i love lynda carter ever since i was a little girl watching her in one of my FAVORITE CLASSIC TV SHOWS BACK THEN WONDER WOMAN!!! SHE IS AMAZINGLY GORGEOUS!!!
Gotta love Vanessa Williams. She bounced back after a devastating scandal that would break some people, and she fought back like a tough diva That's why she plays one in most of her projects.
@@banannakis6723 Before she became Miss America she had some racy photos taken that were released after she won the crown. Back then, in the 1980s, that was considered against the rules, and they took the crown away from her.
@@brianlipensky1722 That's true, I never really saw her 80s stuff. But later in her life, the characters I know her for are her strong and capable women.
I used to bunk off school to watch this show as it was on at 2pm in the afternoon here in the UK. It blows my mind to see Vanessa Williams in this episode.
HARVEY MOORE. Could you. Please tell me why Vanessa Williams lost her Crown. And what year was it Thankyou if you can help me, know. Hope this message finds you Safe and Healthy. Best wishes from Australia. 🤗🌹🇦🇺
Because she pulls in one of those magazines like Playboy and when she won her crown two days later the magazine came out featuring her in the nude and that was against the rules so they disqualified her ..
@@micheletorimaru9348 you can find the full pagent and press conference win she lost her crown on here......we love nessa and the old 80s footage is the best.....
I liked VW much better in these days, before she became arrogant and narcissistic; I never loved her voice as a Singer, but she was spunky and fresh for tv-roles like this. …It’s pretty impossible to know how much the emotional-trauma of Life and an ongoing spotlight of Fame have effected Celebrities, if like to think that I’d respond differently (and change less) were I in their shoes - but recognize that it would effect Anyone. (Knowing more about how We Each can be shaped by stress/trauma/betrayal/danger(etc) - as seen through Celebrity and One’s Own Life-experiences gives Me better understanding about why/how Historical Figures could/must also have been effected. It’s perfectly possible that People like Ghengis Kahn, Caligula, Henry VIII, etc could have started-out being very kind-hearted and sensitive people.) Lol, deep thoughts; must be bedtime!😂😂😄😉 Thank-You for uploading!!
They looked so good in the black evening gowns at the end esp Lynda with her super fit tiny waist figure but why the rest of the time is she wearing saks 5th Avenue potato sacks???? Makes her look frumpy bulky and much older whilst Loni wears jeans and CFM boots all the time and she is 5 yrs older??? Great memories of the early to mid 80s ❤
A refreshing concept why only the one season a female double act utilising wit and wiles instead of customary car chases and shoot outs brought together by unique circumstances developing a camaraderie though a missing contrast would be a Dee Dee McCall type of streetwise wisecracking which is what Loni Anderson's Sydney character attempting to be lock picking pick-pocketing hot-wiring while Lynda Carter plays the Maddy Hayes type a high maintenance high flying photographer finding herself getting thrown against type into the world between the two co-owning a detective agency pretty much like Moonlighting though this pairing has more chemistry than the self absorbed pairing of Cybil Shepherd and Bruce Willis This one season is one of those rare treasures that attain cult status
um....you might be a little disappointed! It's ok, if you're a fan of either Loni or Lynda, but yeah, this one is a little on the grating side, agreed. Kinda cheesy 80's pap to while away 48 or so minutes.
I had the honor of meeting Vanessa Williams about eight years ago. I told her that I remembered her in this episode and she was very flattered.
Vanessa Williams is STUNNING 🤩
It's a treat to see Vanessa Williams in this episode.

Lynda Carter and Loni Anderson! Two beautiful celebrities I didn't even know worked together!👏🏻👍🏻
I knew
Very relaxing to watch
Very😊

What scandal?

@@brianlipensky1722 Oh. Well good for her bouncing back as a stronger woman after something like that.
Every movie or TV show appearance she's done since then, even this one, she's played women with some fighting spirit in them.

Bring back the 80s
Love this show.
Loved the Farrah hair. Actually everything about how women dressed then.
Good episode
I was creeped out by Billy Drago as a kid and I still am.
Billy Drago scared me in every way. He was a great bad guy. RIP
He looks like Tom Petty in a Panama Jack outfit.
Great series thank you for posting this series

Thank you for this show
I adore Loni and Lynda in this show. Never knew it existed--
Me 2 😂
When the guy took off the wig!😮
I didn't see this tv show in the 80's, fortunately I didn't miss anything.
It got canceled in a hurry.
I thought this was great that they have Vanessa Williams do this episode just after she lost her crown

This is the 2nd episode I'm watching in season1 and I'm loving every freaking second😂 thanks much
RIP Billy Drago. Played a real creepy character in this episode.
❤❤❤
15-min in, and I’m thinking: Hmmm, hired???
Vanessa Williams WowI'm here for the fashion & beauty 😍
Thank you for uploading all the episodes!!
I’ve always wanted to see this show!
Billy Drago was from a small southwest Kansas town about80 miles from where I grew up and live.
This show was so cute. I had forgotten all about it.
Nicely done

Lydia Carter stared off as singer but won a contest and became a model and actress.
Yea i remember as a kid Lynda was in a blk bathing suit promoting maybeline moisture whip lip stick.
Great vehicle for her future recording career! Shoutout to Ramon Hervey. Their partnership was gold!
Thanks for the Upload 👍!! This show is so 80"s XD I love Billy Drago as the "First" guy in white..I can tell by his facial features !! Xd
Lynda, Pamela & Vanessa.❤❤❤
Pamela?

Vanessa's voice got a lot better.
30:57 Fun Fact: This is Amy Hill’s first credited TV role! A.k.a. Teuila "Kumu" Tuileta from Magnum P.I. 📺
I was in this episode in 1983 as an extra. 4:11 seconds... The little brown skin boy

This episode aired about 2 weeks before President Reagan gave a speech at our town.
3 hot women. Yowzas!
The 80's fashion made up for the awful acting in this episode.🙄
These girls are so fool
Spanish please
Have to skip this one. Airhead dialogue in heavy makeup. Superficial inanity. But I'll try another episode - they all can't be this bad.

Think that's half the fun so bad it's good.
I like to think camp
This would have been a great show if they had cut it down to 30 minutes....as it is it's too long and drawn-out to watch....love the fashion though!
The lovely Pamela Anderson
Loni not Pamela.
🤦🏻
You would never know by this that Vanessa would go on to have an acting career but she wasn't the only bad acting in this.Still fun to watch...
I thought she was great on this show.
It’s campy but entertaining.
I think the two stars of these shows are very poor, no enthusiasm. Good airplane movie material.
I loved this show when it came on. My little 5 yr old gay self was addicted to the sophistication. What we now call “The Eleganza”.
