I ordered the Feryes clippers (I love them, too!), Tweerzerman Pushy, BlueStar cuticle remover, Kerasal, and Jojoba oil - conditioned feet and hands for 4 days before it all arrived and then followed your instructions - OMG!!! My feet and hands have never been done correctly by me or salons (I'm 64) and I did not get one single bloody spot! Every nail looks perfect, healthy, natural, and beautiful!!! Dry mani/pedi with YOUR technique is the only way I will ever do my nails again. Thank YOU so much for sharing your expertise and the product links. You are heaven sent, Lovely Lady! 😇
I love love LOVE your videos and I think you are truly the best channel for nail education on YT which is why I hesitate to say it would be so helpful if you could give some additional information during the each step e.g. what the various bits do and how you use them (where to apply the pressure, how little to use etc.) Also, the same kind of direction you give when dealing with the cuticle and nail fold in your hand videos would be amazing but in this regard, how to treat the side walls, especially when they are so deep (my issue) and how to deal with sharps nail that can seems to splinter along the sides whenever I try to file there. I just came away with so many questions after watching this wonderful work. Thank you so much for your incredible work and your obvious consideration for people's health when looking after their nails. I hope my huge comment is only taken with the dearest tone it is sent with, best wishes from Australia, Amanda p.s. I must add, my apologies if all of this information can be found in earlier videos. I am only new to your channel and am slowly working my way through your entire collection to learn as much as I can from you! xx
p.p.s. I've already seen amazing progress following your advice not to use aggressive tools to clean under the nail as well as using oil and moisturiser religiously throughout the day and overnight. I hadn't realised how bad my habit for nail cleaning had become until you explained how both that and the nail fold care affects the length of the nail bed. I can even feel how much better the nails feel as far as being attached to the free edge goes. It's only early days (maybe a month) but your advice is helping immensely and I now know those long healthy nail beds I have always wanted are actually attainable!
As some of us get older and our feet become less attractive we don't think of them as often yet it is still good personal hygiene to maintain our feet. Thank you! You are the consummate professional.
Thank you so much for posting more pedicure information. You’ve transformed my manicure knowledge as an at home DYI person. I’m curious if there’s a way to prevent large build up of skin under the big toes.
Thank you for this. I also have very tough cuticle on my toes especially the outside baby toe and next one along. I feel more confident to use an e file on it now.
@TheSalonLife with kerasal most nights and the file once a fortnight it's looking and feeling 90% improved. I don't think it's going to be possible to eliminate it completely as its an natural process to callus there, but I'm happier with my pedis now
Thank you for your video- I’m so glad you are doing more pedicure videos. I want to get a tool like the one you were using a lot on the big toe to get under and in between the sides. It was not electric but it was a thin tool you used to get underneath. What is it called? Also - I’m afraid to do that because does it separate and break the seal the skin folder has on the side from the nail plate?
Hello Anna, for some unknown reason I now see where I became unsubscribed to your channel a couple months ago. I thought you had stopped putting out videos but when I looked for you the other day I found you are still making videos and was thrilled! I am still catching up the videos I missed. Although this one is a month old you may not notice my comment. I have a question as to why the (one particular toenail) second toenail seemed so exceptionally groved downwards into the deep side walls on both sides and also appeared a bit longer....I was expecting you to trim the corners like you do sometimes. I loved this video and find these so calming and educational at the same time. Thank you for all you do for us and the work that it takes to educate us on proper technique. ❤
Hello Barbara! Thank you kindly! If you decide to work with e-file I highly suggest a specific, in depth, hands-on training. The rpm depends on the bit used and what I'm doing. Shortening of the nails (depends. 15K or 10K) Sanding band 10K Tapared Barrel 10K Cone bit 12K Pedicure discs 20K
How often do you recommend giving yourself a pedicure? I have been doing weekly nail maintenance per your instructions for a year with great results. Is toenail maintenance the same? Xx
it really depends on the feet (genetics, age, activity level) but usually every 2 weeks. Nails on feet grow slower than on hands. At least it's good to shorten the toenails.
Honestly, i felt the relief watching this! I have the same deepness on my big toe nail. Is this something i can also do at home or is it better to seek a professional? Ive gotten pedicures before and have hoped to get this same kind of treatment but it seems like no one does this.
I bought the clippers you recommended - magic! Can you help me understand what the buildup is along the sides of the nails? Is the material that comes off nail or skin? It sure is satisfying after it’s gone.
It’s not from this video. It’s during a pedicure when feet have been soaking. When you take a flat tool and gently scrape around the side edges of the nail there is always some material that gets scraped off. I hope I am describing what I am talking about well enough.
Correct shape depends on the shape of the nail. I follow the shape of the nail bed and I round off the corners so they are not sharp. It’s very easy to incorrectly cut the nails DIY leaving sharp pieces which can pierce the skin leading to ingrown nails. If the nails are not ingrown properly cutting them following the shape of the nail bed will not make them I grow. I explain this more in the next pedicure video
I am very curious, if there is ringworm or other fungal infections on the nails, wouldn't using the same tool for all other nails spread it to the other toes? I am only curious as to how to proceed for my own toes. thanks
@@TheSalonLife I did get it diagnosed and got some oral medication but in the 3 months I will have to still cut my nails whether it is fungal or not so should I use disposable files? thanks
It amaze me how many people would neglect their hands and feet but would often go get a pedi and their nails done every 3-4-5 weeks and expect a miracle walking out of the salon. Take care of your whole body as if it’s daily brushing your teeth.
Hi! I have a question about my own foot nails. I have a few nails that are not growing "straight" (horizontal) or slightly down. Some of mine are growing upward (?). Is there a way I can correct that ? I keep them very short so it’s not obvious that they have a weird shape but then it’s still ugly because it’s tiny. I’ve had them like that for as long as I remember 😕
Hello there! How the nails are growing cannot be changed. Unless they are growing up due to trauma or fungal infections. Keeping them short is a good idea
Being very elderly and unable to bend enough it is very, very difficult to take care of my feet and I don't like going to nail salons because they cut the nails too short. I wish the feet in the video could have been mine, boohoo😢

Excellent video showing how a pedicure is essential for the elderly, as caring for ourselves becomes harder. Brava! ❤
These don’t exactly look like elderly feet to me, but I agree it is essential for the elderly.
You are the Nail Fairy Godmother we didn’t know we needed! Thank you for the knowledge and advice 🧚🏼♀️🤍✨
Thank you kindly! ❤️
You truly are the queen of natural nail care. I’ve learned so much from you. This is awesome!
Thank you so much 🤗
The person receiving the pedicure must feel like a totally new person now that you have finished ❤

My nails grow deep in the side walls, and if they’re not trimmed, it’s painful! Great video.
So satisfying to watch. Your client would have felt amazing after this!
Thank you kindly!

Depends why the skin is there? Is it pressure? Is it fungal?
Comme d'habitude c'est magique! Merci beaucoup chère fée!
Thank you so much!! ❤️

Usually it’s not a cuticle but callused skin fold.

Can I ask what speed the drill is on when you use the arbour band to do the hard skin around the toes?
So do the Erica bits and barrels fit on the scamander listed in your description? Love your work and appreciate all the tips you share. 😊
Yes they fit the Melody Susie e-files. Melody Susie efiles are good but their bits are not
@@TheSalonLife Great! Thank you so much!!
The level of detail is fantastic. What do you spray onto the toes? Is it water or alcohol or something else? Thank you.
I refer to the very first time you spray the nails!
Yes. A disinfecting alcohol spray :)

Hi what kind of nail clippers or those?
The links for the things that is possible I have always links in the description box :)

Wow. The side wall work made me cringe 😖 and that pedi took some work, but no one does it better than you 🤩
