I have been seeing a lot of bad alternators and starters from after market parts manufacturers. Been very frustrating for diagnostic purposes. Good video and always look forward to more.
My Acadia was doing that same thing until I cleaned the body ground inside the battery box off negative terminal. Also did it mostly after a rain too. 👍✌️
I have same issue but traverse didn’t do this the first 7-8 years of ownership. Dealership said it’s fine but it’s not. I am going to check battery ground and grounding straps for body and engine.
I just bought a 2012 Traverse, and it is doing the same as this one is. Most often when it goes low, if you raise the idle to 2000 rpm or so, the gauge will go back above 14, but not always. I changed the alternator, the battery cable from the alternator, fuse block, and starter. The section connected to the alternator looked melted. With no change.
I have a 2014 chevy traverse The voltage gauge will stay at 14 and then drop to 13 and then go back to 14. But when I park in the gauges at thirteen it will all of a sudden jump up the fourteen.
It’s not the battery or alternator. I have same problem. I’ve replaced the alternator twice and battery 3 times in 5 months. Something is effecting the battery from charging while running and slowly killing battery.

You ain’t wrong, and they only get worse. Thanks for the support amigo!
I'm ready to get rid of mine. I issues with that right now. And the battery keeps dying. I'm sick of spending money on this truck

Were you able to fix it?
Nice video, Thanks!

There's nothing better than leaving cheeto prints all over someone's car, lol. I did the same the other day with a customer that had gummy worms 😂
I think is the battery charging module
Same problem
I have the same problem with 2011 traverse LS
Did you find the problem? Or, gauge fright

In the end, customer says a new battery solved the problem.
Same. I have new battery and alternator. Still not charging
Did you figure it out? I'm having same problem. I'm going to try a ECM
