Just plain hot water will do that. That's only a bit of dust not real dirt or rust stain

It is better to put vinegar first to avoid washing away baking soda by vinegar.

First use baking soda not powder. Try using a wet sponge or rag before piling on the powder and vinegar...wiping all that goop is just making extra work.

Baking soda & vinegar neutralize to create regular water... All you did was use something abrasive, the baking powder, to "sand" your surface with water.
