Did you have to let some air out of your tires to drive on the soft sand? My wife and I have thought about going to OBX or Cape Lookout but I am hesitant about driving in the sand with my F250 and if it would be easier to get bogged down, especially since it's a diesel.

You can air down just fine, there's many many diesel super duties out there on the beach. Currituck visitor center recommends heavy duty trucks air down to 35 at a maximum, but I've been as low as 20 in sugar sand. No problem.

Hey, great setup with the new mod cap. Question: on the water tank, I see you have the new alu cab full Molle panel, which is one piece unlike the 3 pieces of 813 fab. My question is, can mount the joolca hot water heater right on the alu cab Molle, or was there some other plate or Molle needed from 813 to accomplish this

Josh has the 813 panels installed for the Joolca. I have not seen the Alu-Cab panels in person yet for measurements, but I believe it is going to take some drilling or large MOLLE hole adapters in order to mount the Joolca quick mount due to the spacing their panels have compared to the 6-hole pattern the Joolca mount has.

@@813fabricationanddesign that’s great to know, I’m a huge fan of your bolt lock for the camper. Made the camper so much more accessible compared to having to use a master lock. Is there a way to mount the 813 joolca panel on top of the canvas bag of the water tank, might be a silly question

@@JD.12 Thanks! Glad you like the deadbolt. You may be able to mount the tank only bracket over the bags but I have not tested it. I am not sure how deep the plate for the bags sits over the tank. Message me on the website and I can try to help

Ironically, you are surrounded by water you can't use, but it's where you need the most water. Probably a 25 gallon minimum would be best
