There’s a video of a doctor talking about the eye drops and how it could be affecting the melanin in the back of the eye which is really bad. This stuff is NOT safe. I want lighter eyes as well , but losing vision is simply not worth it . Just get some colored contacts ❤
I used them for a month before they ran out and they also worked on me. I used to have dark brown eyes and by the end of the month I could see the distinction of my pupil and the iris standing in the mirror. It’s pretty crazy, no changes to vision though for me I just woke up everyday with dry eyes but that was it.
So basically use it for a special occasion, but don’t think this is an option for the rest of your life. Also, it does make sense that there is a visual effect, given what we know about how melanin can protect people’s eyes from light. Also, melanin will regrow and reproduce pretty quickly… it is non negotiable in our genetics. You can lighten and darken skin but it will go back to the way it was- otherwise known as healing itself.
For people in the comments please do not use these drops please!! They arent safety approved and can have dangerous effects on you depending on your body. Eyes are one if the most important part of your body if you effect those for a simple want or insecurity of wanting different coloured eyes you are crazy. You are quite literally tampering with your ability to see. I think if it came down to having different coloured eyes or having sight ill pick my sight.

I used them as a black person with deep brown eyes. It did work but very little change with one bottle for $80. I knew it was going to take a lot more to see a significant change but I didn’t want to spend hundreds of dollars so I stopped.
I do not understand why anyone would want to change their eye color to the point that you would potentially buy a substance you do not know what may happen. Black and brown color eyes are beautiful love yourself

I was thinking about buying these and started doing some research, you need to be informed before trying something like this because you are dealing with your eyes. Research states that these types of drops destroy the melanin in the eye which can lead to eye problems/blurred vision and even glaucoma because it also destroys the melanin in the back of the eye. You did good to stop using them.
to me light eyes are freaky looking, depending on the color. i never understood the appeal. brown eyes were never boring
