    I tore a muscle in my abdomen. I was stretching as I would after getting up from bed and I suppose to stretched way too much, because I felt a sudden rip in my abdomen and I was struck with immediate pain. I had trouble walking or moving around for a couple of days, because your core keeps you balanced while you walk. I sneezed shortly after it happened and it was so painful I just went to bed.

    Welp I pulled a muscle I believe. Workout pain tends to be pretty sharp for me. I'm getting a dull stabbing ache in my leg. Not having issue moving my leg so I can walk easily. But I seem to be having a bit of an issue rotating my leg left to right. Looks like I won't be working out my legs today.

    Tore a muscle in my back from my hip up to my rib on left side. Happened 3 times in past 5 years with lumbar strains off and on . This time was 2 months ago and I was just standing up from squatting down on one knee. Pain felt like a rip up my side and walked like a zombie to get into bed. Now 2 months later I can walk and sit but I feel a knot up under my left rib in my back. Almost like an inflamed muscle and hurts off and on until I put heat on it. Still can't bend forward without bracing myself in fear of another lumbar spasm. So tired of this happening at least once a year but this knot under my ribs has never happened before. Don't know what to do.

    So my mom fell out of the tub right so I went to help her up. Now when I arrived at school it started to hurt now when I got home it hurts so bad it hurts to move.

    I was playing basketball and i jumped and my back popped and i can barley breath i haft to bend over the breathe do i have a strain musle

    So I was playing footbal and I kicked the ball very hard when I suddenly felt a great pain to my right upper leg, I could hardly walk and couldn't run. It's the muscle that raises the leg upwards and It's painful I can hardly move my leg forwards/upwards.

    It's in my upper back and it hurts to move damnit! Not terribly sore but still sore
    And I'm trying not to extend it because then it hurts even more.
    Ice didn't do anything and heating pad at least helps me relax a bit. (Ice usually helps me more than heat)
    If this doesn't clear up in the next three days, it's day 2 and i think it's only getting worse, than idk what I'm going to do for work. I jus happen to be off right now.

    Hey I am 13 years old and when I was stretching in bed I think I have stretched too far and the middle of my leg hurt so bad and when I felt it, it felt so hard but then I just waited then it went back to normal? It feels normal now

    I just had surgery on my left hip. I have been using my right leg to get around. My right hip has started hurting. I don't know what to do because I have to remain non-weight bearing on my left side. I also have cerebral palsy.

    How do I know if I pulled a muscle or hamstring

      Your hamstrings are a group of muscles, so pulling you hamstring means, you've pulled one of the muscles in that area of your leg. Here's some more information: loudounsportstherapy.com/pull-tear-hamstring-6-22-20

    I was doing Surya Namaskar and suddenly my foot fingers got numb. After 10 minutes they were normal. But now I am feeling weakness in the toe and the little fingers. There is sometimes swelling and stiffness also.

    I think I have a pulled or at least strained? Muscle in my upper back where your shoulder attaches to your back ( shoulder blade I think it’s called?) 🤣 I’d fail anatomy class if I had one. Lol. I just want to know how to take care of it.

    For my case my upper harmstring hurts only when i strech but i can walk and do my usual things .. what is that mean doc?

      It is hard to determine what the cause of you pain may be, without an in person evaluation to assess your movement patterns, range of motion, and strength.     Does the part of harden? I think I got one around my lower buttocks but the area is harder then the surrounding area that doesn’t hurt from what I believe is a pulled muzzle

    I slipped on ice and within 24 hours my lower back left side is bad. It’s been a week and I am suffering trying to sit, stand, and do simple tasks. Sharp pain. I’ve been taking advil and tramadol. I’m thinking I tore the muscle? I’m nervous as I did this at work as they didn’t salt the area where I parked. I’ve avoided the dr as I don’t want to make a claim but this sucks and I need some kind of help I think.

      We would absolutely recommend getting checked out by a physical therapist. Handling this issue sooner rather than later is crucial to ensure no further injury occurs.

    Hi ! Please I’m concern. I’m a teenager, but every time I exercise I get this sharp pain in my low back, hip, and it goes to my thigh. The pain stays for about a week, and comes once a month. It’s been happening for about two years now :( I go to the doctor but they say I have nothing wrong with my organs and stuff, I’m not sure if it’s something to do with nerves? Anyway, can you guys help ?

    I dont know what happened to my leg i was running without strecthing. Then when i made my leg straight during the step in the race my soleus muscle did something i cant explain the feelling and felt extreme pain .then i couldnt stand on my tip toes on the left leg .i had this problem happenet to me before it took 4 weeks to heal on my right leg last time now i just did it yesterday. DO U KNOW WHAT HAS HAPPENED Because I HAVE TO LIMP EVERYWHERE UNTILL IT HEALS . THANKS😁

    Every day I wake up I feel a sharp pain on my foot or another day I wake I feel a sharp pain on my right calf then another day I would feel it on my left calf but it last like 20 seconds than when I try to walk it hurts where I had the sharp pain

    About a month ago I went to go see a podiatrist for arch pain . They said I had a bit of inflamation (plantar fasciitis). He gave me a steroid shot in my arch foot. Since then I have felt numbness in that foot also with sever calf pain with a pinch feeling radiating from the back of my knee going downwards towards my back of my foot . Any Idea what can I do? Ibuprofen is just not working for my pain aswell as stretching. I did not have this type of pain before the shot. Its verry pain full and painfull just to even take a few steps.       Hey Maria thanks for reaching out! Physical therapy is the best approach to treating your plantar fasciitis and eliminating the pain you are experiencing after the shot. These types of shots sometimes are able to offer temporary relief but often times are not a successful treatment. Physical therapy will determine the root of the problem, by addressing the way you move, and strengthening surrounding muscles.

    Is it possible to pull a muscle in my upper back? After my football training I hit a really hard and intense shoulder and tricep workout and I did half my workout cause I have random sharps of pain in my upper back under my right shoulder.and I can barely move without hurting

      It is possible you pulled a muscle, however, this pain could also be radiating from elsewhere. The best way to determine what is causing it and to address the issue is to be evaluated by a physical therapist!

      Same thing happended to mean but I ignored it and still showed up to my basketball game but that was a mistake I only lasted 6 minutes into the forst half before I could barely walk I couldnt sit or lay down without hurting Luckly it stopped hurting after 3- 4 days

    I have back pain and chest tightness/pain with some around my ribs, and difficulty taking a deep breath, what does that mean? 🤔 I don't know if this helps but something fell on my back a few months ago 🤷🏻‍♀️

      Hey Isla! Back pain can be from many things. The best way to determine whether it is from a pulled muscle/muscle strain or something else such as a disc injury or poor posture, is through an evaluation. If it is causing you trouble breathing, seek help from you doctor immediately.

      @@anikastarseed It can absolutely be cured! Physical therapy is a great treatment option. A physical therapist will be able to teach you exercises as well as perform hands-on manual therapy to get you back to living pain free!

      @@mysticalszn7787 yes I did heal, from time to time I still feel a bit a strain in my back, but most likely from work in general, if your back hurts I think stretching and resting is the best way to go

      Hey Megan, thanks for reaching out! There is no instant solution to a pulled muscle. However, continuing activity to use the pulled muscle such as dancing on it, can lead to further injury. A physical therapist would be able to help you return to your activities without risking injuring yourself further.
