Thanks for this guide - got the full complement of these new on sprue from a mate at a knockdown price. I *love* these sculpts; definitely the ‘Munda answer to the Fremen. Got them built and primed and really looking forward to finding time to get some proper paint on them.
Thanks for your video bud, I'm completely new to Necromunda and picked up a box of Ash wastes for how they look, now I'm looking forward to getting them painted and seeing what toxic mayhem I can wield.
the most informational necromunda channel on youtube!!!! as a new player its such a delight to read along with you, really helps me retain all the information to a new game. keep it up and thx!
When I saw Steel legion at Warhammer world, I fell in love with them, I knew that they were the army for me, and in terms of design, scheme and sculpt, they could not be bettered. Only the Nomads have even come close. They were reason enough for me to get into Necromunda, and I cant wait to start building and playing them.
Having just picked up the nomads and helamite dudes, I found this guide and your channel! Amazing breakdown. One more comment for the holy algorithm! 😊
Obviously we can all read the books, if we’ve got them, and we can all try and do the ‘math-hammer’ on a gang to make an awesome list; however, I fully appreciate getting your take on the gangs and lists and think it’s brilliant. I love your style of presentation as it feels like it’s just 2 blokes down the pub talking about stuff they love (albeit I’ve just been listening). Thank you from 11,500 miles away in Cornwall, England.
Great content as usual :) One interesting interaction to keep in mind for games in the Ash wastes is that if there is limited visibility all weapons have to use their Long range to hit modifiers, regardless of the actual distance the target is at and having access to Long rifles even on basic gangers + the ability to manipulate the weather with Storm callers means nomads with rifles will always have +1 to hit on any target in sight, while most enemy guns will never get to use their more common Short range to hit bonuses (+ to hit at long range is pretty rare: Long las, Long rifle and Lascannon are the only guns that come to mind). Keep up the good work and cheers! :)
i found this channel just last week, and i have been binging your guides in the blistering heat, been gearing up for going into my first campaign, going to play a goliath gang as it seems, but this sure threw a wrench in the spokes! so don't be going and make a stellar Delaque guide now to further splinter me ;D
Played nomads v Ironheads with a rockgrinder last night. Once the charge caster was shot off the third floor they had nothing that could touch the trucks toughness. Blast carbines were really good against squats T4 though.
Great job on the review and I love the channel. Ive played the nomads once and agree with what you said. The charge caster is great, and the speed of the gang is fun. Im thinking of using this gang in a future campaign.
Hoping that they'll add shotguns with a weapons upgrade kit :) (also just getting a weapons kit so the base box isn't so restrictive on how you build them.. I don't have a lot of bits that fit these guys :< )
It’s such a disappointment the Nomads can’t use the other Beastmasters. Given the restricted access to hangers etc it seems like a real missed opportunity. With hindsight, Beastmasters would have made great alternative prospects playable in all formats. The mounted units would have been better profiled no different to dirt bikes.
Can the Nomads take Beastmaster hangeron? I thought it said the only hangers on they could take have to say it specifically, which Beastermasters do not.

Can’t tell you how great it is to see you break down Ash Wastes. Thank you!
Cheers mate
Thanks for your great guides. After this I don't even want to get rid of my Nomads from the box anymore.
If you do you know I'll take them 🤣

Love that one, well done!
Thanks mate!
This will be my first gang when I play!
I like to think they don't use grenades because they're more likely to blow around in the wastes
Could be yeah
EXCELLENT :-)
Many thanks!

RAW no, but I'd allow it
How to do a 1000 point list with ashes?
Yeah I was thinking of doing a starting list for every gang at some point if you'd like that? 👍
@@wellywoodwargaming it will be amazing.
@@wellywoodwargaming that would be very helpful.
No grenades for raiders 🤯
Sad times
Can they get grenades from trading post/black market? Giving them to the bug riders and doing grenade drive-by's seems maybe op?
Hail all
Like the video just wish there was time stamps
I can fix that. Thanks for the feedback
space wolves arent cool... 🤯 You can really go off people quicky :P jokes aside great video keep up the good work!
Haha well I'm a 3rd legion kind of guy
