Excellent video! I own a 7300 and did not know most of what you taught. You clearly understand that we don’t have time for video filler and you get to the point! Thank you for not showing us the “unboxing” of the 7300! Keep these coming please for the 7300!
Thank you. You did a good job of describing this. The manual didn’t seem to work for me. It is a different approach that I wonder if there are mistakes. Your approach was effective. You made a great radio better.
Thanks. I've had my 7300 since December but only now getting around to looking at some of the non-obvious functions. I had not figured out the MPAD feature until this video. 73 Randy KAØAZS
thanks! I knew about using mpad to store a frequency, but I had missed that you could quick press it to move between them. 2 quick notes - per the manual you can change the number of mpad memories from 5 to 10 using the menu, and mpad stored frequencies can be on different bands. 73, K8JLW
Reid, thanks for adding to the conversation. Good points about the multi-bad and +5 features of the mpad. Many folks, myself included, learn the features which work for them in the moment, and then miss out on some of the deeper opportunities. It is good that you and the community help to bring additional details to light. We are all better for it. Thank you. 73 - AC3DS
Awesome video that helped me to realize even more why I love my 7300 because of the simplicity to do things and versatility of the radio. I liked realizing the expd/set button will take you from the name you entered to just mem and a number depending on how you push the expd/set button. 73, Chris KO4OZJ
