    I'm working on our basement bathroom and it has good pipes and all. We're not paying for a remodel. Clean and go. YES!

    Looks great. If you wanted to replace the drain and the chipped paint around drain, they make appliance paint for that. It works great.

    Very good idea, I’ve got a white farmhouse sink. The rust stains was caused by an aluminum bake pan.

    You don’t just sprinkle salt on a lemon silly 🙃. There’s a reason it took you forever 😂. You make a paste of salt and enough lemon juice to make a thick paste, which you apply to the rust and LEAVE for 15mins or so, then scrub off.

    • @flikflik1976
      @flikflik1976 2 роки тому +1

      And then would you ALSO use the CLR or is the lemon juice-salt paste enough?

    You need to replace the chrome-plated steel outlet with a stainless or brass one - even if this means taking the bath out so you can access the outlet shaft underneath the bath. No sense just cleaning a rusty old outlet insert.

      For really tough jobs try using bleach first, let it soak for a bit (at least an hour or up to 3 hours) then use the clr and let it sit again for the same amount of time. A bit time more consuming but works

    il faut prendre de l'acide chlorhydrique pour nettoyer. Bien aérer pendant l'opération :-)
    Ensuite, au quotidien, il faut nettoyer ton évier avec du vinaigre blanc et bien essuyer avec un linge apres chaque utilisation, cela evite au calcaire de se deposer.

    Ever have this problem again try bar keepers friend(the powder one) and it'll come off a lot faster. I had this problem with the sinks in the house we recently moved in to and I tried everything and got tires of scrubbing. I remembered I had some bar keepers friend I had bought and never used and with maybe 5 back and forth motions it was gone.

      I heard great things about bar keepers friend! I think it was actually what I originally went looking for when I picked up the CLR but my grocery store didn't have it and I didn't want to make a special trip to another store to find it. I will definitely keep it in mind for the future. Thanks!

    Another fast and cheap way is to use sandpaper and soap. Fine grade sandpaper
