I never thought Pyro would be back in Deadpool and Wolverine and that’s another Fox X-Men veteran to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe

They could have recast pyro for deadpool and wolverine and no one would have bat an eye, but the fact they got Aaron Stanford to come back and reprise his role is amazing and kinda wholesome

It's awesome having Wolverine back, but having Pyro back is the cherry on top.

@@LisaAnn777 There are a few mutants who use fire in the x-men franchise, but unlike the other three mutants who come to mind (fire fist, sunspot, sunfire) Pyro can’t create fire, he can only manipulate it.

His Inability to make fire allowed him to practice and become an artist with fire making all sorts of shapes and forms of fire
I've always wanted redemption for Pyro and have him develop his power to diversify his use of it. If he could harness fire to somehow generate more force behind any physical activity he would do so he could use fire to somehow run faster and punch stronger. Have a force field of fire for defensive situations. Like a inversion of what Iceman does with ice but with Fire.

I think that’s what Ice man meant when he said should have never left . Ice man was in training and would study his powers where as pyro chose a life of crime with magneto. If he would of stayed he would be able to do all those special tricks you mentioned in your comment

If he only knew that.
Because fire is just ignited air, you dont need a source, u just ignite the air molecules.
As opposed to water manipulation where u actually need a source of water to manipulate.

Air has humidity, basically evaporated water. It definitely won't be enough to create the amount of ice we see in movie, but still. Plus, as far as I understand, he doesn't generate ice, but rather significantly reduces the temperature of the environment in short range by making molecules move very slow.

fire is not ignited "air". you need fuel, oxygen, and heat. He can't ignite the air because he only controls an existing flame. "ignited air" doesnt even make sense, there are no hydrocarbons to ignite in air, maybe you mean hydrogen? But even then, there is not enough hydrogen in the air to combust, you can test this out by simply lighting a fire and seeing if the whole room explodes.

I never understood why they didn’t bring Pyro into the fold for Days of Future Past, don’t get me wrong Sunspot was pretty cool (RIP Adan Canto), but I’m happy to see Aaron Stanford is returning to reprise Pyro again after all these years.
Pyro probably died in x-men 3 that’s why he didn’t come back in days of future past.

Dumbest thing in X2 was when Rogue stopped Pyro's cop barbecuing rampage, all the cops were somehow unhurt. Even though some of them had taken BLASTS OF FIRE TO THE FACE!!
Even their Glocks (plastic frames) had somehow not melted.
The dumbest thing is that it took the cops 10 years to start shooting at him 😅 and took Rogue even longer to stop him

I thought he was great. You could see the clear progression into villain from x2 to x3.
He never ended up maniuplating the fire like he did in the comics or cartoon. Where he would make these giant figures and weapons. Like horses made of fire etc. I would have liked to have seen that.

I just didn't realize they recast pyro from x2
Marvel Studios brought back Aaron Stanford from X2 United and he and Tyler Mane who played Sabertooth were the only X-Men actors to return for Deadpool and Wolverine whereas Kelly Hu Jason Flemyng Ray Park and Dania Ramirez didn’t return and were recast with different actors for Lady Deathstrike Azazel Toad and Callisto plus I already know who the new actor is for Juggernaut as Marvel Studios also recast Vinnie Jones as well
i wonder why the first one in xmen 1 didn't work out, they already gave him a small line so its not like they got the first actor not expecting him to speak at all
Wish we got to see him again in X-MEN films, I think he should've been in the resistance team in Days of future past instead of Sunspot and fight alongside Bobby against sentinels making some combos with their powers.
