Hi Mark. The click on the door is a usual fault. Just tighten the securing bolts on the door frame. And spray WD 40 or/other. Into the door. You don't need to take off the door panel. It works for me 👍.
Hello Mark, the Peugeot 3008 is coming nicely and nice to see the new bumper on the front, maybe with the new gearbox oil it will solve the delay it will make it better.
I've had loads of those Peugeot Citroen "Auto's" over the years - That's the way they are. Don't jump into the oil change expecting it to change the way the gearbox works, that's the way it operates, it's like an old lazy man changing gear - that's it. Change the gearbox oil from a maintenance point of view sure but not a performance perspective. Regarding the clicky door. it's the door strap, they all do it - maybe a bit of grease, but sometimes you just can't defeat it - it's one of the traits of those 3008's AND the C4 picasso. Once you accept the way those cars are, they're actually really decent cheap cars, very economical and they cruise really well, it's not a racing car, it's an old family man plodder.
Hey Mark! I have a Peugeot 2013 3008, the engine starts, but when I put it on drive or reverse, it goes back to neutral. What could be the issue? Thanks for all the help!
semi automatic vs automatic . Research it. Semi automatic is fitted with a normal type clutch on gearbox but is operated by electric actuator hence the delay feeling.
That rear near side door looks so out of colour! Is it the automated manual gearbox? We had that in a berlingo and it was the worst most indecisive gearbox ever! They were so bad they no longer do them! When you hear it’s going to change up ease off the accelerator then once it’s gone up back on gas makes it slightly better. We came down to London in our Berlingo and the roadabouts were lethal by the time the car wakes up and moves gap gone! Please don’t mess with it ours was brand new and it’s just the way they are!
Having been a continuous Peugeot owner from 1986 I can only report they have got poor and poor in quality over the years, body work, mechanical & worst of all electrical to the point were I after my experiences with them will never buy another Peugeot again
Changing the gearbox all won’t improve anything they were a crap gearbox from the start even from brand-new. it will not have tax with it they will go back to the original owner and you’ll find it will come off soon and who told you they do 65 mpg that is a load of crap!!!
Cracking car comming out very nice.I would change the gearbox oil ASAP I bet it needs one.I also think it will improve the gear changes too.
@@johnchincotta1qwdb15 hi mate yeah I’ll do that tomorrow 👍👍
Good man lol

Green tyre caps signify NITROGEN in the tyre.! 😊
@@pm1104 hi mate yeah that’s what he said it was 👍👍
It's basically an automated manual with a clutch. You're better off changing up with the paddles. The box is compromised by the clutch action. Cheers

Interesting over gas. I've never 🤔 heard of it before
Nice car, though 👌
@@danielsellers8538 hi mate yeah someone just commented what it is 👍👍
Nitrogen molecules are a different size as opposed of air , so they leak less .
you cant transfer the tax. that goes back to previous owner
Something tells me that you won't get that car back in the same condition you gave it out.
Nitrogen
