Love the wash and detail videos, one of my favorite parts of owning a car. It's a reminder to slow down and do it right as we can be in a hurry these days! And the mic is awesome.

I bought an Air Cannon JR from Adams Detail. They work awesome to get all the water out of the seams of a vehicle. Around the grille and headlights and about anywhere else on a vehicle. Get one and you will definitely never be without one. Nice job!
I agree 💯 on the vehicles looking amazing when they’re wet! Nothing beads up nicer than a freshly waxed paint!! I like cleaning my truck about 2 days before it rains. I know, sounds pointless but I do it because it looks so good!

You do an excellent job cleaning your car (or any car in particular), Kayla. I bet she'll be very proud of what you've done to the car.
I too, have had issues trying to find a plastic trim that lasts more than a couple months (or doesn't leave residue streaming down from it, after ...) But, I have now found my favorite! I took my 2011 Toyota Tundra that had really bad faded plastics (I have lived in SWFL now for 5 yrs) CERAKOTE Trim and also their headlight kit!!! WOW! Brought it back to original, no residue and they claim 1-2 yr durability! UA-cam reviews are impressive, I've only been a month so far, but it still looks perfect. And this Tundra sits outside in the FL sun, all day, every day. Also, I have similar issues with the sun, and have found that Adam's soap is the best for non-spotting in the sun... I use it in my foamer as well.
One of my favorite products I use on all vehicles oddly enough is from Turtle Wax, their hybrid solutions spray sealant is amazing. Especially for only being $13. I get a good 3 months out of it before having to reapply.
I absolutely loveee detailing my own cars haha it’s fun and therapeutic but I also run a detailing business so when there’s costumers on the line wanting their cars done as fast as possible while being done right and getting paid for it then it becomes a chore and stressful which sucks bc I like detailing :(
that is why i never worked on cars for money, only aircraft

You did a great job! I love the fact you love doing stuff like that for your parents. I'm a weekend warrior so I know how long a good detail takes. Usually 4-6 hrs and that's just the outside! But keep up the videos....they are great!

Voodoo blue is my all time favorite TRD Pro color.
You leave no stone unturned. Gtechniq has some good stuff. I love CSL/EXO(EXO is a little smeary...CSL is a breeze to work with). I haven't tried their soap or wheel cleaner. Their iron remover and degreaser work well. Nice job. I remember seeing this vehicle in another video....the paint on this was like it is in this video....glowing!!! Pat Yourself on the back as You do a great job.

amazing wash, that toyota blue remind me of the ford mustang grabber blue, just washed my dads 69' camaro z/28! he has the 69 convertible camaro as well but I wish his match 1 1969 was still here, it got stolen in the 80s!

Kayla this is the first time I've came across your channel and I can say you did an awesome job on your mom's 4Runner. It looks fantastic! Now I just wish that I've choose to purchase to buy my 4Runner with that color and the modifications. I will most definitely look into use those products that you've use in this video and give it a try. Once you decide to do a video on cleaning the interior of the car can you let me know the products that you use as well. I've been trying to find better products that are best fit for the interior and has yet found them. Thanks again!

I always in joyed wash my cars- bike’s, I use Chemical guys i like the way it smells. and when I wax I go the Direction the wind blows over the car. 👍👍💯

I use a cheap ceramic coating for black plastic trim.. works perfectly! As for tires I havn't found anything yet..
Proje is a great product that’s easy to apply and lasts several months. You can coat glass and plastics as well. Camera makes you look amazing. I may get one now. 4Runner is beautiful. I got SystemX Diamond ceramic coating and it’s amazing!

Washing a car in direct sunlight is a HUGE no no in the detailing industry lol. Its the thought that matters though, Great job either way! I'm sure mom was happy :)
That color of blue is Gorgeous!
If you are looking for a crazy good black trim protectant/restorer, then try out The Last Coat Ceramic Trim. You can apply it and then wash the car and it will still stay on after more than 10 washes.
I've been using this on my truck and relatives car and it blows everyone's mind how good it looks and how long it can last.

That is a really in depth overview of all of the products that you used. It looks super easy to maintain a paint finish other than opening the citrus foam with your teeth and the time consuming part 😂 I'll be on the lookout for Kayla Rundle brand micro fiber towels in my local walmart! Her car is so quiet compared to the cammed Camaro!!
Not a fan of Japanese trucks/SUVs, but the color on that 4Runner is nice. Had a 4Runner back in the day and it was underpowered & riddled with electrical gremlins, so I never bought Japanese again (contrary to old stereotypes about durability). All my Fords & Jeeps have been very durable.
I love my 4Runner and my Tundra! I’m very concerned about the next gen 4Runner especially after seeing the new Tundra and all its troubles. The 4Runner is arguably the most dependable vehicle in the world, let’s hope it stays that way.
Your mom have good taste and really smart she know the 4Runner can run 300k plus miles with very little problems!

I love detailing too it’s my therapy. I do the same thing too I usually buy a specific brand’s signature product like I love the Adams car shampoo but use chemical guys vrp for tire dressing
It’s fine to use acid wheel cleaner on the tires… brake dust gets on the sidewalls too. You’re saying it’s bad for the paint? What do you think they put on the aluminum wheels after machining?

They are meant to be worn... for some reason I always end up wearing one of my nicer pairs of Jordan's when working on cars. I can also detail shoes quite well if they get dirty. Nothing stopping me!!

Your moms 4runner looks beautiful. It’s my favorite truck. I have the 98 4runner. Your new camera equipment is great too. Are you using a mic as well? If it’s just the camera audio? It’s amazing. Sending love from Guyana 🇬🇾 South America near to Brazil.
I use my electric leaf blower to dry my vehicles. My truck is ceramic coated and it takes 10 minutes to get the truck 95% dried off. Then the shammy will collect the little bit of residual.
Pro Tip. Use a leaf blower after washing to get the majority of the water off the vehicle, leaving you with much less to towel dry. Works great on getting water out of crevices that you can't reach with the towel.
Pro tip….leaf blowers just blow dust onto the wet car.

I recommend gyeon’s wet coat for get some crazy bead action when using a leaf blower to dry off. Very convenient when drying vehicle off and for easy application
