We spent the holiday of July 4th on Ocracoke and stayed the national park campground. Had some awesome local food on the island and had over a quarter mile of beach to ourselves.
I had a project on the US Coast Guard dock near the Hatteras Ferry about 20 yrs ago. I’ve always wanted to go back. So jealous you guys are so close but I get to enjoy the videos.
A Big THANKS to Josh for sharing his lovely Mrs. with us (and showing her off to make many jealous, I might add....) Letting the young guys know that good ones are out there somewhere, but that requires patience. I haz an ENVY!!! Putting my Rig together for Democrat Point and Gilgo Beach and Montauk, here on Long Island. 4X4 Fishing permit required here and we MUST be equipped to fish, including state licenses.. Airing Down is mandatory and 35x12.5 is the largest tires we can use. Surf's Up! And there's a lot biting right now! Even if we catch NOTHING... There's no better place to wake up, with the breeze off the ocean and coffee on the stove!
