  • This round sees all of the 13 available demo recordings made for Queensrÿche's 2nd album, Rage For Order. I EQ'd some of the songs a bit because of a lot of hiss being audible - most of that is gone now.

They apparently added a "middle eight" section later on. Interesting to observe the structural changes made in the studio.
    What a song.

This song is one of my very favorite songs, and has a lot of meaning to me. That extra couple lines towards the end. I have never heard. Having heard them now, kinda wish they had left them in. Except that it makes the song even more sad. Like it really is over this time.. How sad!!!! 😿😿😿🤧

Yep. They should've left them in. They added to the song, instead of detracting from it.
Still a fantastic song from a fantastic album, and one of my favorites.

The great part of demo's there the building blocks to what you ultimately lay down in the studio and a treasure trove for fans year's later. I admit the album version is better however not a damn thing goes wrong when you have one of the four horsemen of 80's metal voice's singing anything! Geoff Tate, Rob Halford, Bruce Dickinson, and RIP Ronnie James Dio.

Agreed. The entire lineup was perfect.
The level of talent was off the charts.
