Circa is such a great album as there's so many songs (nearly every one and there's 17 of them) that I really got in to. Most of it is fun upbeat funky cool tunes. I'm glad I still have this CD so can save it on any digital device and appreciate it whenever the mood strikes me. If you like this song and haven't listened to the whole album, give it a try.
first heard this song driving in Norhern CA from a Chico college station in early 90's, was hooked and bought all 3 albums and saw them several times...Get Back together!
I grew up listening to and seeing MD at shows around LA circa 1990-92. Just now rediscovering them after all these years .... shit I sound like my grandpa.... I see so many comments stating how overlooked, under appreciated, etc. Mary's Danish was treated... MAYBE THAT'S A GOOD THING!!!..... imagine if they had gotten all the exposure and riches, and attention that comes from "making it big".... IT WOULD HAVE RUINED THEM,,, just like it ruined every other 80's 90's band... THANK THE UNIVERSE that they kept their integrity, their sound, and their legacy. #fuckbeingpopular
there are songs that get stuck in your head from 20 years ago, that are just background -- then there is the one that **always** insists on getting in your face and making you sing along. loudly. it's like it smiles, winks and say's 'lets dance, bitches'. #love
I MISS THIS BAND !!!! Ahead of their time ? I don't know why they weren't huge ! BONGWATER was another band that deserved more recognition ...Although , they were a little weirder

I totally wish I had gone to see them at the 9:30 in DC when I had the chance. There was a ton of neo-Power Pop coming out of LA in the late 80's and early 90's. Too bad it all got swept away by grunge.

Man the 90s had some women that could rock. Still better than anything on the now. Take me back to Lone Justice also.
