try it out
This will probably be the next TrackMania! Looks awesome! 😁👍
looking great. Looks like you have taken inspiration from Trackmania. For the drifting are you trying to make it like carx? Would be sick if you would add some special abilitys. I think you should add an offroad part in the game and some crash physics like BeamNG. Keep up the good work. Looks amazing.
Slowmo is available with keybind, but might add some fun effects later on! Was thinking a launchpad could be cool to try
New Episode! Hyped
The next Trackmania, good job
I’m really looking forward to play this, it looks like a different version of Trackmania. So I’m very excited!!
Really proud of you dude, been following this project since day 1 and you’ve really given it everything you have, and it shows! Cant wait for more. Unfortunately I don’t have a PC to play it but I’d gladly pay $20 for this if not more!
You should add dirt, sand and other textured tracks for different environments. Would def help with the track builder and just think would make the game a lot better. Amazing progress tho!
Sweet! Make it so that when the player goes through the cave, they turn the head light on!
