Great stuff man honestly! Glad you’re back. Just a quick note, your speedflips could look a bit more clean and consistent when you diagonal flip somewhere between 20-30° and pull it back (to cancel) on the same side as you initially initiated the flip. So basically diagonal flip at 10-11 o’clock and cancel at aprox 19 o’clock. It’s the fastest way to speedflip.
Woah i tried this out and it actually works really well! Testing this kickoff and it seems like its still basically the same speed as the one I laid out in the video, but I can definitely see how you can be more consistent with this style so ill pin your comment 😁
@@CalvinIsBadNews also, I wanna add that you don't have to use air roll left or right, I personally use the manual air roll button so I can flick in both directions and it works fine (maybe i'm doing it wrong ?)
@@ayau1310 ApparentlyJack uses manual air roll in speed flips. With that in mind, you're doing fine. :D
@@ayau1310 You’re doing great dude. Actually your way of speedfliping is the best way (not the easiest) but the best. Now make sure to frontflip at a 20° angle and cancel at about 19°
@@CalvinIsBadNews Awesome, glad I could help there. It’s a tiny bit faster if pulled off correctly. On Musty’s Trainingpack you can hit the ball at 1.9667s (it’s the fastest possible way atm). This way for speedfliping is truly the most consistent and fastest ;)

I think the best speed flip tutorial ever done
With a Speedflip you want to actually just cancel the diagonal flip straight down. This is because your car will flip up slightly at the end of the flip with only a diagonal cancel, but when you cancel downwards, your car still has the sideflip part of the diagonal and not the frontflip part of the flip. This excelerates your speed more, and makes it much faster. The fastest version of a speedflip is only possible when you cancel straight down.

Good vid. For some reason, my speed flip looks really strange, even though I'm doing all the steps and am consistent. Whereas you sort of whipped the front of your car forward and to the left my speed flip looks like a side flip, except it isn't a side flip. Do proper ones have to look like the one that your were doing? Does it make a different if I'm using a keyboard and mouse as my controller?

lol i've won kickoffs in champ using the wave dash kickoff... it's cuz people don't do it correctly
you hold boost and tilt down, so you're in the air for less time. It's really consistent, and I think it'd be a really easy way for the low rank players who can't speed flip yet to rank up.

Dont need it, im gc1 div4 in 2s too, cant speed flip, Im doing block kick off that work against mid ssls. (Im in Rumble gc3-ssl) thats why I know it
The only people who can counter perfect speedflip kickoffs are people who SUPER delay. i think the sweet spot is 1 ball length away and double or single jump (or flip into the ball). But yeah, as you said. 90% of the time, ball goes on their side. and about 55% of the time its a BANGER to their corner or mid waterfall that either I or my tm8 can follow up (or attempt to).
And this is against mainly C2's, when im up against an ssl, i can still definitely beat them on kickoff most of the time. but it goes from 90% to like 60%. They have their kickoffs down to a science.
mostly because i think if im not super focused on perfectly speedflipping any little error can throw off everything lol

Btw I do use wave dash kickoffs on my weaker side still and while I agree that speed flips are always gonna win that battle.. wave dash actually does win out or at least work well enough, you just have to boost back down to the ground instead of jumping and waiting forever to land. Do the tiniest jump you can possibly do and boost downwards to the ground then wave dash.. the way shown in this video will lose every time though lol

@@twopolaar599 Gives you perfect accuracy on where you contact the ball also allows the ball to go past you to your mate in 3s or easily place it left/right

very good tutorial but i would recomend training only diagnal flip cancel and airoll first to get muscle memory and then learning the whole speedflip.

is there an effective counter for speedflips? i front flip into kickoffs when my opponent has better kickoffs than me and and it always dunks them. It’s important that i flip early so I dont get dusted or dunked. does this only work because people suck at speed flips at my rank? (c1-2)

i can alraedy speedflip but i mostly miss the ball on the kick off or i just dont go faster than the enemy thats just boosting in......

i dont know if he said this but you have to hold powerslide at the end of the flip
The wave dash kickoff is good if you do a small jump, point your nose down, boost and when you are almost close to the ground, quickly flick your nose up and wait for the back wheels to hit the ground, then front flip forward, making a wavedash. ONLY use this to change up your kickoffs to be more unpredictable. LEARN HOW TO SPEEDFLIP

SPPEDFLIP HELP! - I realized after a few months that my speedflip wasn't going as fast as it should have been because i was letting of the boost for 1 millisecond when i hit my button for the flip. After realizing that and holding boost the entire time, my speedflip improved dramatically. Hope this helps someone figure out what they're doing wrong as well! I realized it because I could not hit the first ball in the musty speedflip pack consistently. After realizing my boost issue i am now hitting it 95% of the time. :)
How were you able to hold down the boost the whole time and be able to hit jump?

I hope you found your answer already, but... I think B is the default for boost? I change mine to R1 too, however.

After watching about 3 million speed flip tutorials and not being able to achieve it, I'll try this one or I'll declare my controller broken and buy a new one, in KBM is super easy but I don't like KBM.
so I notice that u have same controller that I have so I have a question . my controller can't cancel the flip so even back flip is impossible for me . any help plz ( d1 and i can back flip normal with keyboard )
