Progress on the life-size clay of Queen Elizabeth II. A wonderful commission from Test Valley Borough Council. Getting into the detail and character of her face, the Regalia which includes the Imperial State Crown. I have also been making big changes to the Robe of State. I am slightly adapting it as soon I will be inscribing lots of pictorial elements inspired by workshops in the local community to reflect her 70 year reign. I have hung many of the mini canvases painted by the local community, on the wall behind. They make for a vibrant display. This piece once cast in bronze, will be sited in central Andover.
