Another great video! Nice to see some older style weapons. By the way, you may already know this, but the type of holster you're wearing, a drop or buscadero, wasn't really a thing until the 1950s. There was a US Army drop rig for the 1911 starting in 1912, but that's an auto, of course. The standard rig for a pre-1920s revolver would have been right up on the belt, like a Mexican loop etc., and the belt worn at the waist. With that setup drawing is not a problem, so no leg tie needed. Also: if you wear a buscadero on a horse you're going to dump your iron right on the ground. Now, if the project calls for a 50s-60s TV/film western look/vibe, then the buscadero is spot-on.

Pietta does make colt saa’s and civil war bf revolvers for a more authentic replica. They’re expensive as hell though. They’re also chambered for 380 blanks.

The bruni brand has a front fire version as well than the top venting

Yeah, many of the Bruni and Kimar guns were made as front fire in Europe and then adapted to be top vent for the US... and in the semiauto ones they also went from 9mm to 8mm as a part of that. Not sure why.

@@pewtube The craziest thing is when I bought a front fire version I bought blanks from Las Vegas called Western States props They don't sell 380 9mm, but they have colt 38 caliber that can fit into a 380 blank gun. But it barely fits into the gun so what I did was I customised it and I made the chamber a bit bigger And it fires pretty good They're all custom load rounds your choice of full, half, or primer load

This video might blow up soon, check out the craziness that just happened with Alec Baldwin on set. Still early so don't want to speculate but something went terribly wrong and I'm sure a lot of people will want possible explanations.

Yeah... no reason he should have been aiming at unprotected crew members anyway, but multiple things have to go wrong for people to get hurt. Police are looking into what the "projectile" was. Projectile just means what went flying, not necessarily something designed to do so. I'd guess they're trying to figure out if the crew members were struck with bullets (like Brandon Lee, which was a series of screwups but ended up meaning a blank round launched a bullet that was lodged in the barrel, or if someone loaded the wrong ammo) or debris (a gun barrel got shoved in the dirt, and then when fired launched those little rocks or whatever else was lodged in the barrel) or something else (like brass bits from crimp blanks that broke off, or wadding).
