This is the most fun- to-watch "actual play" I've ever seen. Gotta get this game now. Thanks for not wasting time with mumbling and rolling up characters before starting the scenario. Straight into the action is the way to go.

Abigail: "Oh, Skedazzles!" That is freakin' hilarious!!! You gals are great roleplayers! I've been running Call of Cthulhu games since 3rd edition (about 1986 in high school) for my friends. It's been my experience that it's hard to find female players (let alone the guys) that can/will actually roleplay , and it's refreshing to see you all acting and enjoying yourselves so much! Cheers to you all!!!
How is it I've only just come across this? Pure gold! The most amazing RPG campaign I ever played in was 'Horror on the Orient Express.' I am all on board for this - the acting is exceptional.
Only saw this now but these ladies are excellent rpers, they get into their parts. Some of these you-tube RPG vids have such boring players. This was fun to watch!
These ladies are pure gold the way they role play their characters, each with their unique quirks that sets them apart and makes them likeable! I'm looking forward to the next episode and I'm going to binge watch the entire anthology series. Thanks for sharing the madness with the rest of us! :D
So glad I found this channel! You gals are amazing at storytelling and roleplaying. I'm really digging it. Congratulations for the awesome content. I'll surely marathon this campaign! :)
I loved so much to know Becca Scott is a keeper of CoC! I love her and her work on the Two Broken Girls. She is so beautifull and i feel so closely to her now.
This was awesome, ladies! I noticed the view count was low but I hope this continues. The accents and costumes were great... especially Gina wow. Love the system too... it doesn't seem too complicated and it lets you play the type of character you want.
The view count is low also 'cause i can't find the video in their channel, i had to google becca scott chtulhu 'cause i saw the streaming starting but i couldn't watch it right away.
@@Ganondorf84 YT messed things around so now you have to go to videos & then change Uploads to All whatevers & then scroll down to Past Live Streams. If you're subscribed, just go to your Subscriptions page & it'll be there when it's live and also when a schedule is posted for it. You can also click on the bell icon & change that to All to get notifications for when new stuff goes up.
@@Ganondorf84 Thanks for the feedback! UA-cam does make it tricky. We tweet out the specific link before showtime, as well as dual streaming to twitch. As soon as the video ends it takes several hours to process, but then we feature the new video on a playlist so it's easy to find from our main YT page. Sorry for any confusion!
I used to play by candlelight about 25 years ago, watching you all play is great entertainment! I must commend the keeper and the cast on a job well done.
We are so fortunate that exceptionally talented people like Becca and her crew are getting into the game. Thank you for running this Becca and for playing Gina, Amy, Whitney, and Stef! I am so looking forward to watching the other episodes. Bravo!
Great gang of gals doing awesome roleplaying! ^^, love the performance 👏😁 01:55:45ish what do you do after the prof loses his head? And they go uhhhmmm... but the outrage earned when they are proposed to stay the night with the two men and creature at the dingy appartment 😆
Hi new to this, can I ask which platform do you use to host?. You seem to have great video connection to players I have been using skype, but picture and connection quality an issue. I am going to be dm'ing soon and need to find a stable platform
Was pretty good, but I have to admit that the sanatorium orderlies just showing up out of nowhere was rather nonsensical... I get the keeper trying to move the story along but the resolution of that scene was weird.
Hello! Landed here through Stream of Blood (to which I finally got up to the last episode of the Neptune Society "The Earth is a box of bees, part III"). Nice job as first time keeper, Becca! (second time technically when taking in account "Paper Chase"). Love the players and there dynamic and I like the scenario. I have just one little question, if you do not mind. I have both the Keeper's Rulebook and the Investigator Handbook, but I could not find the Consultant-template that miss De Vivo used. Was it custom-made or is it based on an existing template where one can choose several skills (eg. Laboratory assistant, Researcher, Scientist, etc.) Thanks in advance and keep up the good work!!! ^_^
I've run this exact scenario before and was so intrigued how you ran it differently than I did. From how Enid's personality differed and how the players responded to certain clues and approached the problems. The gunshot against the Byakki would have ended up aggravating the creature and it would have attacked Eloise. I guess if you don't want dead investigators, it makes sense to gloss over that
Sanity loss for huge monster bursting through the window and tearing the Doc apart seems kinda low. I mean... imagine that would actually happen. Would you ever recover from that? No offense, just seems weird to me that full on mythos confrontation with bestial murder doesn't hit a little harder ;)
Eloise's binary of "solve it with cash or solve it with bullets" is just *chef's kiss*
*Eloise puts away her wallet* "I'm sorry you feel that way..."
Randomly came across this and I'm actually running this next week so this is the perfect research for it!

I love these ladies. They are so good at RP and really lean into their characters. I want Ep. 2!!!

1925, height of Prohibition: "I never go anywhere without my brandy." Well, she's rich, she can get away with that.
DM really keeps the game rolling at a good pace.

It's really a blast to see Becca get exited about gore and dismemberment :D
"Put some cocaine on it" - peak early 20th century medicine right there!
Pure Beccatastic fun! That was great, hope you get a chance to carry on!

I found that to be highly entertaining, I love call of cthulhu anyway but you guys were great and those 3 hours just flew by.
This is so so good! I love the ladies and their characters. 😍 I hope this will be a long series! Great GMing by Becca.
Loved this CoC session, looking forward to seeing more 💀😁👍
I am so late to this party but WOW these women are FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!
Stef had me in stitches every time she opened her mouth what a blast to watch you all!
this is a good show needs more views

I can't get over how much the Keeper's rough-and-tumble Bostonian impression sounds like just normal Laura Bailey, it shocked me at first lol
Fantastic! This was so much fun to watch! Happy to see you all doing the thing : )
I love, love, love, love, love these ladies - beside "Stream of Blood" this is now a stream I will definitely follow 💕

"You're in big trouble, young man! And we're here to....collect!" Made me LOL. Well played Whitney.
Basically the best thing on any tube
It's difficult to find a good CoC game online. This one goes to the top of the list!
Beautifully roll played, must try Call of Cthulhu.
Stream starts at 5:10
Thank you!
I can't threaten to riot if Becca dies in this one. But if Evelyn dies I am throwing a chair.
Great gang of gals doing awesome roleplaying! ^^, love the performance 👏😁

"It makes a sound like macaroni & cheese!"
I'm gonna have to use that in one of my games, now. xD

Aww, man! Ended just as it was getting exciting. Where is part two???
Really nice and entertaining performance
Ruth...Does this thing have a mama? Is it coming back to the old lady's house? (insert OH SHIT! expression on Abigail's face)
Stef's Fargo accent was perfect dontcha know.
"I don't think we're equipped to handle the mother horse dragon bat teeth"
"I got a d6 and I got a 6. Fuck." I was dying lmaoooo
By Zod I've missed y'alls.
35:30
"You gotta bat the lashes."
Proceeds to do her best Jeremiah Denton impression.
Oh, this is gnarly. I love it.
i love this!
Evelyn is the best character. Just a bundle of pent up frustration waiting to explode in intimidating pontification!
This is my new favorite thing.
Ruth bleeker, fantastic job!
That Minnesotta accent is very Canadian 😂😂
Oh god, I moved away from Minnesota decades ago and Abigail’s accent is triggering my PTSD.
Mary adding insult to injury
Ha! Andrew Leman would be amazed!
Love this! Any chance it could become a regular Call of Cthulhu game?
01:12:13 What the hell, is that moonshine?? lmao haha
I'm torn between Becca being totally charming and about to sneak on me and stab me while I'm not looking.
Seriously cool play Thanks for making me laugh my ass off....
Great vid!
Rule #1 Run first, question later.
4 aliens pretending to be humans xD

Good RP!

Does anyone know if they are using the new (to me) 7th Edition CoC rules or the Pulp Cthhulhu rules?
Pardon the very late reply. This is 7th ed.

"now I'm just quoting WAP"
Bucolic.. lol
Do us northerners really sound like that?
Nope, nope, we don't. But I can appreciate the humor of the stereotype.
