Feeling a lot of connection with this message. I've been in that place both in professional and personal life. Pushing and encouraging others, getting more excited than they are, leading to me being frustrated... Now I try not to take for myself the potential excitement for other people's projects in life and work. But it's still tempting, because I enjoy so much seeing others grow and succeed at what they thought would be a dream! It's good advice here. Thanks for the video 👍
So true. I guess many of us found themselves mentoring people who are not deserving our efforts and passion. Took me some time, but slowly had to learn to detach my passion from their negativity and focus on those who do want to learn. The worst thing is there is usually a boss who doesn't take action against those 'energy vampires' whatever they do, because for a boss it is easier to be liked by everyone.... And you're left with the task of getting something out of those elements .
Thank you Conor, there is a saying in my country... "You can take a horse to the well but you cannot make him drink water".
One must be intrinsically motivated and desirous of change.

Great message Professor, I have missed the 15 times you have been to Uruguay. I invite you to visit our city, Salto Uruguay, on your next visit to Uruguay. I wish we could have him in our city to help us be better. Our city has the highest unemployment rate in the country. It would be nice to learn from you. I am his fan and I use several of his videos in my aviation school.
