It's only a fight Pyro wins if the writers love Pyro and hate Johnny but if it's a neutral writer trying to depict both of them equally, Human Torch dominates.
Pyro can't beat johnny because his weapon which is his flamethrower can be disabled and the fire can be absorbed by Johnny. So, it's going to be a battle of who has more powerful control over fire.
I mean this same channel showed Johnny as a non-mutant demonstrating power levels at the level of Omega Level Mutants. Johnny can literally make flame copies of himself or absorb fire into himself. Plus he counteracted cosmic powers like the Annihilation Wave.
4:41 this is where Marvel doesn’t understand the nature of plasma Plasma is literally identical to the powers of Wonder Man. Plasma is literally subatomic particles with various levels of charge. When you put that charge on a macro level, you get the powers of both storm and any other electrical power. You also get a compliment to ionic/plasma/electric in terms of magnetism by characters like magneto . Buddy gets even deeper, when you escalate any of those powers into the infinite degree, you can generate powers to the highest wavelength that we know of in terms of gamma rays. The gamma burst we see throughout the cosmos, the highest form of energy we know, are essentially plasma phenomena. So characters like Wonder Man, to a lesser extent Count Nefaria (who has more than wonder man’s power since he can shoot lasers out of his eyes, move as super speed in his Superman analog nature), the human torch, storm of the X-Men, the villain magneto all have powers that might be able to influence each other So, storm or Thor in their control of electricity, might be able to do something against Count Nefaria By manipulating the ionic energy Of his being This also might be the mechanism that characters like the Hulk and the red hulk are able to absorb energy. According to electrical engineering science, most of the high particle emissions throughout the universe are electrical and nature, and we generate all of those radiations on earth through electricity. So, if Johnny storm a.k.a. the human torch somehow creates plasma around himself or turns into it, then since plasma is a feature of sons and our star and plasma is identical to ionic energy, electrical characters will be able to manipulate Johnny storm the same way that Pyro has shown to manipulate his flame. The question is a important one Fuel based flame burns oxygen. Plasma based flame won’t be put out through lack of air or submersion in water Marvel is going to have to add to the backlog of no prizes it owes me
I’d find it hard to believe Pyro could best Tony Stark .. I mean in the comics you can write any outcome for any character but in this MCU we’re in I just can’t see fire really defeating the avengers … he would destroy Martian the manhunter but luckily he’s in DC and not marvel lol
You haven't shown up in my feed for a while but now that I've come back... I really like this 'feat analysis' direction. I used to read comics like mad back in the 90's but fast forward 20-30 years I only loosely follow a couple manga so the feat analysis direction also helps me as a viewer understand more of the history of these characters. Either way enjoy what you do!
Johnny Storm? More like JOBBER Storm. Poor Chris Evans Johnny...always being used to showcase how strong the enemy is. One day he'll have a PROPER adaptation again😔
Still though, it kinda sucks how quickly they dispatched Johnny Storm. I know he was played as a joke but they could’ve allowed him to take out some other villains before losing to Pyro. I mean they gave the other heroes their due. Kinda my issue with Deadpool 3, on one had it honors these cancelled versions and on the other it completely disrespects them. The FF movies might’ve been bad but the cast was great for the most part.
Lmao spider man cartoon from the 60s where he mixed asbestos into his web fluid. That's what always pops into my mind when he fights anyone with fire like powers lmao
@@Tribrid-zv3nq I didn't say he was. I said he should be. And he isn't a street-level anything. Heat manipulation is the same as Iceman just the opposite and he's omega level. Yeah Johnny can get as hot as the sun. Even stated in his own movie so there's no way Pyro should be able to drain that much from Johnny. Johnny should be able to easily overwhelm him.
Fire isn't a fundamental force of existence. There's only 4 of them and it isn't a "4 elements" type deal, either. It's more gravity, electrostatic attraction and the strong and weak nuclear forces. Don't know why the comic said that, especially since Marvel themselves tried to make a villain team who each represented each of those facets with their powers This is exactly why I have issues with Pyro being able to take out Human Torch like that. Pyro is basically an off-brand firebender and Torch can do everything Pyro can do and more.
yes, very debatable. i feel like he could probably do it too. it’s kind of a similar situation to Iceman’s case. essentially, (just like Iceman) i’m willing to bet Pyro has untapped potential where he can train to become even more powerful. iirc, in other iterations of Iceman’s potential, he can slow down the molecules of a whole town or bigger. been awhile, but i think it’s something along those lines
I disagree with Pyro being able to extinguish The Human Torch's abilities....Human Torch has Cosmic elements....like smoke screens without flames that can radiate heat....Pyro cannot lower his temperature....(meaning) the Human Torch can make him have a Heat stroke
No tf he doesn't 😂😂 This fight leans very heavily towards Johnny Storm. Johnny is significantly stronger and faster than Pryo, and he can absolutely speedblitz him. Pyro can still be burned by fire he doesn't control, but Johhny is completely immune to fire, so while he most likely could manipulate Johnny's fire, he has no way of actually harming him since his only form of offense is fire. Also, Johnny could potentially create fire so powerful that Pryo can't control.
In my opinion the whole cosmic aspect of the fantastic 4 should be looked more into like johnny can take all the energy of a nuke but only is abk=le to make flames, i hope one day they amp him up so is just basically a lesser silver sulfer or captain marvel who focus more on the energy aspects versus having super stregnth with it
That makes sense but also it doesn't because how can johnny no control the fire that literally is encasing his body. It feels like he should be able to since he would burn alive otherwise. and he can go supernova! I mean can Pyro control the SUN!!!!? Let’s be real!
Not to mention they're basically saying that spiderman's fire retardant webs are stronger than the human torch's fire while pyro is controlling it. .....ugh, comics
If the flames coat Johnny then moving the flames would just move them off of him and Johnny would secrete more flames. There's potential for this to be cool, like siphoning off all of Johnny's power, Pyro freaking out because he's holding a couple sun's worth of power and can't control it with the rest of the F4 to show up and help the situation but the writing is just inconsistent and lazy, the editor was asleep to approve this crap lol.
In real life: have you ever heard of "Human combustion"? Not sure how real it is, but ppl just bursting into flames basically, of course they un-alive but imagine if it could be controlled

@@alphacanine1014 he really doesn't. Johnny can manipulate flames as well as absorb it. He's a better version of Pyro in every way. Any fire that Pyro doesn't manipulate can and will hurt him. He can only control flames. Johnny can generate flames and even go supernova. He can manipulate them and absorb them. This isn't a fight that Pyro can win.
Happy Tuesday y'all, hope you have a blessed day.
"lick cinnamon hole clean" and "Bald Hell" 😂
4:41 this is where Marvel doesn’t understand the nature of plasma
Plasma is literally identical to the powers of Wonder Man.
So characters like Wonder Man, to a lesser extent Count Nefaria (who has more than wonder man’s power since he can shoot lasers out of his eyes, move as super speed in his Superman analog nature), the human torch, storm of the X-Men, the villain magneto all have powers that might be able to influence each other
So, storm or Thor in their control of electricity, might be able to do something against Count Nefaria By manipulating the ionic energy Of his being
This also might be the mechanism that characters like the Hulk and the red hulk are able to absorb energy.
The question is a important one
Fuel based flame burns oxygen. Plasma based flame won’t be put out through lack of air or submersion in water
Marvel is going to have to add to the backlog of no prizes it owes me
you're getting too technical and thinking it too much. it's just comics and marvell never cared about making any powers "make sense".
Plasma and Fire aren't the same
Bro wtf thank you. I thought you were being a smart ass but as i read on i realised. Hold on, bro is talking sense
Maybe this applies to DC’s Firestorm
They let Pyro win because the cameo of Chris is costing them more money🙄
I love when 2 different characters with the same source of power. Same with thor and storm
Makes your videos more of a resource for those that have at least a passive interest in power scaling.
Agreed
So I wonder if Anchor beings is going to be similar the reaction when Doom was hoping universes killing molecule men.
Pyro got KO'ed by an Iceman headbutt.
Exactly
Pyro just needs to become obsessed with the Sun
Let's NOT let you have that dream Rob!!
"Pyro can defeat the Avengers"
Pyro when Thor summons a rainstorm and just douses the entire area:
Lmao spider man cartoon from the 60s where he mixed asbestos into his web fluid. That's what always pops into my mind when he fights anyone with fire like powers lmao
Being able to control heat automatically makes you omega level. The things that he can do are insane.
No it doesnt. Pyro aint omega level. Pyro is a low level street character
Johnny is omega level though
@@Tribrid-zv3nq I didn't say he was. I said he should be. And he isn't a street-level anything. Heat manipulation is the same as Iceman just the opposite and he's omega level. If he was used correctly then he would automatically fall in the category of omega level. If that has to be explained then you need to turn in your badge because its over for.
@@bodivanbodivan3668 no you said being able to control heat automatically makes you omega level which is wrong
@@bodivanbodivan3668 "if that has to be explained then you need turn in your badge" way to go on the offensive bud. Cant even give a good comeback lol
I couldn’t believe he shut down Jonny like that in the movie
Yeah Johnny can get as hot as the sun. Even stated in his own movie so there's no way Pyro should be able to drain that much from Johnny. Johnny should be able to easily overwhelm him.
A great question to address.
Well done.
You keep getting better.
The funniest scene had to be that Johnny storm really did talk shit about Cassandra Nova 😂😭😭😭
She deserved it
Fire isn't a fundamental force of existence. There's only 4 of them and it isn't a "4 elements" type deal, either. It's more gravity, electrostatic attraction and the strong and weak nuclear forces. Don't know why the comic said that, especially since Marvel themselves tried to make a villain team who each represented each of those facets with their powers
This is exactly why I have issues with Pyro being able to take out Human Torch like that. Pyro is basically an off-brand firebender and Torch can do everything Pyro can do and more.
Let you have your dream? No, tell the truth🤣
That Pyro's a bloody spy!
Our blood is pretty warm he could probably control that to😂
yes, very debatable. i feel like he could probably do it too. it’s kind of a similar situation to Iceman’s case. essentially, (just like Iceman) i’m willing to bet Pyro has untapped potential where he can train to become even more powerful. iirc, in other iterations of Iceman’s potential, he can slow down the molecules of a whole town or bigger. been awhile, but i think it’s something along those lines
pyro lookin like zaxx in that last panel
Could you imagine a Ghost Rider-possessed Human Torch…
I wish he used his powers more in the movie 😭
Beavis as Pyro: "FIRE! FIRE FIRE!"
Probably one of the source's of inspiration for a Secend generation Pyrokinetic fron Fire Force, but with no limits
I disagree with Pyro being able to extinguish The Human Torch's abilities....Human Torch has Cosmic elements....like smoke screens without flames that can radiate heat....Pyro cannot lower his temperature....(meaning) the Human Torch can make him have a Heat stroke
I'm just imagining Human Torch, Firestarter, Sunspot and Ghost Rider doing a 1v 4 against Pyro and him soloing all of them now.
Has he ever controlled hellfire before? That would be interesting if he hasn't.
He cant solo them
@@Azrael713 he cant. He cant control Johnny's full flames
The writer that makes that into reality would be the biggest Pyro fanboy. I don't think he can even beat any of them in a 1v1.
@@redroman4214true😅
This pyro glazing is the stuff of legend
I loved Deadpool and Wolverine but I was pretty disappointed in how they treated Johnny. The other cameos were great though
Man, I wish he and Benny saw this together. Would have loved to hear his commentary on the movie. RiP mate.
Most flame users can control fire to some extent. Pyro is lesser, because he can’t create it and isn’t immune to it.
Pyro is lowkey a Green lantern using a lighter instead of a ring... but with a big snow ball effect. Pun intended.
Sunspot vs human torch ???
I was waiting for this video. Thank you Rob I needed this video 😂😂
Uh Rob, Human Torch is out of Pyro's league. That one instance means nothing
Yeah, i hate with a passion how they did him in the Deadpool movie going up against Pyro!
The best comment I saw on the RDJ reveal was a guy simply saying "Til you're 90!?" LMFAO!!!! If you know, you know
No tf he doesn't 😂😂
This fight leans very heavily towards Johnny Storm.
Though that assumes johnny doesn't make the mistake of flying near pyro. Gravity is a harsh mistress.
"unless you've got aome trick up your sleeve." But little did Peter know, Pyro did have a trick up his sleeve.
I think Johnny is nerfed in those stories. The dude held off The annihilation wave
They need to have a run with Pyro hunting down Ghost Rider to try and control hellfire
Rob, who would win between the Human Torch and Sunspot?!
Human Torch has more and better feats
In my opinion the whole cosmic aspect of the fantastic 4 should be looked more into like johnny can take all the energy of a nuke but only is abk=le to make flames, i hope one day they amp him up so is just basically a lesser silver sulfer or captain marvel who focus more on the energy aspects versus having super stregnth with it
Awesome!
That makes sense but also it doesn't because how can johnny no control the fire that literally is encasing his body. It feels like he should be able to since he would burn alive otherwise. and he can go supernova! I mean can Pyro control the SUN!!!!? Let’s be real!
Pyro taking over Phoenix?? OP!
U love that pyro has the ability to control fire to that level
Pyro was never supposed to be that strong.
You bringing up spider man and talking about Johnny story reminds me of when we had to race him in the ultimate Spiderman game
In real life: have you ever heard of "Human combustion"? Not sure how real it is, but ppl just bursting into flames basically, of course they un-alive but imagine if it could be controlled
Yeah, Imagine if fire did not actually have to burn something in order to continue. Sorry, I just cannot do that.
wild, he did this in Wolverine and Deadpool
Galactus vs The Witness from Destiny 2
I wasn't sure how much I liked this scene in the movie but now i feel better bout it, thanks for educating me Rob
You're easily misinformed and not very good at deciding a winner
Only in comics can webs actually hurt Johnny storm hahahaha what a joke those webs will be burned to ashes
Thanks for this video on how Pyro can dominate Johnny Storm.
Except he cant
Thanks for this great, prescient video, Rob! :)
Never thought I'd ever see Cassandra Nova vs. Human Torch on the big screen but here we are😂
