Great review! I am so wanting to try a Sherman L I'm ready to attach lead fishing weights to my Lynx trying to simulate the L. I've never ridden a wheel I like better than my Lynx but I sometimes like to really get on it and it takes its toll on the charge. I recently went on a 42.5 mile ride and I was sweating it about making it back home. I have the 62lb springs and the Kenda knobby. I would get the street tire if I got an L. Would you recommend the 66lb? The 62 is great on my Lynx. Hard to justify $4,500 for more range but I am so hooked on riding I'm on it almost every day. What are your recommendations? Thanks! This is my favorite EUC channel.
@@cash2.0 thanks for your kind words! Honestly the L and the Lynx are so, so similar. The L is slightly less maneuverable than the Lynx but it's almost imperceptible. I have the 66 on the Lynx and the L and I don't really notice a difference personally. The L is a little bit more stable than the Lynx at speed, but barely. I personally own the L for long street rides and the Lynx (with Shinko 244 tire) for trail rides. It might be hard to justify the extra moolah for such a similar wheel with 50% more battery, but then again, I don't think you'll regret it 🙂
If I weigh 200 - 210 what spring would you get. And I live in Michigan and winter is coming real soon I wont😢be riding much until spring do you think something may be coming that will compete with over the winter @@WheelGoodTime
@RUSHmarley2112 for your weight, I'd recommend a 66 lbs or 70 lbs suspension. There's quite a bit of overlap so it's hard to go wrong with either. I ride with the 66 lbs one, my riding weight is about 205 lbs, and I'm very happy with my 66 🙂
How about the second part of my question - do you think there will be a better wheel coming in the spring? Winter is coming here in Michigan and I won't be riding much for the next 3 months. @@WheelGoodTime
How does that street tire perform on dirt trails with pebbles and small stones similar to the ones depicted? Im on the fence about which to get? Should i go for the quieter tire vs being able to use it on dirt trails reliably?
@@UpcomingJedi if I were you, I'd stick with the street tire unless you are doing over 50% trails. Personally I love an extra stable tire, and the L's street tire offers that. I wasn't very impressed with the knobby tire at all. I have no doubt that it'll perform better on trails, but the street tire isn't useless (or even bad) on trails either - it's just not the ideal tire if you are on trails all the time.
I've been debating over the Sherman L and the GT Pro+ as a go-to street wheel. Would you have any opinion over either one in just a general use case sense?
The Sherman L is dramatically more useful for general purposes, because it's much lighter weight, has a slightly smaller tire, and is more maneuverable. Also, the Sherman L has better waterproofing, better ride feel, and higher build quality. However, if you are an expert rider and want to ride obnoxiously fast on the street, that the GT Pro+ is the wheel for you!
@@-JohnSmith- I ride with high speed mode on, and hit 50 mph on it a few times in recent rides with no PWM beeps. And my beeps are set to 14% 🤷 unrelated, sorta: get this... @@WheelGoodTime I have my wheel beeps set to Max on the Lynx I believe it's 85% GPS speed they start about 48, according to EUC world I have it set to 89% pwm and above 85% battery they always start 50 GPS but I've looked at data logging and it's said 0% safety margin a few times
@@-JohnSmith- yeah the pwm data sent to EUC world and darknessbot is not accurate, and that's actually a big problem... I should've hit them on that in this review. Oh well.
Waterproof on this weel better than all weels, other wheels write about a greater degree of protection from water, but they are simply lying about it. Never believe what they write about waterproofing, all you need is to come to a service center and ask there about how often moisture gets into the wheels, into the bearing, into the controller, into the motor wheels, into the body and other places. Here in Russia, in service centers they immediately say that the Veteran Links and Sherman L are better than all other wheels. I am not even talking about what will happen if you launch some shitty Begod down a mountain or fall with it at speed, the Veteran will be fine, but the Begod or Extreme Bull will have to be literally taken apart so that their wheels will move again.
No EUC companies will honor their warranties if water gets in and damage the board or others components (at least for now) its the same for cell phones !! Great review bud. BTW what pedals did you put on it ?? they look like Erides but they seems lighter
Those are the stock pedals, but they have the same risers that e-rides pedals have! So you have the benefit of having really lightweight pedals, but also high quality studs and heel/toe risers. The best of both worlds! I found them on AliExpress for about $70.
The legalize fentanyl cocaine in marijuana before they regulate EUCS If you think that way you're in big trouble. These things are getting more and more powerful and faster. And there's a lot of people doing crazy things on the streets making it bad for the rest of us
Top cruising speed is the max potential speed a rider can go with a full battery without cutting out. 😊 It varies from person to person based on their weight, posture, etc.
No thanks. Pads, seats and pedals shouldn’t be included for high performance EUCs. And, it’s just annoying to hear YT content creators harping on the accessories that most people change out regardless of what OEM accessories are included. Imho, I don’t even want the tire, trolley handle, headlight or kickstand included with a new high performance wheel. Imagine what awesome kickstands we’d have if it was simply left to the aftermarket suppliers. Instead, it would be better to demand better/ more transparent firmware… yeah, Leaperkim’s firmware is STILL insufficient, and every LK video should emphasize this ongoing problem until it’s fixed.
@hankVa13ncia yeah he ordered the Street tire but the supplier accidentally sent the knobby, so James is sending him a free street tire because of their mistake.
You really need to stop hitting companies for not including pads you know that they got sued by begode for including them they cannot include them That's why the dealers are including them
@@ReviewThisTestThat they could include pads made by a third party, just not pads that they themselves make. And if they don't, then the price should also reflect that fact - because pads are a necessity for riding such a heavy EUC.

6:04 I believe Begode has a patent on including pads with wheels, so other manufacturers can’t
That is true - but they all get around it, in general, by including pads in the box which are made by someone else. Beidou, specifically 🙂
Yeah and i think this is stupid from Begode, they don't own the pads patent only the ''included in the box''
