I kind of think Rage For Order, From the Dark Side, and The Dream should have been the bonus tracks on the 2003 remastered version instead of having live songs as the bonus tracks. That's my opinion I hope there are people on here who think the same way.
It must've been tough as a band to put all this work into this song and not put it on the RFO album. Then to add it as anarchy X at the beginning of OMC album the guys on the band had to probably fight the urge to sing the lyrics to this on the first OMC tour. Thanks for the upload! Great!
Amazing how this album came out 25 years ago and as a major fan of Q & especially that album, I all of a sudden hear another song made for that album that is awesome. Yes, you hear the genisis of other songs, but this stands by itself. Thanks so much for posting :)
Wow!! Thanks for posting... This made my day. Never knew it existed. Not sure it would have fit so well on Rage but holy shit did this fall right into place at the right time!! :) MARY?
I just wish the quality of the recording was better! I still have a cassette of it and it probablly sounds worse than this! I love the evolution of this once mighty band! thanks for uploading! LONG LIVE QUEENSRYCHE!!!!
WTF? Been a fan for over 30 years. Remember guying The Warning on vinyl. Have never heard this. Definitely used some riffs for the Mindcrime album. Very cool!
Interesting to hear how demo-songs transform to other songs, this will be Anarchy X at Mindcrime as everyone knows. I know I´m not the only one, but how could the band leave this path? Now, the end is well known: a divided band, a destroyed image and who knows what the future will bring. THIS were the real Queensryche: 1. EP, The Warning, Rage For Order, Operation:Mindcrime and Empire had it all, then a different band took the name Queensryche and released crappy albums. Hope they read this
I wish the would remix and the entire Rage For Order album. It is my favorite by the band, but need the bass jacked way up in the mix and the highs need more bite to them. The whole thing just sounds muffled to me.
I have to say that I agree with you. To me, the only Queensryche that ever existed was the band who recorded Empire and everything before it. Promised Land was ok, but everything that followed was mediocre at best (with a few random good tracks here and there). I will say that Geoff's version of Queensryche kicks ass! I saw them in Columbus, OH, last night, and they blew me away. So much energy! I love the new album too. This is, hands down, the best Queensryche album to come out since Empire.
Agreed. I started losing interest after Hear in the Now Frontier. It was such an uninspired, creativeless album. DeGarmo lost interest about the same time I did, LOL.
Can't understand it ditn't make it on the album. Sounds as good as any other song on Rage for Order. But still glad it didn´t, otherwise we woudnt have Anarcy-X on Mindcrime!
I'm a huge Queensryche fan from the very beginning. You actually think this song in this form sounds good? My goodness it's terrible! I first heard this in 2000. No wonder it didn't make the cut. Becoming Anarchy X was the best use of this demo by far. Operation Mindcrime is my favorite QR album so I'm glad it turned out the way it did.
I love how they were able to incorporate the opening riff into Anarchy-X

I really wish these would be released, like the early Myth demos were.
Rage For Order is probably my favorite album of all time. You made my week, sir or ma'am!

Love the tricky odd time meter in the chorus

Incredible, of course the music it´s recognizable. Thanks for upload this demo really a piece of history.

@1981qrycher Hey, no problem. It was one of the only 'rare' Ryche demos not yet uploaded to youtube, so I figured I'd put it up.
Nice name by the way!
Holy shit. This is awesome.
The beginning was put on OMC.
If Anarchy-X and Cowboys From Hell had a baby
Was just about to upload this because I didn't think it was up yet. Saved me some time thanks man.
Best of best best!
No chance to beat
that area of metal!

It was transfered to Anarchy-X and played as an intro in Mindcrime. Awful that main song of album hasn't released
It's Mindcrime!!!!! Note for note the first 25 secs, very cool.
Best part of it is what became Anarchy X.
@ChicagoBoomBoom Anarchy-X you mean, the instrumental section before Revolution Calling.
Thanks !

Not to forget Promised Land which is a unique album on its own
What are these lyrics exactly?
thank you pygmyprawn :o)~
RAGE FOR ORDER is the LAW !!!

Can you post more Rage demos and B sides???????
Fuckin badass (Y)
@imzargontoo Heh, the internet has its upsides.
The Queensrÿche without Tate has released a kick-ass album since your comment went up, just in case you haven't checked it out.

Can anyone find me lyrics? i know its a demo, but....
Never released song. I dont know. What do you hear in these lyrics?
