I volunteer with foster children, who are often actual victims of exploitation and abuse. To say that a boy playing dress up in a tutu is "sexualization" and "child exploitation at its worst" is unhinged.

Let kids be kids, dress them in clothing they feel comfortable in that they can play without flashing anyone, don’t worry about the “statement” it is making, and stop trying to make money off of them. The problem is that now your son would be encouraged by everyone to come out as trans, and encouraged to transition to a girl. The ad isn't some innocent little boy playing dress-up. He's been given those clothes to wear for a photo shoot - to push the trans ideology. ADULTS told him to wear those clothes. ADULTS staged that set, picked the outfit, and took the photos. No child is transgender. They're children and have no sexual identity.
Puberty blockers, hormones and removing of body parts is ABUSE with lifelong ramifications. It is NOT for children. And this entire transgender ideology we're seeing needs to be fought against as hard as we fight against all other child abuse! I don't know anything about the million moms group - but I agree in boycotting Aveeno and any other company that pushes this transgender abuse on our children. Let children be children and let them grow up naturally to become who they are to become. And love them every step of the way.

As you described it will cause withdrawals of the drug - specifically "rebound redness."

And the comments were all praising her for how natural her routine was, and I was like - is this some kind of inside joke? Even if we assumed that natural was inherently better, how is any of this natural at all??? Particularly those shady eye drops. I was baffled. Is anybody going to point out that historically, the people who did the most research about changing eye color from dark to light were, umm… from Germany… During WWII… so like that’s a cool idea… but the research that was done *at that time* was cruel beyond measure and human imagination. So it’s sort of tainted the idea of changing eye color for me. The idea of permanently changing eye color, for me, has been permanently tainted with that legacy. I understand that some other research from that time is still actually used (how to treat hypothermia for example) but changing eye color, at that time, was inherently about race. I really don’t know if permanently changing eye color from darker to lighter could ever be removed from that history.

I need to say with my background in early childhood education/childrens services - when I had the children I taught/cared for, whenever there was a dress up rack and free play time. All the young boys (ages 3 to 5yo), would *always* fight over the tutu's and wedding dresses, or concoct their own outfit like a hard hat with a dress and toolbelt, etc. And they would want to wear them *all* day. Which of course jone of us had an issues with and of course it had no detrimental effect on *any* of the children in our care.
However, a *lot* of mothers who would collect said chidlren at the end of the day, would freak out at the fact their son was wearing a tutu or dress or whatever and say "Quick! Take that off before your father sees it/hears about this".
You would see the sheer confusion and worry spread across the small childs face as their mother tries ripping off their "costume" - as that's all it was, a "costume".
We even had a few fathers come to collect the children and they would very gruffly say things like "Better take that off. You're not a girl" , or "Get that off! No boy of mine wears girl's stuff!". And so on.
We did try explaining to parents that this is free time play and an expression of the imagination when playing games of "dress ups" and "let's pretend" with their peers. Some even calling their outfits super hero clothes.
That this type of clothing had 0 effect on how they perceived themselves or their sexuality. As at this young age they don't really understand or comprehend all of that.
We, as carers/teachers, are allowing them to express themselves and that we would never be pushing an "agenda" but simply allowing a kid to be a kid.
Some parents were awesome about it and would just laugh at whst their kids had been up to.
Funny thing was though. Not *ONE* parent had an issue if a young girl was in the police or firemans uniform or if they were in the builders hard hat with a tool belt and so forth. That was ok. That was completely fine.
    🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️ I just couldn't understand.
This was back in 1999 to about 2006 that I witnessed this behaviour from parents.

Hello James!! I love these videos and very much appreciate the way you break things down. I live in the U.S. and groups like the "Million Moms" you mentioned are absolutely nuts, but also, indicative of some serious problems. I laugh at them too, but some of our most insidious hate groups use humor as a way to make themselves seem benign when they are anything but. That's a separate point, however ... this particular group seems comprised of those totally lacking the self-awareness to be intentionally humorous.
The thing that's wild about this particular group and similar ones who target the LGBTQ community (especially trans kids, their complete obsession) is that they reveal their own perverse thinking with the crazy things they draw from completely innocent content. Like, how does your brain automatically sexualize this innocent child content, ma'am?! They are disturbed and even though they have a huge megaphone with some of our extreme right wing media outlets, they fortunately represent a very small minority.

The rage I feel when these hate groups target totally happy children and situations and conflate ACTUAL child exploitation with simple free expression 🤬 I also just want to say that even if that child IS trans or non-binary rather than a boy, or one day realizes they are, that is still okay!!! Still non-sexual, still totally innocent. There is nothing a child can be, do, or identify as that takes that away. Too often a well-meaning pushback to things like this is, "it's totally innocent, boys/girls do this all the time and they're still boys/girls," when even if they weren't, it's still totally innocent and fine, nothing's changed. Children who are trans, non-binary, fluid, etc., or one day will land on those identities if they haven't already are no more inherently sexual or less innocent than cis children. It's beyond revolting and dangerous that these groups think like this.
Sorry for the rant, it's just been a lot here in America these last few years 😅
