In this video we will compare the colors and prices of diamonds. At the end of this video I will demonstrate to you why the diamond color might be the place you want to cut back on the 4 C's if price is an issue for you.
We will compare all the diamond colors in this video to D, G, I and K.

I really love the appearance of a warmer diamond in a yellow setting against brown skin complexions. I just don’t buy into white metal setting with a colorless stone. The beauty of a stone is truly subjective.

I completely agree that clarity should be more of a priority when selecting a diamond. I had a VS1, H-I color diamond that was more brilliant than my friend's SI1, F color diamond. And hers had very visible inclusions where mine did not.
That's because is a VS 1 that's high clarity

what about measurements, I understand there is a percentage with girdles and tops but I just bought a 1 Carat cushion cut diamond and it is a G color, I1 Very good cut with a measurement of 5.82 x 5.78 x 3.71 mm GS Labratories
Is this measurement a good one? the diamond sparkles well and it is very hard to notice inclusions from the eye. I paid $2900 (CAD) for it
I got a 1.50ct E VVS1 and we paid almost $16K AUD just for this centre stone...now I'm not sure if we paid too much for it now or not. It has GIA certification but bought it in a diamond store...Plus of course the designed and additional diamond we put into the ring. Needless to say, I will go crazy if I ever loose my engagement ring 😂😂😂

I just purchased a .90 cushion cut, vs1, g color for $2100 (gIA and appraisal included with stone) I was actually looking for a vvs stone but I couldn’t see any inclusions in my stone online but I wasn’t too concerned as they do offer a money back guarantee and if i wasn’t happy with it I could return for 100% refund. I Purchased my ring from Blue Nile with setting was $2499. My budget was $2500 right now. I was looking for a 1ct minimum diamond and to be honest when you go from .90 to a 1ct stone or more the prices jump. Since I was looking for a 1 ct this diamond is so close in size and the price was hard to beat. In a couple years I hope to be able to trade in for larger diamond. This ring far has exceeded my expectations. They offer a trade in policy, resizing if necessary. Customer service is exceptional! Highly recommend Blue Nile, if nothing else just check them out for comparison pricing, oh did I mention they will do price matching.

Rick Buck thanks for reply ! I gave to polish 5ct green stone ! My cutter say if he do rose pear cut , it’s can take out ca 3ct , but I want modify brilliant pear cut ! He saying loosing more weight for it ! So what you think ? What is better ? It’s intense fancy green or vivid green ! (Can be yellowish green )
You should just do whichever is more important to you. If you want a bigger diamond then don't have them cut it. Better is all up to you.
