I m sure know one believes me but I smash it with a sold 60-90 second left on my iPhone . I rember back in the day it was a struggle the first time .the boat rc plane mission later on for the Haitians is a challenge everytime tho

I requested someone from internet cafe to do it for me.
I finished the mission by cheating. I changed the properties of the Helicopter RC so that it wont blow up too easily 😂
I did it first try because that trilogy is surprisingly easy on mobile, the flight controls are hard but they are way easier to control than the definitive edition

The Vice city map feels a lot smaller because it is. You can fit like all of Vice City inside of one city in San Andreas. San Andreas was a huge game considering it came out on PlayStation 2. I was like 14 years old when it came out, and I had to be really sneaky when I played it cause my mom didn't allow me to. She believed all the media hype about it being a gateway into a life of crime and all that nonsense. I still managed to play it for like hundreds of hours in my room though, I absolutely loved it
GTASA was one of my favorite games. I remember when I was a teen, I couldn’t buy it, so I asked my dad to rent it for me at City Market. He said “isn’t that the game where you kill prostitutes?” And I said “…no?” And he rented it for me lmao.
Later on my friend gave me his copy, and I played that game for probably hundreds of hours. Such an awesome game.

I remember how massive Vice City was when it first came out back in 2002. It was everywhere, even in the front of the newspapers. Vice City is THE game that got me into gaming and made me fall in love with 80s Miami

The definitive editions are great. People complain about the character models looking cartoony and then play the og games where everybody’s made of like 10 triangles
GTA3 characters look like they're made out of boxes and hands in all the originals are terrible.
I actually always play these versions over the originals even though I have them on PS2, PS3 and PS4

GTA 3 & Vice City was a big part of growing up for me. San andreas too but 3 and VC were just masterpieces for the time. The gameplay was perfect for the era and defined a whole genre of games.
Small story, this was my first ever gta game when I was maybe like 11, my cousin sent this to me from Pakistan on a super shady usb it was some pirated version and it was super hard to install, somehow it installed and I don’t think I ever did a single mission I’d just go around and have fun then somehow I discovered I can use cheats it was such a great time! Also that random room with the murderer Easter egg
Vice City was my first ever GTA game. It was my older brothers, and I was 5ish at the time I remember sneaking it when he was away and playing this game. Sooo many memories. Ill also never forget the famous Back to the Future mod (which is my favorite game mod to this day) that added the DeLorean's and time travel to it. Such a classic and epic game!

Out of the three, this game’s definitive edition captures the feel of the original the best. 3 and SA don’t feel right for some reason, usually the lighting, but VC feels like a nicely polished version of my nostalgia.
I also love how the opening missions in this game are all lowkey RS bragging about the new features. “Hey we have clothes and motorcycles now. And melee weapons. And little helicopters.” Sorta like how SA had you ride a bike and rob a house in your first few missions.
Literally everything i started with. First game ive ever broke, first game i hacked myself, a gta i finished from start to end w no saves, the first gta ever to make me rage, my first open world. This game is the embodiment of my childhood gaming experience

I had a weird relationship with Vice City. I started in the early 2000s with Vice City as my first GTA and absolutely fell in love with it when I played it on my cousin's console, but it was quickly overshadowed by San Andreas. When the 2010s came around I was able to get a copy of Vice City for myself but for some reason I just couldn't click with the controls, the visuals, the story, etc. I think I was going through an Assassins Creed/God of War craze at that time to be honest. Now, in 2023, stuck in Vietnam I decided to pick the game up after leaving it half done a year or so back due to some relationship issues. And finally getting all the trophies and stuff I get it isn't the best GTA game, but it's one that set the precedent and considering it was made in, what, a year (?) you gotta appreciate that this GTA really started the GTA craze. For now anyway it remains my personal favourite GTA. If not for the story, then at least for, ahem, "Call me Martha."
It came out in 2002, 2 years before San Andreas and about 1-2 years after III. Vice City at the time was amazing and improved a lot from Grand Theft Auto III, for one they added helicopters. Vice City is a nostalgic classic of a game. You ever play III, it's worth checking out to see where it all started and for it's own Liberty City mafia story and stuff.

I was 10 years old when it came out in 2002. I started GTA with San Andreas and when I got introduced to the GTA franchise with it , after beating San Andreas I got copies of both Vice City and GTA 3 and enjoyed them too .
Man u made Helicopter Mission piece of cake, that mission was the reason i never completed this game story as a kid but completed when i was 17. LOL!!
First GTA I played was GTA 3, then vice city and then San Andreas which is my favorite out of all of them. Had some awesome moments playing Vice City with my grandpa!
This was my very first GTA game and I wasn't allowed to play it sincs I was 8 years old, so I watched my older brother play it on his PS2. Great times... then he got San Andreas.. I miss you bro..

I remember I struggled hard as a kid on the mission where you use the drone to plant bombs in that building and the other mission where lance flies you in a chopper while you shoot the gang members

It’s been many years since I’ve played this game so I don’t remember if they had the same in this game, but one of my favorite things about San Andreas were the radio stations and listening to the DJ’s. They would say the most hilarious things. Even though Vice City came out when you were rather young, I’m sure that you know that it’s modeled after the old 80’s TV show “Miami Vice”. They need to completely remake this game for the new generation of consoles like they’re rumored to be doing for the original Red Dead Redemption. I think it would sell really well.

I grew up in the 80s during Miami vice t.v show .I love this game it was my first video game when I had the ps 2 ,this game does need to be remade with the current technology but keep the story the same
I played this version a few months ago, and I guess I was lucky with the bugs cus they rarelly happened to me in an annoying way. I loved it! But It sure doesn't have all the charms of the originals. I think it would be easy to fix some of the atmosphere aspects of the trilogy. 3 needs to be darker and less satured. Vice City could use a bright blue sky instead of the kind of overcast look this one have for the regular time of day climate, water could also be bluer.. and San Andreas, they could of added the colors of sky that are either missing or are too rare.. like the purple sky for the desert that I rarelly saw on the definitive edition during the night. Things like that would help a lot with the feel of the game.
I find it funny that he compares Rosenberg with Saul when his character (at least appearance) has been taken from another corrupt lawyer from "Carlito's Way" (1993).
The whole character is modelled after William Fitchner who voices him and I believe plays the lawyer you're talking about.
Vice city was the S#!7 son, and this game has the best radio station playing 80's club rock. Even the ice-cream man was pushing.

I remember playing this overseas back at base after a hot day about a year after 9/11. See 12 Marines still in uniform just relaxing. Think we needed that to take our minds off of, well....war.
I used to love Vice City. Had it for pc and completely modded with real vehicles and buildings. Fun times
I only added mods that are quality of life improvements. Like taxi service, running with two handed weapons etc.
Heck yea, the mods that made the bldgs, cars & guns of the period more detailed, realistic. Avoided the ones that inserted modern crap.

I love this one. Vice city hooked me into GTA. This one was so much fun. I don't know if I like this graphical update. It don't feel right or maybe it just messed with the nostalgia of old graphics
the definitive edition is great tbh. its smoother and camera is better. the ORIGINAL is outdated and feels very unplayable. the nostalgia is still there.
@@Destroymaster100 yeah i ain’t gna lie even if i have the og versions on ps4 (before the definitive edition released) and a pirated version on pc i still personally play the missions on the definitive edition due to the quality of life changes. tho i still prefer the original trilogy on ios compared to the netflix deal (i’m 17 so i started out of the mobile trilogy) and since vice city if the first one i first started out with (i had played gta 4-5 before at other peoples houses but i was like 8-9 so i wasnt playing missions) and vice city was the first one i owned it holds a special place in my heart to the point that i purchased it 5 separate times. ( individually on ios, then trilogy, individually on ps4, then definitive edition ps4 then definitive edition pc) and also a pirated version of the og on pc, but i’ll admit the controls are a lil dated. still fun for cheats tho

Ken is based on the character Sean Penn played in Calitos Way. It's a great film if you've never seen it. Kent Paul was Danny Dyer.
The cartoonish character models are 100% an issue with this release only. This was the most formative GTA game for me, brings back good memories.

Chain saw animation in Definitive edition is weird in comparison to ps2 or ps3. Only ever played once on Original Xbox.
I actually found a ps2 to xbox controller adapter I plugged that into a Xboxone to ps2 adapter I can use an original xbox controller on the XboxOne.
The moment you enter the first Car in the alley and Billey Jean pops on. Priceless!

On PC though I've heard the songs are still in the files so you can mod the game to put them back in the game.

You can run while holding mac 10 though.

Demolition Man is quite easy actually if you know a few tricks, first go for the highest floor one and after dropoing the bomb SELF DESTRUCT the heli , !! this saves you a lot of time going al the way back to pick another bomb , repeat with 2nd floor and 2nd heli, then with last heli do last bombs, you should have well over a minute on the time left when completing the mission
club is longer than hammer though, There’s a stronger likelihood the club will make contact with opponents head, before the hammer even touches the other person.

This was my first PS2 game. Christmas was just arround the corner, and i asked at school what i should get, and everyone said: Go get GTA Vice City. Clueless me, just asked my dad, and at christmas night, i was beating up people with a baseball bat at the streets, laughing very hard. And i can hear my mom ask my dad at the table: What the hell did you bought him?? And he was like: What? he's enjoying it 😂😂 But San Andreas was the best childhood GTA for me tho

This whole GTA 3D universe, is all about rise and fall of Forelli mafia gang family.
Before that, The Forelli mafia is the strongest mafia family in the USA, until the Forelli mafia started to fall after the death of Sonny Forelli at the final mission of vice city.
Then we have CJ in San Andreas, who take care of Sonny's brother at Marcos Bistro.
After that, Toni Cipriani in Liberty City Stories blown up one city in Staunton Island which is the Forelli's main operation.
And finally in GTA 3, the only Forelli's gang is the Forelli's brothers which in one mission, they already killed.
