Well done Marina! Big shout out to our ethnic stores - Bistak, Safari and Royal African stores! They help our west African and Caribbean new comers settle down in Saskatoon 👍🏾👍🏾
Anyway, I am the second to comment! Not that bad 😁 You look hot! Yea, we have Costco in the Uk too! Saves money while buying in bulk. I think your Dolarama is our pounds stretcher. People need to subscribe 😁
Looking super smashing! No wound us oh 😁 And so true...Costco is my go to monthly, and Superstore(the points system is bae) Dollarama...hei, the day I discovered Dollarama, I became mad at Walmart. I got the things with SAME quality at 3-4 times less the price at Walmart. Dollar Tree is even much better price wise(I underrated Dollar Tree in Canada because Dollar Tree as I know it in the US don't carry much items). Value village is great, next to new things but I find that Facebook market place has more variety and I'm able to get these stuff at very great prices depending on bargains.
We have Sam's club here, and it still surprises me that people don't buy in bulk, it saves a lot. I used to under-rate our dollar tree stores here, till I bought the same foil paper for half the price there, I have learnt to stop buying certain things in other stores most especially disposable items. Walmart is love and hate for me, for household yes, for pasta yes, but for veggies they are expensive because they don't carry local produce from farmers around. But every other things they are reasonable priced! I will look for something similar to village value store, cos I don't know if we have that here.
Bulk purchase is my middle name ( something I picked up from childhood) I love all the stores you mentioned. They all have there individual benefits.weldone babe.
Nice information and topic. Walmart is reasonable priced. Costco isn’t so much for students since they sell in bulks. VV (value village) is also good. Sometimes their things are new.
Costco for president 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 Dollarama is really underrated sha!! Dollar tree also is underrated as well!! First time I went to dollar tree I was amazed! My. Eyes kept popping out.😂😂
Walmart is reasonably prized. Also important are Apps like Flipp where you can price match items and save lots of money. I wish I knew about it when I first landed Canada.
A very useful information, thank you for taking time out to do this @marina but wish you could compile video with short clips of these places,it wld be nice. Thank you.
Walmart is a love-hate relationship. I think that it is indeed “great value” and you can stretch your dollars. But superstore trumps Walmart for veggies quality. Also, 99c eating starch at superstore for my Delta people 👌🏿 Dollarama great for kitchen and home organization. Value village did help out in my first year especially for kids clothes, and their kitchen items too are also good because you can get high quality items for cheappppp and you can donate your own stuff as well. My money never complete reach for co-op 😂🤣😂 I wonder if these top 5 stores would be different for our east coast peeps 🤔
Totally agree with you. Lol @ my money nor complete for co-op. I like the perks of co-op, just got my rebate cheque and i am smiling. I think co-op will be the different one for the east coast, maybe there are other stores designed with the same model; just not the same name.
Walmart is percet for toilet supplies and decor, even some kitchen stuff too. Dollar Rama is dollar tree for us in the US and it is very underrated!!!!
Even in uk Costco is bae like Costco is very good for bulk essentials you are so right 👌👌👌...I think dollar Rama is the one pound shop in our side and they are quite essential everything dey there..same I wonder why people don’t shop there o ... Walmart too is quite good 👌
This is a great video. It would help a lot of people in Canada and those of us hoping to join soon. See me taking notes too. Well, let's keep fingers crossed. Thanks a zillion for sharing.
Sis Marina first of all you are glowing..haircut so beautiful, then I have relaxed to listen cos I know I will learn something.😊.the Nigerian in me had to go register in Costco as soon as we relocated to the uk.because buying in bulk saves me a tons!this is my first time of hearing dolarama, value village not sure there is one in the uk.will check it out! As always I enjoyed this video and learnt something as well👌.
Costco is good but I wouldn't really recommend Costco except when you buy loads of things or if you have a family. As a single person, Costco might end up being so expensive for you.
We have pound store over here which is similar to ur dollarama. We have Asda in the UK which is similar to wal mart. I like Walmart when I visit the state
I think Walmart is okay for house hold things and pretty much every other thing but food. But when it comes to food, I feel superstore has better pricing for that. Dollarama is good for certain things too but I've discovered that dollar tree is even cheaper. Everything in dollar tree is $1.25 So if you're looking for the cheapest items, dollar tree is your friend.
Hello Marina, your program has been amazing since my family and I have been washing you. Please how can I talk to you about my Daughter's Master's program in Saskatchewan university?
Hie Marina... l enjoy your videos, very informative and sincere.. l feel like you're a friend.. we're also in the process of coming to Canada, my husband and l. From South Africa. Tell me, why did you choose Saskatoon?
@@MARINAESIRI can you please tell about the different banks, mobile connections, internet connections and your choice in each of them please, sorry to keep adding different topics. You are doing a great job, so wanted to know your opinion in these topics.
I’ve never been to value village, I even heard of it , before I even migrated 😂😂 but I still haven’t been there. The superstore is bae 😍😍 first time I was there I was overwhelmed 😂😂 I had to leave Cos it swept me off my feet! I told myself that I will be back. and I did go back 😂😂. I should make this video for my own channel too!! Thanks for inspiring my next Canada video 😁😁
The $60 - $120 is for registration to even allow you shop there. You definitely pay for your stuff. Only that being a member gives you access to great deals and some benefits.
I’ve just started to watch her and I’m already in love with her energetic personality.
Thank you very much.
Watching your videos all the way from Jamaica. You mentioned my Country I had to comment. Love your necklace and how it compliments everything.
I have a soft spot for Jamaica. I have worked with amazing Jamaicans and I look forward to visiting someday. Thank you very much
Loving your videos from Jamaica, I am just waiting on my credentials assessment to start my migration process to Saskatchewan. 😊

Anyway, I am the second to comment! Not that bad 😁 You look hot! Yea, we have Costco in the Uk too! Saves money while buying in bulk. I think your Dolarama is our pounds stretcher. People need to subscribe 😁

I agree for households, Walmart is bae. In Houston, I prefer shopping for fruits in HEB than Walmart. Very well done. Great job Marina.
I prefer the fruits from the Co-OP stores here. The quality is amazing. Thank you very much😊
Looking lovely , thanks for the info I always look forward to your videos .

Nice information and topic. Walmart is reasonable priced. Costco isn’t so much for students since they sell in bulks. VV (value village) is also good. Sometimes their things are new.
That's true. Students may have a hard time buying everything from costco because of space and the quantity. Thanks for watching😊
Ahn ahn!! The energy in this video is on another level oo
And the hair cut 😍😍
Thank you very much😊💃
Costco for president 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
Dollarama is really underrated sha!!
Dollar tree also is underrated as well!!
First time I went to dollar tree I was amazed! My. Eyes kept popping out.😂😂
I agree. I will vote 😀 yes, those two are grossly underrated.
Walmart is reasonably prized. Also important are Apps like Flipp where you can price match items and save lots of money. I wish I knew about it when I first landed Canada.
Thank you very much😊
A very useful information, thank you for taking time out to do this @marina but wish you could compile video with short clips of these places,it wld be nice. Thank you.
I featured two of the stores in my last vlog. I will feature the others as I go.
I AM FIRST❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ I cannot believe this
Naaaaaa! This is not happening again.

@daniella lol, let's not fight please, haha.

From the comments, it seems the one pound shop is the dollarama equivalent in the UK. Thank you so much 🤗
Costco is good but I wouldn't really recommend Costco except when you buy loads of things or if you have a family.
As a single person, Costco might end up being so expensive for you.
That's true. Better off when it is for a family😊
Costco is the ultimate, i love bulk shopping. I also love thrifted item, honestly I find items with tags.
Oh yes, that feeling of buying brand new for cheap is fun😀
We have pound store over here which is similar to ur dollarama.
We have Asda in the UK which is similar to wal mart.
I like Walmart when I visit the state
Oh yea, I think I have been in a one pound shop with my sister-in-law. Nice! Thanks for watching

This is most appreciated Marina.

Welcome aboard! I look forward to that as well

Dollarama is good for certain things too but I've discovered that dollar tree is even cheaper. Everything in dollar tree is $1.25
So if you're looking for the cheapest items, dollar tree is your friend.
Yep, agree. Dollarama carries some things that dollar tree doesnt. That the advantage it has over dollar tree.
MARINA ESIRI very true
Chai! We have been following you since 1900😀😀
Thanks dear Marina. How about No Frills
Most Canadians always mentioned dollarama, I guess that is similar to our family dollar here in the US.
I guess so. Thanks sis😊
You always kill itb❤️
Thank you very much😊
I am guessing dollarama is our dollar tree. Do you guys have Sam's club? I like costco and walmart
No, i don't think we have Sam's club in Saskatoon. Is it like a wholesale store?
Yes I agree, Super store is a great place to shop for Groceries......Savings is a big deal abeg!
I love superstore 😊
Dollarama is underated tbh
Right? Totally underrated
I agree.
I love Walmart and superstore and in my opinion as well, walmart's prices are very reasonable
Thank you very much.

Pls talk about ,the food stuff we can bring from Nigeria and the ones we can't bring ,thanks
Will make a video on that
Yes am interested in that too.
Over here, Costco is best for families and people that have storage in their home
That is a fact😊
Felt so too. I'm sharing a flat and of course storage space, buying in bulk isn't for me.
Neckpiece on fleek
You even take 2 seats. Finally the life no balance.
daniella oku 😂😂😂😂
Thanks Mirabel 😊
@Daniella 😀😀
I’ve never been to value village, I even heard of it , before I even migrated 😂😂 but I still haven’t been there.
The superstore is bae 😍😍 first time I was there I was overwhelmed 😂😂

Make a different one pls and don't copy
For the first one,
If you pay $60-$120,
Will you still need to pay when you are buying stuffs from them?
Just asking though.
The $60 - $120 is for registration to even allow you shop there. You definitely pay for your stuff. Only that being a member gives you access to great deals and some benefits.
The way I'm saving every video ehn someone will think my passport is already stamped 🤣
