This looks worse than the Smart Fortwo crashtest. The crash would have been half as bad, if the crossmember covered the whole front. But there's just nothing to deflect the crash forces.
The Fiesta has a strong body, but this test bypasses the frontal safety structure, and hits where it hurts the most. Auch!
Rune Pedersen this was also 56mph
It’s rated the most unsafe car in the world btw
No it does not
Do you have a crash test video of this particular crash of a Ford Focus 2013 or newer I am comparing cars
Would this be equivalent to a car crashing into a deformable barrier, at the same angle and overlap? In the way that the car would move towards the deformable barrier, not the other way around.
Think it depends of the weight of the moving "sled" that hits the car, and thereby the total energy in the crash.
a car would perform worse in that scenario its meant to represent a pick up hit the car at around 100 kmh / 60 mph with a 20 percent overlap and 7 percent angle
Got this test for the A3 or A4?
which year?
I dont think its a fiesta anymore
The Koons sticker on the back. But for real, it did pretty poorly
