One of the best things about living in the United States is its proximity to Mexico. Mexico’s diversity in climate, topography, and geography is something to behold. The people are wonderfully hospitable, and I can feel right at home the minute I get off the plane. As you’ve mentioned many times in your fantastic videos, the prices can be reasonable and even low in some cases (unlike in the US). The food is gorgeous everywhere you go both in restaurants and also shopping at the local markets. The produce is so beautiful, it’s almost unrecognizable after having shopped for years in the US. It’s so easy to get around, you really don’t need a car anywhere. I’m reluctant to mention all these things, because the secret is going to get out. I think the “wall” was meant to keep the people on the North side in. Happy trails, guys.
My hubby(he's Mexican) and I have watched you from the very beginning and have been so completely happy for you both in taking that leap and doing things out side the box at such a nice young age. You seem to be really enjoying life and we are happy that you guys were able to completely change your lives by moving to such a amazing country. We also are from California and moving to Mexico in about 3 years... CANNOT WAIT but until then we will keep enjoying your adventures and wish you both all the best. Your amazing humans and a super cute couple....
I first read this as a wee lad and it stuck with me: "Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime." ~ Mark Twain Your new project is 20 years too late for me but I wish you MUCHO EXITO!
Same reasons why we moved our family abroad. My little one was 5 when we moved so, he doesn`t understands or remembers how hard it was to dine out and have water and no dessert with your meal because of cost. He`s now 14 and we`re moving to explore Mexico this time. We, as a family out growing Colombia ( been there done that). We are also planning many trips now that our kids are older and they will enjoy it much more.
Your reasons are correct. My boyfriend and I moved to Queretaro in June and we love it. You are so right about the food so much healthier, taste better and not processed. Once again great video.
Yes, Im planning on moving to Mexico very soon and I mean within a year. My plan is that by next year around this time I will be living in Mexico, not sure yet where in Mexico but it's going to be in Mexico. I too live in Los. Angeles at the moment, but the more I watch your vids the more excited I get and can't wait to move to Mexico, work remotely, make American $$ and save money and live comfortably in Mexico. Thank you so much for all your advise and inspiration.
I love this video! Thank you so much...I see myself living there at some point. Ive been there a few times with ancestry there as well. It does feel like a better quality of life on many levels. Im a Yoga teacher and would love to bring this to Mexico creating a loving community. I really appreciate you both and your experience. Bless.
You guys inspire me so much to move to Puerto Vallarta, I have been thinking about it for a while, , I will make sure to go check your new websites!! Thanks for sharing all the infos !!
Congrats on your new online community! We're so impressed with how industrious you are! We've been wanting to live abroad for years and when we finally did it it was totally by accident, but it's been such a great experience. Definitely agree with your points - especially about having more empathy. Living in a Spanish speaking country, I have a whole new level of respect for those that have English as a second language.
Hi ya guys. Looking forward to the Mexico City vlogs. I totally agree 💯 % that if you are interested in moving abroad do it. Make that first step to make it happen. Guys, you seem to forget a very important fact. You earn US salaries and spend it in Mexico. So you have a distorted view of how "cheap" things cost in Mexico and you're gentrifying the areas where you live hence driving up the prices for the average middle class Mexican. Just keep that in mind.
Hey Julio - we clearly stated that a couple of times. We’re definitely aware of that privilege and do our best to mitigate our impact by shopping locally and supporting family owned businesses.

Hello gents would you know of any American company that would allow you to work out of the country? Unfortunately my type of work here in Los Angeles doesn't allow me to work remote so I would love some leads. Thank you for all the information 🙏
Sure! There's tons of options - start by Googling "remote work" and plenty of job board sites will pop up. A good one we've used is remoteok.io

Thank you for your videos, absolutely love them. There's so much content to share, and I understand how long it takes to edit videos, but I wouldn't complain if you made two a week 👍.

Hola handsomes 😎
Guys, you seem to forget a very important fact. You earn US salaries and spend it in Mexico. So you have a distorted view of how "cheap" things cost in Mexico and you're gentrifying the areas where you live hence driving up the prices for the average middle class Mexican. Just keep that in mind.
Hey Julio - we clearly stated that a couple of times. We’re definitely aware of that privilege and do our best to mitigate our impact by shopping locally and supporting family owned businesses.
