Installation of the Gurkha Memorial bronze, Aldershot. ITV News Meridian, Monday 20th September 2021

Amy Goodman has sculpted a bronze Gurkha Memorial statue commissioned by the Greater Rushmoor Nepali community in Aldershot. This commemorative statue captures the moment when first Gurkha V.C, Kulbir Thapa rescues a British Tommy from the Leicestershire regiment, off the battlefield on 25th September 1915. Here it is being installed in Princes Gardens, Aldershot.
