The *"Big three"* are slowly but surely coming along together (Flyout - Aircraft, Sprocket - vehicles, NavalArt - vessels)
Would be really awesome if Stealth made a vid or two on Sprocket, the internals update is very refreshing
And then there's Automation filling in for the civilian market and Stormworks for industrial/search and rescue.
And KSP for space
@@TheRealMeowMeow01 Well, KSP 2 is dead. It's not "coming along", and Juno New Origins has vizzy, and that's incredible.
@@stephengalanis nah, there is only the first KSP. And pretend KSP2 don't exist
We have Sprocket for ground vehicles, we have Flyout for aircraft, and now NavalArt for warships all coming along together.
We now have the capability to create our own military with these three games.
And "Automation" for cars
What about space ships
I dont think ksp fits the bill maybe children from a dead earth ?
There is also From the Depths, where you really can build anything. Check it out
@@nikolaideianov5092 Space engineer
Whatabout individual weapons? Air defence? Artillery?
I still remember the ancestor of these types of naval game: Battleship Craft on Apple devices.
What an absolute fantastic game that was for an ipad
absolute chad for still remembering that game. I used to play that game on my granpa's phone everytime he walked me to school, the good old days
Nah, Warship Gunner 2 on the PlayStation was the real OG ship builder lol
I grinded that game so hard. Ended up with a ship that reached max speed the physics allowed instantly and had something like 40 yamato turrets. I also remember building submarines and aircraft carriers.
IT GOT UPDATED recently btw
First time I'm seeing this game. It reminds me a lot of From The Depths, but the building is simplified.
Which is a good thing, because From The Depths scared off a lot of people due to the learning curve. Also we totally need this software to visualise and actually 3d-print Drachinifel's 'HMS Thunderchild'.
When I tried from the depths I accidentally made what was supposed to be an old sailing ship do loop de loops in the air. Haven't touched the game since.
ftd doesn't have a learning curve, it has a learning appalachia
Learning curve?
It's more of a learning *cliff,* covered in bears, and on fire.
Another naval game that has missile systems is Rule The Waves 3 which covers 1890-1970 so the lategame is very much all about missiles getting thrown about like crazy
This game heavily reminds of warshipcraft on the IOS a few years back, hoenstly I wont be surprised if some of the developers for that went on to make this game.
I think it's based on a Chinese version of that, which is also called Navalart
You should play more of this
I like games like this, i'm a big fan of sprocket and i would really like to play Naval art or flyout, my computer is just too weak for these games
Trust me they probably can run it since my Mac on a virtual box can do it
@@miguelgameiro8063so, use virtual box?
What components and OS does your computer use?
You either have a really really old computer (2013-) or you just have a laptop
I wonder when Stealth will cover FTD, even if its not a historical game, it seems right up his alley
Already did, several playlists full of it
@@Stealth17Gaming huh, I should probably start binge watching that I suppose
@@Stealth17GamingIt's pronounced like T.I.E. but without the E.
Stealth, can you make this into a series?
Not really sure how. I can make several videos on it
@Stealth17Gaming you could showcase viewers submitted stuff if you get enough submissions regularly.
Mini stories/ encounters
Theres a few things you can do I feel
@@Stealth17Gaming You could try to make realistic ships or alternate history ships and test them vs historical designs
I love this game so much, a few things that might make gameplay more fun and easier for you, when you are placing anything on the ship you are able to use the W, A, S, D, Q and E keys to quickly rotate that piece by 90 degrees in any direction. also changing to the various different grid sizes makes it easier to line things up when placing them.
Love the content so much and would love to see more NavalArt stuff like showcases of workshop ships
I'm sorry, but I served onboard both the USS LEYTE GULF CG55 and the USS MONTEREY CG61, the class of ship is pronounced Tie Con Der Oh Gah, but thank you for the video
Fantastic, especially the 3d printing option!
Oh wow, very interesting! Thanks
6:50 you can put heavy armour on but you need to use thinned out adjustable blocks on the side of the hull and then you can have those use the armour and not weigh the ship down by a but ton as the game calculates the armour heaviness by the total area of the the adjustable block. 22:47 you can select the missile again and then middle click to get another one.
There is also something called simple planes which surprisingly allows you to build ships
It would have been cool to see a late flight 3 Ticonderoga with a couple Burke escorts take on the legendary battleships.
16:40 That would be something they devs ought to fix. The Tico's SM SAMs are dual purpose and CAN be used against surface targets. Sure, they won't do as much damage as Harpoons, but they could stick wreck sensors / weapon mounts.
I've always enjoyed this game, especially setting up wild scenarios like 1v5 but from different eras, building a fleet killer ship or picket ships v a lone battleship.
Flight 1 Tico
I was going to say this lol
A late Ticonderoga with an exclusive anti ship load out would toast anything without anti missile defenses. They had what 72 VLS launchers?
@@SuperDriver379 128 vls cells, 64 fwd, 64 aft
Perhaps you could revisit Sprocket.
It received quite a few updates including geometric internals.
More of this please. Maybe Hood Vs Bismarck or other warship of WW II.
More of this plz
Why are you using the old Tico? The Bunker Hill, with a butt ton of VLS was commissioned in like 86. The dual arm launchers were only on the first 5. Use the later, but still same era, versions.
It's the one I found in the game.
Ive been having hella fun with this game, even put a few i thought were worthy in the workshop. Tons of modded parts available and soon (hopefully) the carrier update will let me have even more fun
One thing I do want to mention. The SM-2 can be both AA and Anti ship. Tico has close to 100 plus of those. They also didn’t render the torpedos and tomahawk anti ship weapons Tico packs. And lastly it wouldn’t be 1v1 it would be 1v 3 or 4 Tico class ships
Did your Tico not have torps? I feel like that could have made the difference.
The building system looks like stormworks
You can rotate parts by using the scroll wheel, or you can use it to adjust values like barbette height
So we could conver the Iowa into a BBG :D
Is it moded? Because i never know there is a AGM that work
I remember this games predecessor as an app I think it was called NavalCraft
It’s not a flaw, it’s a feature!
"Kirov doesnt have missiles" xD
Well, the model doesn't
Some guy is going around here saying Yamato would survive a Harpoon lol
TIE-conderoga. The Dutch accent is cute, tho.
I honestly wish rigging was easier in this game, because as far as I know, you need to use adjustable hulls for that.
Like, a click between 2 points system would be nice, y'know? Simple rigging makes ships way, way better despite being such a small thing.
there is, its a special rope block that does exactly that, its a bit finnicky tho
...Understood, will take a look then
we have a lot of vehicle building games, Stormworks, Flyout, Sprocket, Naval Art, Space Engineers, Besiege, Simple Planes, Dreamcar Builder, From the Depths what more could we wish for
Well now I want a 3d printer, that is an awesome feature.
There are 3d-printing services that not only do multicoloured plastics but also stone and metals and so on. For the occasional printing that is likely cheaper and a lot less stress inducing.
The SM6 missiles can target surface targets also.
It's kind of crazy that it was 3 years ago.
Stealth you can use A and D to rotate modules
Ah thanks! That's way easier.
This game is cool, i built my first Helicopter Carrier and now missiles are in, i can create a whole fleet.
would love to see you play waves of steel.
It looks extremely arcade. Is it any good?
There is quite number of empty Hulls based on each nations in the workshop. This should help some people to build things or just a learner on how to build hulls. You can customized it whatever you wanted to. I used to use Yamato’s Hulls to just slap an addon to become Shinano. Still wishing them to add Naval Aircraft on the game. Instead of using float planes only.
I haven't played this in some time mostly because I ran out of ideas of what to build, but my most insane build is mostly missile armament which sits at just over 2,000. Still it's a nice game to play if you want to stretch you imagination to it's limits
LOL posted 35mins ago i am the 11 person to comment :D keep up the good vids
Very cool game, who knew??
13:43 to me the sense of detail should really only come into play when you're trying to upload to workshop. I for one am not detail heavy, i dont try to be, im not meticulous enough, so i dont sweat it.
Pls do play more
Eyyyy
It´s a bit funny that this game does what Dreadnoughts promised in it´s first trailer.
Not exactly
When are we getting modern fighter jets guys?
Vls where?
Hey there
BTW Harpoon missiles would absolutely wreck a Yamato class
No they wouldn't, they can't penetrate Yamato armor, only act like bombs, Harpoons are designed to destroy modern non armored warships, they have a semi-armor piercing warhead designed to penetrate the thin hull of modern warships and explode inside, but Yamato armor is too thick, only Soviet mach 3 antiship missiles are designed to penetrate battleship armor
@@Maverick966 this is the problem with most people they do not think outside the box. Harpoon missiles can go into TOP DOWN attack mode, and that is where the Yamato would get wrecked
Hell let me paint the whole damn picture for you. Harpoon missiles are not stupid they can be used to target specific areas such as the bridge, tops of turrets, known weak spots, fire control stations, etc.
There is a reason why Battleships went the way of the Dodo and it's not just expenses.
@@Spartan536 Even with top attack Harpoons would still act like 500lb bombs because they have no penetration capability against a battleship, Yamato in real life took something like 20 x 1000lb bombs and 10 x 2200 lb torpedoes to go down, Harpoons are insignificant against a battleship, you need tens of them and still you would only be able to disable the Yamato, not even sink it because the armored citadel would keep it afloat together with propulsion inside it and only thin steel would be destroyed.
Just an FYI... Ticonderoga is not pronounced Tee conderoga. It is Tie conderoga
Damn. Those damage wiht Harpoon is really disappointing. I expect Yamato to survie 5-6 hits but to not even one fourth of the health is ridiculous.
This is absolutely realistic, modern anti-ship missiles are almost useless against a Yamato, they act like bombs because they are not designed to penetrate battleship armor, they can only penetrate the thin hull of modern warships and explode inside, the only exceptions are the Soviet mach 3 missiles like P-500 Bazalt and P-700 Granit missiles that were designed to penetrate battleship armor like the Iowa class.
@@Maverick966 And the Iowa class is under-armoured for a BB, it cannot stop it's own calibre.
20:36 realistically Yamato wouldn't be that accurate as in WW2 Japan was outclassed in radar ranging technology compared to US ships
You know that radar is not the only way to do accurate ranging, see Tsushima and ranges fired and hit w/o any radar.
C
What irks me is that i have no idea what the devs are actually working on.
But well.....chinese devs
Crap. That means it will be like warthunder and full of asinine coping mechanisms.
@@stillcantbesilencedevennow It very well may be. Although then you can just not use chinese missiles.
Are you on the discord?

Also literally only guns work in mp, massively restricting tactics
A modern ship wouldn't have any chance against a WW2 battleship, Moder ships have barely any fire power I mean even destroyers had more guns than the ships nowadays
I think you will find that battleships had no chance against WWII aircraft carriers, be it at Pearl Harbour or the Yamato ... never mind the Repulse and Prince of Wales.
There is a reason battleships are as much part of a modern navy as square rigged Second Rate ships of the line with rows of 48 or 32 pounders on the lowest gun deck.
A modern destroyer has enough missiles on board to turn the Yamato into dust before the Yamato even knows there's a ship within 100 km of it.
WW2 battleships are outdated garbage that have no functional purpose in modern combat, and even in WW2 they were being demolished by aircraft due to garbage AA.
This "muh ww2 battleships had more guns!" mentality is peak brain damage and an extremely obviously sign you're a monumental idiot.
