The GF gingerbread house is given to a local beekeeper. They lay the gingerbread out and the bees eat it up. They use an Austrian gingerbread recipe that has loads of honey in it. The bees love the gingerbread.

That donut absolutely looked like something out of The Simpsons. I will say you certainly had a more exciting Christmas Day than I did! I do feel bad for all those people who had to work on Christmas Day at Disney World (and I hope they got paid extra for it!).

Why didn’t you just park at Disney springs and get the bus to grand Floridian and boat or walk !
parking is free at magic Kingdom and its just next door so we opted for that

Just catching up on these vlogs after returning from new year in Florida. Nearly spilt my brew when you walked past Christmas shop and sounded grumpy about Disney baubles, it's Christmas day 😂😂

Such an action packed day ! Amazing you get to so many places and planned it well. Seeing the Christmas decorations around bring back out November 21 memories . We never went to Celebration to see it all lit up so glad u could capture that 💞

You really need to resort hop to the Swan and Dolphin! We have stayed in the Dolphin a couple times and although it’s not in your face Disney it’s a beautiful resort and in an amazing position/area! Right in between the Boardwalk resort and Yacht/Beach club, a walk away from Epcot and Hollywood studios and also to the skyliner and you can also get the boats to Epcot and studios! Perfect 👍 The lobby is definitely a wow factor and the pools are amazing too xxx

we’re going for halloween next year for 2 weeks, then when we get back we are booking it for christmas! i think christmas with the kids at disneyworld is something we HAVE to experience in life

You may have done this already, but a fun way to visit Port Orleans Riverside is to take the boat from Disney Springs up the Sasgalousa River. So pretty and peaceful. POR is my favorite resort because of the beautiful grounds.

When I lived in Winter Garden years ago, at Christmastime Santa would visit each neighborhood on top of a fire engine and throw candy canes down to the children, it was nice.
You’re so right, Magic Kingdom is Susan a faff to get to, but I always find once I’m in and get on attractions I forget about it XXX

I love using the monorail that goes around EPCOT for checking on the construction progress.
At DS you guys were near the Christmas Store and The Rainforest Cafe and right between them is one of my favorite shops for very unique Disney merchandise, The Disney Gallery, and you didnt go in, you would have loved it!

The new hotel next to the Swan hotel is called the Swan Reserve and it is nothing special compared to other Disney Resorts.
Nick, try turning the flash off on your phone when taking nighttime pics. The flash may wash things out a bit and it’ll look more natural. (Just hold it steady!)

Watching the ending about how Wintergarden's lights were so classy, reminded me of the Fresh Prince from Bel Air's first Christmas episode. The rich people had a certain "style" and uniformity and Will hated it, so he redecorated. He put up some really garish decorations, that all the kids loved. So my comment is, Christmas decorations are really for kids. Your blog yesterday gave me more joy than the boring, uniformed decorations in this one. I did not see any kids playing around the decorations in this blog either, unlike the one yesterday. That is what Christmas means to me, the joy of family, especially kids. When adults love something more than kids, then I think boring and sterile, which is the opposite of Christmas. When something is too perfect, kids rarely enjoy it.
