@@donnalawrence9054 raw meat, organs, and blood is the most nutritious food on earth. This channel is bs. All they say is - this is good that is good but dont explain nothing. Veganism is death. Plants dont have bunch of nutrients that we need and they are full of toxins and ofcourse pesticides too if you get ur stuff from grocery stores... The reason why most of the society is vitamin D, B12 etc deficient is because they eat mostly plants or cooked (destroyed) meat.

I'm in Italy now and I grew up in Japan. There is a huge difference between being a vegetarian and a mediterranean diet. 11 out of the 12 super centenarians, whom I have met and interviewed in Italy and Japan all ate meat and fish and most importantly cheese. 8 of them were over 110 year olds or there about. The Japanese elders eat a lot of seafood. I also consider Japanese diet mediterranean as well. You can live long as a vegetarian but you can even live longer with a mediterranean diet with animal proteins if you eat organic and restrict the carbs. My grandfather lived to a 107. He died quietly in his sleep without alzheimers or cancer or diabetes. He ate fish, grass fed beef and free range chickens, mushrooms, cheese, with lots of vegetables often doused with extra virgin olive oil. He ate little organic carbs. The only thing he never touched was sugar. He always ate chocolate. But they were homemade, cacao mixed with olive oil and monk fruit and a little xylitol or honey with the comb which was often supplied by our local farmers. He often took some of the dark chocolate for his long walks. His diet was mostly breakfast and lunch during week days or lunch and dinner on weekends. The rest of the time he ate nothing. His diet mostly consisted of all the vitamins mentioned in this video.
@@meech3576 His Chinese friend was supplying the fruit from China. It's also called Luo Han Guo. Monk fruit is like a kiwi except that it cracks like an egg shell. My grandfather always broke the fruit in pieces and soaked the spongy fruit in water to boil into a syrup leaving the seeds. The result was a sweetened syrup. This he oftened used to drink it with moringa teas and used it to mix with raw cacao which he used for chocolates. The fruit was supplied to him not the sweetner.

Most health issues are caused by nutrient deficiencies they don't teach that in corrupt america. That includes mental health issues, chronic headaches issues, breathing issues, balance issues, altimers and dementia and this goes on and on. All because of nutrient deficiencies. You check nutrient levels in your body by blood tests, you almost never hear of drs tell you to check your nutrient levels in america there all about toxic medications and are not fixing the underlying issues. Completely wrong. Pretty much only holistic drs will tell you in america about nutrient deficiencies that are causing health issues. And most nutrient normal levels are wrong in testing your levels in america. They allow very low numbers in "normal"nutrient levels to be a nornal level when your really deficient. So its rigged to keep you sick unless you have a holstic dr look at your nutrient levels in america. Most regular DRs dont know nutrition and when they read your nutrient level is normal and they say everthing is fine when its not. If you're at the low end of normal you're deficient in america. For example in america they let normal b12 level to be as low as 200 that is completely false. In japan the lowest they allow as a normal level is about 550 because you start getting deficiency symptoms of b12 under 600. the reason why japan and nordic countries are the healthiest and happiest countries in the world is because their governments are for them and standard medical care is nutrition first. that means nutrition blood testing and not medication first. food and supplements are medication. Usa is prob the least healthiest country in the world, while nordic countries and japan are the healthiest in the world. example japan has the least amount of dementia and altimers because they have their people check for b12 deficiecies which causes them.

I honesty believe your mindset contributes to half if not more to whether you live a long life. I've known many elders over 80 that eat pork, drink and probably don't pop supplements everyday but are always jolly. My grandfather is 96. He still drinks his Captain Morgan, eats meat and doesn't exercise. His mind is sharp and lives pretty much on his own. Not to say all of those things are important because they are. I exercise, supplement and try to eat healthy but I pay extra attention to my thoughts and spiritual well being.
He still has cataract & I am sure take medication for high blood, cholesteral etc. I am 70+ but not eating any medication. Blood tests every 3 yrs, not necessary to eat any medication. I started eating supplement from age of 40. I am very careful with the food I am eating. Go for morning walk every day. I looked more like in my 50s.
Yes, surprised that miraculous, life enhancing and saving Vitamin C that serves SO many vital functions and which most people are severely deficient in -- was not mentioned.

D3 is literally RAT POISON. All vitamins are made from petroleum. DID YOU KNOW THAT. This is just another smart trick by vitamins big pharma to trick Americans
It all depends on your genes. Many people who smoked and drank , and were sedentary, have lived to be a hundred ; while many others who neither smoked nor drank and exercised regularly have died of a heart attack at very young age. You can never predict what's going to happen, however it's good not to have bad habits. I think the luckiest people are those who have managed to reach the century mark despite having all bad habits !
@@brianterence3211 Never spoke about the immune system. A person's genes or DNA can influence the outcome of diseases . For instance some genes can "turn off' or "turn on" cancer cells that might appear due to one's lifestyle. People can become prone to ailments like Diabetes or Alzheimer's disease due to a variant in their genes. Some research has been done by Dr. Laura Zimmermann MD in this field and she writes about Genes vs Lifestyle and how, not one but different, genes in one's body can influence longevity .
Disagree. The people who did all wrong and got to live to 100 are exceptions. And as we know, exceptions don't make the rule. Follow what this doctor recommends makes a lot sense!

Genetics plays a big part of it - i knew a person who lived a healthy lifestyle, exercise, etc all their life - yet, past away in their late 40's - cancer ran in their family, they though they would at least get to 60. There is no magic formula to living long - there are people who live past 100 that drink and smoke. In China and Japan have a lot of people who live over 100 years then the West. we all know what to do: keep active, reduce/stop eating processed food, reduced stress, keep the mind healthy - lets admit it - very hard to do in the West - even health food are no so healthy ..!!! there is salt, sugar, fats in almost every thing we eat.
My grandmother is 93 yo, and my grandfather died at 94. I noticed similarities between grandfather and grandmother that , both are sleep on 10 pm and wake up on 6 am , the main thing i noticed is daily routine , grandma used to keep herself busy in some work or the other and even when there was no work, she would try to find some work.and my grand father has been cycling since he died at the age of 94, he never stopped cycling from beginning to end in life , he also used to keep herself busy And both of them had a very good diet which included vegetables , meat and fruits and dry fruits.
thanks for sharing the valuable lessons from your grandparents! may you have great genes from them and have a happy healthy long life 🍀❤️ Happy New Year!
It didn’t explain what the ‘passive diffusion’ method of B12 absorption is. That, I guess, is from sublingual absorption under the tongue. I use sublingual liquid B12 with both active forms, Methylcobalamin & Adenosylcobalamin & that works very well & very fast.

I totally agree with the good Doctor. He is the first doctor that I am aware of that recommends supplements. The AMA seems to be against using vitamin and mineral supplementation. Exercise and optimal nutrition extend the quality of life and therefore the longevity that your genetics allow. One other thing that extends the quality of life and longevity is to "stay happy". Happiness creates a placebo effect for the mind and therefore the body. Weight is not a true measure of healthy body fat levels. Body fat percentage is the better measure. For males, a body fat percentage of 5-12% is ideal while 10- 17% is ideal for females. Below 5% for males and below 10% for females is unhealthy. BTW, for my height and gender, I am obese by weight but my body fat percentage is within the ideal range. Even when I competed in bodybuilding contests at 5% body fat, I was still overweight by the height-weight standards for measuring good health and longevity. P. S. I am a former competitive "natural for life" 78 yr. old bodybuilder who still exercises strenuously with weights for 2 hrs/ day, 3-4 days a week. I have won local, regional and national titles against bodybuilders on anabolic hormones. I won my 1st contest at the age of 38. I taught biology, chemistry and human anatomy & physiology at the high school level for 38 years. I have 2 Master's degrees, one in science education and the other in human nutrition, the latter of which I got after retiring from bodybuilding competition. In acquiring my Master's degree in human nutrition, I discovered that what I was being taught, I had already learned from bodybuilding. I diverge from Dr. Scharffenberg in that I am not a vegetarian and I drink beer in moderation(at the beach which is where my body makes vit.-D). Other than that, I am in full agreement with the good Dr. *****Beer is made from fruit(plant parts associated with sexual reproduction), brewers yeast( sold in health food stores) and water. According to a 1970s issue in the "Science and the Citizen" section of Scientific American, humans make the equivalent of 1 serving of alcohol in the intestines each day from the fermentation of carbs via intestinal microbes. A final thought about Vit-B12. Vegetables grown where animal manures are used as fertilizer, will have highly absorbable Vit-B12. Without animal manure, plants will be lacking in Vit-B12. Plants don't need B-12 but we do.
I'm not a vegetarian, but I eat plenty of veggies, healthy fats, lean protein. I am also a certified personal trainer. My nutrition, faith, fitness, mindset is that I am getting younger. I was born in 1957. My lifestyle and fitness is as someone in their 20s. Who the hell says we have to get old?
Time says .., you can look a generation younger but this temporary as time marches on. You can look like a fantastic 75 year old at 100 but its all temporary. Then in time we are "just dust in the wind"
@@roymadison5686 Yes, but having the mobility, cognitive function and energy of 75 years old at 100 is the difference. Less point living if you are chair or bed bound.

A diet high in whole grains is absolutely not tied to low diabetes. It is exactly the opposite. Some people Buck the trend and are outliers. Plain and simple. My aunt almost made it to 104. She didn't exercise and was overweight most of her life. Never had a driver's license and never really left the house much. She was not into exercise.
Diabetes was not a major problem until people started eating a lot of simple carbs. The sad truth is that most products sold today as 'whole grain' are not whole grain. While they contain some whole grains, they allso contain a lot of simple carbs.
who knows if this man's age is due to his diet? he may have lived that long anyway due to genetics. ww2 vet richard overton lived to 112 on can food and butter pecan ice cream. he also smoked cigars and drank whiskey.
My friend's grandmother passed away at the age of 101. she had a very sharp brain capacity. she ate little portions but very often. she also loved meat very much. I think this varies from person to person. I am currently a vegetarian, I do not consume eggs or fish, I just cannot give up yoghurt, I feel very sorry for mass produced animals. My grandfather had a cow and he fed it for its milk. She was such a smart animal that my grandfather even prayed until the morning on the evening she was about to give birth. Just like a member of the family, a member who lives in the barn. She would go out to graze alone in the morning and find her way home in the evening.

Yup, healthy food, exercise, and low stress are the 3 keys to a long life
Most health issues are caused by nutrient deficiencies they don't teach that in corrupt america.

Many people who smoked and drank , and were sedentary, have lived to be a hundred ; while many others who neither smoked nor drank and exercised regularly have died of a heart attack at very young age. @@brianterence3211 Never spoke about the immune system. A person's genes or DNA can influence the outcome of diseases .
In China and Japan have a lot of people who live over 100 years then the West.
we all know what to do:
keep active, reduce/stop eating processed food, reduced stress, keep the mind healthy - lets admit it - very hard to do in the West - even health food are no so healthy ..!!!
there is salt, sugar, fats in almost every thing we eat.
Having a purpose, being socially engaged is vital too. Ditch social media and get involved with real people, join a club.

I also have many useful health videos. I hope to receive your support@DrinkingStar

@@roymadison5686 Yes, but having the mobility, cognitive function and energy of 75 years old at 100 is the difference. Less point living if you are chair or bed bound.
Have you heard of him laugh? He cracks me up! He is so full of life ❤❤❤.

Wow, she would be referred to as the minority in the equation ...
Wowww......
Diabetes was not a major problem until people started eating a lot of simple carbs. The sad truth is that most products sold today as 'whole grain' are not whole grain. While they contain some whole grains, they allso contain a lot of simple carbs.
thats aclled genetics lottery, not everyone can rely on that.
@@Christopher-h3wr Christopher be so silly. Haha.
Keep up with those grains and lots of soy. ; )
Life is not about living long (quantity). It is about living a great life (quality), even though it is short.
My grandma lives till 103. She diet consist of rice, vege and guiness stout.
who knows if this man's age is due to his diet? he may have lived that long anyway due to genetics. ww2 vet richard overton lived to 112 on can food and butter pecan ice cream. he also smoked cigars and drank whiskey.

Vitamin B12 is dependent on the right amount of stomach acid and IF in the upper stomach mouth
My mother is now 84 and healthy. She doesn't eat processed food and fast food, that's it! which for me is so hard to do😢
My friend's grandmother passed away at the age of 101. she had a very sharp brain capacity. she ate little portions but very often. she also loved meat very much.
Heartwarming story! 🙂 Thank you for sharing it!
