If someones does have the anti scan lockout come up during programming if its left alone for a couple days will it reset or does the key have to be on for an hour
Once you get the PIN, is it good down the road if I want to do another key ? I contacted my dealership and they asked for the last 8 digits of the VIN and then gave me the PIN code. They said its good for 48 hours but how is would it change?

Would you happen to know if this tool MS906BT will program 2012 Jeep Liberty keys? I have the pin code for the vehicle. One key was stolen, that's why I ask. Please and thank you for your time and help.
I programed a couple new keys with the autel maxydis, and now 6 months later I need to replace the win module. I bought a used win without keys and im not having any success in communicating with the used one. Are these something that can be programed? And if so can I use the new keys I just purchased or do I need new ones again? Im thinking either I got a bad win or should have gotten the keys with it. Getting the keys with the used one wasnt an option at the time, appreciate your help.

I cant find the WIN inside my autel scanner ts906. I'm having ignition issues on my 2014 ram 1500 express (no remote start, not push button)
My 2001 Chrysler Sebring Coupe had a failing PCM. I had the PCM replaced with a used unit. It wasn’t apparent, for some time, to me that my spare and valet keys no longer could be used. I got ahold of the guy that did the work and he told me, “it’s because you never gave me all the keys to reprogram!” I’m sorry, don’t place the blame on me, I didn’t know that I needed to give you all the keys for swapping out my PCM with a used module. That is for you to inform me, as I’m not the expert in auto repair. Anyway, I have one key that works and a spare and valet key that will allow the car to start then in seconds shuts off. If I lose my working key I don’t know what to do if that happens.
I was hanging out with a friend and drinking all night. He didn’t want me to drive drunk, which I wouldn’t have, and hid my keys. The next day when hungover and time to leave, can’t find my keys and my asshole friend doesn’t remember hiding them the night before. It wasn’t until that moment for it to dawn on me how screwed I was without a working spare key and started to panic.
Every website or video on the subject I have come across either states that the keys need to be unused or used keys CANNOT be reprogrammed. That cannot be true, as the guy was able to reprogram my one key, or please correct me if I’m wrong if that wasn’t how it was done to getting the key working with the new, used PCM. I would strongly prefer to RE-program my existing spare and valet keys to work with the replaced PCM and not go the route of new blanks, cut and programmed! That has to be an option as I’ve already stated, my master key works with the replaced PCM. I can no longer get ahold of the guy who did the work in the first place and when I did he wasn’t too keen on doing it then.
I want to get this done on the cheap, as I shouldn’t be in this situation. I’m not sure how much it would be at the Chrysler Dealership, but $300, $400+ pop up in my thoughts and that is not an option. I can afford the new keys if it cost me $300, $400 or even if it’s $500, it’s the principal. The fact that it was the mechanic who does not accept responsibility for his failure to address the key problem and it costing me more out of pocket is the principle. Sorry for rambling on, this is a touchy subject for me and can get a little riled up talking about it! But, if anyone can shed some light on my situation and explain to me my options, no mater how bad or good it is. I’ll use the info to get a working set of keys, either with a smile on my face or biting my tongue doing so, thank you!
If the customer were to get his vehicle PIN code , is it something that remains the same over time and can be used years later for programming keys , or is it a generated rolling code that expires and changes constantly over the course of time accessible only through a dealer program?
1FNJO up until around the 2016 model year Chrysler pin codes were the same for the life of the vehicle. After 2016 model year they started to use rolling pin codes that are only good for 12 hour (I think it’s 12) after it is generated.

I had a”key” guy come to fix my car cause I dropped the key and kinda stepped on it too so the auto theft light would come on as soon as I put it in. We bought the code but car still gives the auto theft light! Wtf. Ideas?

i have a 2008 chrysler 300C.i only had 1 key, that i lost. can i program a new key? or will i have to have the ignition tore out?
I wish the Autel's "Replace Passive Entry Module" feature it had worked. It always says incorrect PIN# even though the pin is correct...

$50!!! In Long Island, New York, the dealer told me $230 for the key, $75 for programming it, and $30 to cut the key - plus the excessive NY sales tax. Besides ridiculous property taxes we pay, every time you buy something here you have to pay for the other guys property taxes. If not for family, everyone would be leaving N.Y.

I have one key, it is the physical steel key with a transponder.
The other regular fobik broke.
I have max number of keys programmed. I'm scared to erase and leave me stranded.
I just erase all keys and start with my steel key and move on the new fobiks.

That worked. Interesting tho it wouldn't let me clear the keys with the bladed key. I had to clear using a u programmed fob inserted
I highly agree with the aftermaket junk keys. I have done so many that the rate failure for me is higher with those trash keys than with OEM keys. It's awlays the remote part that either fails after a few months, weeks, days or they don't program right off the bat. I explain this to my customers before doing the programming because I charge them either way. They want a key that won't fail, get the OEM key. Yeah, its like $160, but they have never failed me. EVER.
My 2015 original RAM fob failed after 2 years. The little metal contacts under the rubber buttons shifted and could not be put back. I tried to superglue them, but they came off after a few weeks. I copied the mechanical key for $5 and now I use the mechanical key to open the door, and the FOB key to disable the immobilizer and start the truck. The FOB relay thieves can kiss my ass.

Call local dodge dealership parts department, mine will give you the code free of charge. some scanners will pull the code for you though.
My truck says wrong key fob and it's hard to start but it's the same key I always had

@@Ace-mj7ws if the Dealer charges $80 to add a key fobik and will give you the PIN code and mechanical key cut code to record for future reference then that sounds fair

Nice video! I hav to say I hate these keys! I just bought a newer Ram and only came with 1 of these key fobs..These key fobs are the biggest scam I’ve ever seen! I’ve bn driving for over 30yrs and never had a vehicle stolen...Old fashion keys cut for $1.50/ea....These can cost hundreds!! Fin joke 🤬🤬🤬🤬
You don't really need a pink hug you can do all key is lost method
The proper way would be to let locksmith do it being that is how they make their money. Also they are able to pull the pin from the vehicle(saves customer $$$).
I contacted few ppl/locksmith average price $250 for 2010 caravan 1 fobik key 5 minutes of easy work. I understand the tool is expensive but it’s not 100k lol totally rip off. Honestly I will buy the tool for few hundreds use it then resell it before I consider getting ripped off like that. Can get the pin code from the dealership it’s the ONLY correct way don’t sing up for any rip off scam.
