How did we go back from metahuman to monetizing ordinary character again? This devaluation is just we back doing what we where before.
I understand the meaning of the term "devaluation" as you mentioned. I also respect and support the spirit of Epic Games.
However, this service requires compensation for the direct labor involved in solving the limitations of metahumans and processing user data. This service is a purchase service where direct labor is involved in providing full-body rigging for user characters that require it.
Of course, I don't intend to monetize everything. I plan to regularly host free rig offer events on this UA-cam channel in the future. Additionally, I will distribute some of the tools I've developed at reasonable prices or free. thank you for your interest!

What if I just want ue5 manny rig on my character what would that cost? I need just the manny rig because of the helper bones for deformation
If you opt to utilize UE5's basic character, Manny, as a metahuman body rig, the cost remains equivalent to that of the standard body rigging service.
for precise metahuman body rigging, we typically undergo a retopology process and ensure the correct setup of helper bones.
In the case of a character being a robot rather than a human, we'll supply a copy of the skin in its original form rather than adhering to a metahuman topology.
even though both may be bipeds, the configuration and skinning of helper bones for a robot type and a human type could vary significantly. If your character takes on a human form, it's advisable to template it accordingly, rather than opting for a robot form.
You could use the game-rig-tool for blender. Works fine for me.

Save the money and please learn some basic 3d skills. Very easy to modify the metahumans however you want, you can even get a copy of wrap4d for free.

what you're saying is correct. There are quite a few tools available to customize metahumans currently.
