- This round sees all of the 13 available demo recordings made for Queensrÿche's 2nd album, Rage For Order. I EQ'd some of the songs a bit because of a lot of hiss being audible - most of that is gone now.
The phrasing of the lyrics is just amazing….Good stuff.
Wow... It is really like discovering a forgotten treasure so many years later😍... what a gem!!!!!
listening to this for the fist time in 2019 is like discovering a hidden gem buried in the sands of time for decades!
Also, this song totally had potential. I wish a finished version would have made it to Rage for Order.
It would have been cool to have this demo version in better quality as a bonus track on the 2003 remaster, or the 2007 'Best-of' set.
0:13 reminds me of "Future World" by Helloween, but with with David Bowie on vocals.
That is funny but yes this is totally FUTURE WORLD by Helloween
The guitar rhyme is similar as in Future World but it was impossible to know the track of Halloween because Keeper was released in 1987
@@ms.felonystrutter2472 How did Kai Hansen get ahold of this demo? I doubt it was internationally released by then
This track should be remastered and included as a bonus track in Rage for Order. It's great
This song has the same vibe as the rest of Rage for Order. This album stormed my consciousness back in 1986. I think Rage for Order is QR's second best behind Mindcrime...but it's really close.
this was from a Myth song that Geoff wanted to finish..but it was too poppy and too alternative, very much like Lifeboat from Duran also.. lots of debate on this one back then
Really? I had no idea it was from the Myth days.
It would have been amazing if a better/cleaner version had been released as a bonus track on the 2003 remastered CD, or the 2007 box.
+Queensrÿche Bootlegs In March of 2000, I had backstage passes and asked Geoff Tate about this song and if he would ever re-record it and release it. I got a very definitive, "No!" I said then and still feel now that they should have.
rbrebrook correct..: )
+rbrebrook - It wouldn't be as awesome if they had re-recorded it. They should just have re-mixed, or at least cleaned up, this demo version.
I wish they would release the entire demo of Rage. Enhance the sound but don't change the sound. This album is so underrated and I am not crazy about the album's production. Rage has some of my all time favorite songs on it and I would love to hear these versions so loud and clear.
Thanks again so much for sharing all these great rare gems!!! It was like listening to 'Rage' again for the 1st time.Actually thats what it is but like a part 2. Can You tell me if this is available to purchase for my collection or is it like a 'Bootleg' type of release? Now I'm thinking there are many unreleased tunes and different versions from their other albums..?
I don't recommend buying bootlegs at all. I can upload the files and send you a link :)
As for other demos, I have the demo tracks from The Warning, and a disc with some of the demo tracks from Empire.
@ Thank you so much for sharing these. Like the others have already stated, listening to these is something special. Totally interested in receiving all of these as well as The Warning and Empire demo tracks. Please let me know how I can get those. Thank you!
@ I know Im about a year late, but I would love to have these files also.
How can we make that happen?
Tate is Great,period.
Only time when Queensryche sounded like Rush.
Listen to “resistance” off of empire. That song is pure rush influence
Lyrics anyone?
I awoken on impact
Underneath the cameras
I was taken by surveillance
Takes to make contact with you
Quite a bit has changed
From the last time we talked
But that's all part of the plan
And from what I've seen we're right on course
Now I...I can still recall
Your voice
From when you whispered all
Of this to me this here
Shadows all a dream
When you watch the TV
You'll see
There's something happening
Scans and more tests
Question our existence
Why rely on fate when science connects
Blame most of this
I wonder what they'll find
A lightyear from now
Well they've filled the children's heads with lies
In the name of God
Believe me
There's still so much to do
It all
Depends on every one of you to see things clear
The way it all must be
Just think how far we all could be
With a new society
If you could just beget the facts
and be free
From The Darkside
Will we ever be change
Stop running from the pain
From The Darkside
@@vinnie6576 thought you just put I Don’t Believe in Love at first lmao
@@diglis1033 🤣🤣🤣 Me Too!!

@@vinnie6576 sounds similar to I don't believe in love
