What is that flap under the seal you replaced I need to replace that on mine.
Does it matter what type of adhesive we use on these tasks? I'm about to replace my seals and gaskets on my 1999 Jamboree GT. Also what sites do you recommend that might have what l am about to replace. Thank you
We use Proflex for all the exterior seals, usually amazon is the best. We have some links in the description.
@@RVLivingYet . Awesome. I'll check it out. By the way do you have any videos on suggestions for weather proofing. My RV is an oldie and l get mold in rainy season. Now that the rainy season is likely over l want to start preparing to do repairs needed. Thank you

the secondary rubber seal on the wall of my RV along the length of the slide out is failing ( 16' ) so when the slide is open and it rains, the rainwater breaches the second lateral layer of rubber that is supposed to stop rainwater from the interior RV wall ( I hope I explained that adequately ) the rubber looks strong and intact, so I am not sure if I need to replace it. the YT videos for adjusting the chains are hard to understand and I am not sure that I am able to adjust the slide out to slope down and out and away from the RV. Incindently, I had to tear out and rebuild a new interior wall on the roof out of " L " shaped aluminum to stop the water, but I still have not solved my problem.
