I recently strated with my watercolour colour journey, but everytime I tried to mix colours I ended up with muddy brown.
It lost my morale and I decided to gave up on it.
But the way u showed and how much in quanity each colour should be mixxed.
I am again gonna pick up my brushes and my colours. This time with a refenrce of your video and will mix my colours.

Hello, I just started watching you, and I watched how you mix certain colors to make others. I'm not an artist, and I was wondering what color (and amounts) do i mix to make fuscia.

What are each of the first colors in each swatch? You started specific (i.e. royal blue, lemon yellow), but then stopped labeling them

Hi.. thanks for the tutorials, I bought the wrong color, can I change the torqoius color to sage ?
You would have to add yellow to the turquoise until you got a nice green and then mix it with gray. I’ll post the link to my sage mixing video under this comment.

Here’s a dark sample of Garnet! You’ll want to use more bright red to make it brighter or add white to lighten the shade. Play around with it! 🎨😁

It is acrylic, but these mixtures should work for any medium. Season to taste if you know what I mean 🤩

And this video will show you how to make/mix gold. Try combining the two colors to get the olive gold you’re looking for. I would go heavy on the gold and slowly add the olive color.

I have been watching and enjoying you channel very much. I’ve been wanting to come up with a champagne color in acrylic paint. How would I make that color?
If I wanted a champagne color, I might use a thin layer of gold metallic. Do you think that would work?

There was an acrylic paint company called Accent that made a color they labeled “Bordeaux” #2322, looking like a deep burgundy, more purple than red. I don’t believe this company is still in business and I am desperate to find this color. I tried to match it in Michael’s and Joanne’s to no avail. The only thing left is to color match it with latex paint at Home Depot and add baking soda to make a chalk paint,or leave as is. Thing is, even a quart size is more than I could ever use. Do you have a formula for this color that I can play around with? Ty

@@CourageousColor they say you learn something new every day and today I learned I can step out of my box and learn how to mix colors. And it’s all thanks to you!! And your wonderful video. I learned from you, how to mix and measure to come up with a new or matching color. This burgundy color is so beautiful and a shame the company went out of sight and no one else has duplicated it. Well, I used your ideas of where to start, added this and that, and by some miracle, I’ve created the exact color! I can’t believe it!! I used red, purple, brown, black of my acrylics and played with it till I came up with the color. I painted three samples on paper, dried it, then compared it with the original. I got it on the third try. I am STUNNED and ever so grateful for your video and expertise. Of course, I’ll still get a sample jar of latex paint and have it duplicated, and see if they’ll give me the formula. But for today, I’ll stand so proud of myself for this accomplishment, which I will continue to practice because it’s so much fun. Thank you so very much.
